Great place but be prepared for loud music from the club next door. Nothing a good set of foam earplugs won't cure. It's right across the street from the Wonderland Soi 94 nightlife area so what do you expect? Great restaurant across the street, Hot Pan 2!

Great hotel in the middle of Hua Hin not expensive. If you have difficulty sleeping or want quiet life maybe not for you, nightlife on doorstep. Staff super friendly. I had a problem with the sink and electric light in bathroom both fixed promptly. Restaurants/ bars, 7/11, shopping mall all very close by !

I thought this hotel was all round ok for a few nights but I would not wish to stay here longer than that, there is certainly room for improvement however it was ok. Location was fair, possibly better had I rented a motorbike, close to a couple of lovely restaurants, Pat's Place & Eat@Hua Hin, small pool area, pillows were not great so sleep a bit hit and miss. Plus points is that it was good value, quirky decor, quiet, clean & well as I say, ok for a few nights. Just a note,
complimentary tea/coffee would have been nice to go with the room facilities to make one in the morning, probably won't stay again.

Nice Hotel close to all the main attractions

Hotel is in good location close to all the main focal points. Pros: clean room, kind of small for family of more than 2, lots of pubs and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Village center mall is also within walking distance. Hua Hin beach is kind of little ways out, but can take Tuk Tuk and get there in ten minutes, Friendly staff at counter. Cons: Window in bathroom has a opening that lets mosquito into room. Gotten bitten few times - bring scratching cream in case if you get bitten - leave door b/w bathroom and bedroom locked all the times. Also, after 10pm or 22:00hours at night, I could hear loud music coming from hotel downstairs close by - disturbed my sleep. Can't complain - they can't do anything anyways. I was in room #203 - not good. - ask for room on 6th floor away from street. Hotel has elevator so no problem. Didn't try breakfast or anything else - always ate outside - lots of restaurants nearby -mostly Europeans.

Looking forward to going back

I've stopped at this hotel on several occasions and will come back again. It's a nice hotel, everything is in good condition and the staff are very friendly. Location is very good - Soi 94 has many restaurants / shops / bars and it's only a few minutes by baht bus into the town centre. Parking is a little limited at the hotel but is also available at the restaurant next door which is under the same ownership.
There's a good buffet breakfast available but also many other options nearby.
Rooms are comfortable but possibly lack a bit of storage space.
The beach is a good 15 minutes walk away but a better option is to get the baht bus to the town centre and head to the beach from there.
Will be back here next year.

Ok hotel. I can't say it is really a budget hotel due to the tax added to the price., and if you add breakfast will be even more. The hotel is clean, the bed is ok, the pillow is too high not comfy and the bathroom is minuscule, very small but clean enough for short stay. The staff are ok as we did not request any information or help for anything.

A little bit far to main street.

You can hear the sound of the train in your room and the swiming pool is realy small. It's very close to 7/11, but far from the sea and town market. Breakfast restaurant is not good sanitation, their are so many flies.

Very nice new hotel. Rooms are over 6 floors but has a lift. Pool is small and a bit cramped but good enough to cool off in. Rooms very good with safe, good air con, comfy big beds fridge and TV. WIFI a bit sketchy sometimes but usable. Rooms on the 4th, 5th and 6th floor has a balcony which is good if you are a smoker as the hotel is non smoking in the rooms and public areas. Location is not too bad with the beach a five minute walk. A good selection of bars, restaurants and a 7/11 close by. It's walkable to the night market and main 'entertainment' square but takes around 30 minutes but plenty of tuk tuk close by so not a problem.A five minute walk away is the Market Village Mall for any and all shopping needs. A good nice value for money hotel.

Stayed here for a week recently. I booked it based on my experience here last year and wasn't disappointed. Although located out of the centre of town the hotel has many facilities within easy walking distance. If you need to get into the centre it's a 5 minute baht bus ride or a 25 minute stroll. But Soi 94, where the Goodview is located, has many restaurants, bars, convenience stores etc so you don't really need to travel too far.
Parking is a bit tight but the hotel also uses the nearby Restaurant 94 car park.
Room was very clean and all staff were very friendly. Wifi throughout the hotel.
Will definitely stay here again when in Hua Hin.

I liked my stay at HuaHin GoodView hotel, It was pleasant. Management and staff understood the business language of \"English\" for good communication. Each room has a balcony and in the afternoon I was able absorb some more sun and enjoy the breeze at night time. Location of the hotel had a good variety of restaurants and bars with live music, but the volume was too loud from the speakers at 12 midnight when I wanted to sleep. I personally don't like loud noise near a hotel or a place I like to stay. Then there was the night train which came serval times at night after 10pm, which was more noise. I chose hotel based on price and other reviews. Hotel provides free shuttle service at 1030am and 2pm to and from the beach, etc. i.e. I needed to be dropped off to the bus station going back to Bangkok and shuttle service was good for it at 1030am. On personally a note the management was kind to me in concern to my skin condition I have dealing with, and the management brought be raw aloe vera to apply for my skin. That was very kind of them to care about my skin condition issue and that I was comfortable.

Very clean and one of the most comfy beds in Thailand. Small bathroom but wonderful shower and does the job. I hear complaints about the train noise but has a small town and natural Thailand feel for me. Great laid back neighborhood and away from the crowds, Good tv channels, an excellent wifi and good value for the money. I've been staying here for years and will always come again when passing thru hua hin.

We really enjoyed our 11 nights stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The surrounding area is good for nightlife and eating out. The offered Thai restaurant is a good basic Thai place, although the breakfast was a typical Thai take on European breakfasts and was the same every day. The shuttle bus is free twice a day but outside those times is costs 100 baht - £2 each way, still good value. The hotel pool was small but clean and refreshing. Only snag was the wifi signal which was very poor.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The proximity to the night markets and shopping mall was good. Also close to the beach. The rooms were clean and the a/c in our room worked very well. My only complaint is that the property is close to the railroad tracks and the trains run all night. Earplugs solved the noise problem and there was no shaking or vibrations from the trains. I would stay here again.

We stayed there 6 days of relaxation we had a wonderful time relaxing around the pool going to the beach getting them to take us to the Night Market my shuttle and pick-ups up every night they have a wonderful buffet in the morning with omelette stand and corn flakes and likes lots of fruit salads just a Great Buffet that comes with the room outstanding and all the coffee you want and the price was right so we would recommend this hotel to anyone the the people at the hotel we're very nice and went out of their way for us numerous times

Stayed here for 5 nights in February. A very pleasant hotel. All staff very friendly. Room was a good size, clean and well maintained. The pool is only small but the area is nice for relaxation.
The hotel uses the restaurant next door to provide a very nice buffet breakfast.
Although located some way from the centre of Hua Hin, it's easy to get there - about 5 minutes by car / motorbike / baht bus. There are also many good quality restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Excellent value for money - will definitely stay here again.

NOT in a \"great location\", noisy, otherwise OK

Considering the geography of Hua Hin, anything which lies west (away from the beach) of the railroad track cannot be considered in a \"good location\". Goodview hotel is on soi 94, a growing business street, but to get to the beach you need to cross the railroad track (and the parallel open sewer making mosquitos be an unwelcome issue for the vicinity), then cross the busy divided highway (without making use of a pedestrian overpass as it is too far from soi 94). The railway station, the night market and city center lie between 2 and 3 kilometers (1.5 to 2 miles) from this hotel. I would never have booked this hotel have I known all of this. On the positive side, the bus station is walking distance.
Also, make sure not to get a room on the front of the hotel, because you would be too close to the traffic (motorbikes and all other noises). The hotel is kept very clean and decorations are quite alright. Rooms are small (the shower area is ridiculously small) but are clean and functional. Pool is ridiculously small (exactly 3X 8 meters), but I still made use of it, in the midday sun. Buffet breakfast is standard (not extensive nor very frugal but I was happy to see relatively good croissants on top of the usual toast).
All in all, when coming to Hua Hin, only pre-book the first night (or not even) and do not do what I did (pre-booked and prepaid for three nights) and feel sorry afterwards.

Hotel is in a good location for food,drinking,beach and shopping.However unless you are a lover of trains you will hate being woken up at 5am,6am and 7am,it feels as if a express train is going through your room so not a peaceful location.Pool area is small but adequate,soft music plays most of the day.
Lovely Japanese restaurant next door called Sakura,we'll worth a visit and nice atmosphere.

A clean and friendly hotel. All staff were very friendly and we received a warm welcome. Room size spacious enough, has a balcony. Bathroom a good size, hot shower, free shampoo and shower gel.Free towels to use at the beach or the swimming pool.Breakfast was tasty, offering an omlette cooked to your liking and a mixture of a few thai and the usual western breakfast. Did not use the free shuttle service but there is a motorcycle taxi service close by and cheap too. Found tuk tuks expensive in Hua Hin. Overall we liked this hotel and staff very much and would recommend this hotel.

The receptionist can speak English well. I booked 3 rooms, two standard room and one deluxe room. I couldn't differentiate the different even though I was told that the room will be bigger. The only different is that the standard room have hanger for us to dry clothes and deluxe (more expensive) don't have the facility. We hire a bus around Hua Hin, so there won't be any problem to go around but swiss farm and santorini park is rather far from the place we stay~

If you're staying at this hotel, most likely you're a party animal so the noise at wonderland won't affect you.

下午入住時原本還以為應該是不錯的飯店。

工作人員非常親切且服務很好，我們去泳池使用的時候，還很貼心地幫我打開SPA的按摩水池。

但因為飯店外面就是酒吧，音樂聲吵到半夜12點才結束！

最誇張的是隔壁的人一大早就在“做雙人運動“！那位女性根本當作沒有其他房客一樣的忘情呻吟！

雖然這間飯店的床墊很舒服，價格也不會太誇張的貴，但缺點大於優點，不會再入住這間了。

Hinta ja laatu kohtasi, perus halpishotelli. Henkilökunta avuliasta ja mukavaa. Äänieristys heikko. Huoneessa niukasti säilytys-/laskutilaa vaatteille ja tavaroille. Aamupala suppea, mutta riittävä (amupala oli viereisessä ravintolassa).
