The Lapa is located in a good location. Easy to get everywhere. The hotel room was clean and tidy. We had a huge room. Just little things. Only had one bedside table. Toilet roll holder behind the toilet not easy to access? Light for hand basin was low to cupboard not up above basin? Taps turn on/off differently to normal but still worked. Pool was cool. Many people sunbaking but not swimming. Just a quick dip. It was a good place to stay in Hua Hi

Its right in the city of Hua Hin. Next to a new shopping mall which you can find almost everything there. Their foodcourt is just 1 min walk away from the lobby... the room, service and surrounding of this hotel is awesome. Will come back to stay for sure.

Decent location next to a massive mall, and a few minutes walk (through other hotels) to the beach. Along a main road which offers some convenience, but lots of noise.

One thing to note about the place is that it feels a bit too..open. There aren't any walls or doors to walk into the lobby, so it just kind of feels like it's part of the street, or a public area. Our first room was on the first floor, which felt almost insecure/dangerous because of that.

First room we got had broken drawers and was on the first floor. The staff changed us quickly which was cool, but didn't look too happy doing so.

Numerous times I had to inquire of something at the front desk but no staff was there....So I just had to kind of shout and hope someone would hear me from the back. They always did, but it felt a bit unprofessional.

Wifi is a JOKE here. In both of the rooms we had, and my friend's room on the other side of the complex, it was unusable. Downloading a single song from Apple music (mp3) took about 6 minutes. The fact that they call this \"wifi\" is almost fraudulent. It seems more like the entire hotel is tethered to someone's 3G cell phone.

Pool area is decent and spacious.

Room had zero view and therefore didn't feel very comfortable to relax in. Open the (ripped) curtains and we get a view of a shady-looking alleyway with loud motorcycles occasionally parking a few feet away.

Photos are deceptive too! No blue sky next to the pool...it's a 4-floor mall now!

Fantastic location situated right next to Bluport Mall and we had peace of mind parking our car on the premises. The breakfast staff service is great! The property seems a little old e.g. a crack in my parquet, spoilt door, loose shower hinge. But if it is within their capacity the staff will respond quickly to your fault report.

Good location near Bluport shopping mall, Let's Relax spa center, Air Space, Hua Hin night market, Cicada market and Market village. Good Wifi connection. However lacking good aroma oil/ scent which we usually enjoyed in Thailand. Also limited drink water supplies and no tissue supplies - these will certainly come in handy when needed.

Staff service at night good but day time, staff less attentive though not many guests.

The Nice Hotel Close to The Biggest Mall

When we arrived, it was not time to check in yet, so it was helpful when the staff let us keep our luggage at the lobby. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool is not too small nor too big.

Second stay went well

Our second stay here, and just as good. We had to put up with a very noisy stage show for Songkran weekend, but it was no fault of the hotel. We requested and were moved to a quieter room the next day. Otherwise, our stay was all that we expected. The fantastic pool was the highlight of our trip.

The hotel is nice,10 min. walk to the beach,breakfast is bare minimum,besides booking the rooms early January,2 rooms side by side,ground floor,they were not able to do that,according to them there are no rooms on the ground floor,but I saw rooms...and they say that is your fault..even on the second floor they were not able to do that,only the next day..who wants to change again?.. because of all that I van not recommend the hotel,we informed them on the last day we have to go to the train station at 6.30 am and there was a big fuss to check the rooms,if anything is stolen...takes a long time to check...

Quality hotel with good facilities at medium price

Very pleased with the location, facilities and style of this hotel. Staff were mostly helpful, rooms were well-furnished, breakfast was enjoyable and the pool was perfect. We especially liked the paths and garden areas. The kids room was a bonus, the fitness area was adequate and Wifi regularly accessible in many areas. They even had their own poolside beach, without the dog waste found on local beaches! Lapa is our new favorite in Huahin.

Room condition is bad. Paying this kind of price, it is not worth it!!! Many lizards in the room. Room cleanliness is poor. The shower head is even bad, cannot adjust at all. Only the bathroom is huge, nothing more.

Modern, trendy hotel with big rooms and pool

The hotel lies about 3 kms south of Hua Hin and can easly and cheaply be reached by plentiful public transportation. It is a modern and trendy hotel with large and nice rooms and a lovely pool area. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Attached to the hotel is the very nice, modern and excellent Italian restaurant \"Andreas\" where inside and outside dining on the roof top is possible. I would class this hotel a 4* hotel which in its category would deserve 5*****. The only drawback at the moment is a large construction going up just across a small lane behind the swimming pool. The rooms, however, are well insulated, and construction noise exists only outside. Good value for the price.

Good for vacation with your pet.

I went to this hotel 2 times with very impressive experience. But this time is different, the only thing I impressed is that I can bring my dog to the hotel. Breakfast and overall environment are worse comparing with last year. I hope they will improve soon.

Next to a massive construction site!

The welcome was lukewarm - very few smiles from reception staff however the porter was chatty & seemed happy.
The cocoon room was small as expected & felt a bit on the cheap side although it was functional & satisfied our accommodation needs.
Pool area decent although didn't see the point in having a sandy area - there's a beach 5 mins walk away lol
Without the constant noise from the building site our stay would have been reasonable. Overall the reception staff were more interested in their mobile phones; breakfast staff were attentive & the breakfast offer itself was fairly average for Thailand.
If we hadn't got the sale price for the room, I would have felt ripped off.

A Pleasant Surprise

The pictures look too nice on the website but upon arriving, it does look exactly the same as the pictures! I'm very impressed with the design and decor in the room and it was very clean and well maintained, except that one side of the pool had brown tiles that made it look dirty but it wasn't. The staff were really friendly and could speak English. The shuttle service was really useful as well. No toiletries provided so got to bring your own. 7 Eleven is open nearby so it can be a life saver. Just opposite Inter Continental but at such a low cost.

Generally a nice clean hotel. Rooms spacious and clean (attended to daily while we were there). Nice pool area although I suspect in peak season there is not enough sunbeds to accommodate guests.
Our requests for a cot were ignored despite reception confirming they had one we could have. I gave up in the end as we were only staying a short while.
Disappointingly there was nowhere to get food or drink (apart from the breakfast included) within the hotel. There were no bars, restaurants or cafes open within the hotel. This was probably because we weren't staying in peak season (stayed end of October) but I still feel there should be something open to accommodate guests staying in any season. Would recommend to couples and families but only in mid or peak season.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel 3 times within the last 5 years. We're disappointed about how the hotel has changed. Amenities were cut-down, lack of attention in room maintainance, overpriced breakfast. There're little things that keep us thinking that we can stay at better hotels for the same price. I have to say that the staff are excellent, but it can't make up for our disappointment. This is sad because we used to love this hotel so much. We don't think we will stay here for our next visit :(

Great people working at the hotel! They were super friendly and helpful. At the restaurant, they asked from our 5 years old what he wanted for breakfast the next morning, and delivered exactly what he had asked making him so happy. Breakfast was brilliant every day anyway. Rooms were well-equipped for this price range. Concierge was extremely professional, spoke great English and helped us out in many ways.

The only small negative was this major construction just next door. I have to say, however that our room must have had a great insulation as we really didn't hear much inside our room. it was only when we spent time at the pool when we heard the construction.

Very nice hotel, super friendly staff, nice swimming pool. The only thing about this hotel is the location. For us it was perfect cause we rent a motorcycle , but without that it would have been terrible. The have some free shuttle but you re never free to do what you want cause there is really nothing in the close neighbourhood.

3 A: Amazing, Accesible, Ambicable

Amazingly nice hotel; not many rooms yet with so many facilities available. Rooms are big and cozy.

Accessible, a distance away from town (Nighy Market and Market Village), yet still walkable especially in the evening breeze. We walk back almost every day during our 3 nights stay in Hua hin

Ambicable staffs who always offer help and services. We missed the free shuttle ride to town on the day of checkout to take a minivan back to Bangkok, they still offer to send us there free.

Only downside is the mosquitoes! There's a lot of them (in Hua Hin town too) so get the repellent ready. ;)

When we arrived at and departed from the Hua Hin Bus station, they arranged car to pick up and drop off even though the distance was short.
All staffs kept smiley faces and were so friendly, especially Lek were willing to pick us to the unspecific points.
We enjoyed the buy one get one free spa promotion, which was awesome and fantastic.
The hotel offered attentive services, the only downside was the construction noise, but still highly recommend The Lapa hotel.

Room should have luggage stand

Nice cosy hotel with good location. If you going to visit now, there is construction going on so expect noise during the day.
Rooms are spacious but it will be good if they include a luggage stand. Breakfast not much selection, during they stay we were there, ther staffs don't seem friendly at the restaurant.
The hotel offer free pick up & drop off to nearby markets, shopping malls & beach.

The hotel wants foreign custom but staff have limited english, I know it's Thai hotel and it's in Thailand so either dont advertise for non Thai customers or employ english speaking staff. After sitting in the Sand Cafe having a evening meal and wine for four when I asked for some more wine the answer was no we are now closed it was only 21:00 if I had know this was about to happen i wouldd have dined out.

Great hotel. Was there 3 nights and loved the rooms, big and spacious. Very clean. Could do with a proper gym instead of a work out area. But maybe that is on its way coz they were extending out.
Overall great place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Would stay there again.

Small boutique hotel

We really loved our stay at this hotel. It is out of the city centre but on the main road. However it is a walkable distance and certainly we found it a very pleasant stroll to cross the road and walk along the beach into the main town area. When we arrived we were shown to room 108 on the ground floor but it had a very strong antiseptic cleaning smell that I knew would bother me for 6 nights. So we complained to the Manager who showed us 2 other rooms and we decided on room 106, which was actually an upgrade because it was a pool access room ie about 10 steps from the edge of the beautiful pool. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom. The bed was big and comfy. There was a complementary can of beer, coke and little packet of chips (as well as 2 bottles of water) every day in the fridge. Also complimentary snacks each afternoon in the cafe and 25% discount on food and beverages because of the building works nearby - which were not a problem for the time we stayed. Quite a generous offer. The breakfast was very well presented with quite a variety of food.There is a free shuttle from the hotel into town, the beach or night markets too and as it was quiet, the driver often dropped us off at any place in town that we wanted to visit. There are pickup times too.

Great hotel, just out of town.

Excellent rooms and facilities. Some construction still ongoing however not impeding on our stay in any way. About 5 min outside of central Hua Hin. Shuttle bus runs back and forth multiple times per day however does not adhere to timetable advertised in any way. Be sure to speak with reception if you want to go anywhere, they are very helpful. Included breakfast was fairly poor. Quality, selection and service at the restaurant were limited. Wifi was patchy at best. The hotel/room and facilities were otherwise new and of very good standard. Would stay again but look around for better alternatives.

I was staying at the superior room. The room was huge, the bathroom layout is kind of nice. Everything were fine except the floor. I was walking with my bare feet n got my feet black.

The staffs were friendly n helpful. Location ..... It's better if u have a car otherwise it will not be too convenient to go to the town center tho the hotel provides shuttle service.

Great place, needed some R & R after some heavy sightseeing and touring with the British Lions. Location and found it hear. Pretty good only say 5 mins from the beach. Made good use of the Hotel tuk tuk. Breakfast ok but typically Asian.Other than that faultless many thanks to Pierre and his team

It was a ok place to stay for the money, however it was too far to walk for shopping and it was on the otherside of a busy road from the beach. For the same amount of money you can have both the shopping and beach access...which is why you are in Hua Hin right?

Great hotel for relaxing with free transport!

This hotel is not in the centre of Hua Hin but is still close to the Beach (200m) and offers a free taxi service to/from wherever you wish to go within a 5km radius. As transport for small trips can be relatively expensive and time consuming I would wholly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing location.

The Lapa - a hidden gem

This boutique hotel offers exceptional service and quality at a competitive price. The room condition and friendly staff complement the appealing setting which features a beautifully landscaped pool and grounds. The location of the hotel is south of the ciity center but only a short walk to the Gulf of Thailand and a quiet, flat, sandy beach. A wonderful breakfast is offered along with normal services including ground transportation to the center of Hua Hin which is approximately 1.5 miles to the north. Nearby shopping is relatively convenient if you care to walk.

Above and beyond!

We stayed 5 nights at the Lapa and had one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The rooms are modern and spacious, and impeccably clean. The hotel is slightly outside the main hub, however the complimentary shuttle service more than makes up for this. Staff will take you wherever you would like to go within Hua Hin, and will arrange a pickup time with you, so you don't need to worry about a taxi. Staff also took us on a wonderful day trip outside of Hua Hin for a very reasonable price. They are very eager to help, and we found there was no question they were unwilling or unable to answer. They also helped us to book tours and taxis with external Thai-speaking companies.

The resort grounds and facilities were superb - we swam in the pool almost every day despite not being pool people because it was just so nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent. For groceries and dinners we took the complementary shuttle to nearby Market Village shopping centre.

This resort has won several awards and it's really clear why - we were genuinely sad to leave.

The hotel itself was fine and pleasant. It has all you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday, the hotel and rooms have all the modern features for a very comfortable holiday. Buffet breakfast was nice and tasty and had a little bit of everything, no complaints there. It is situated about 2.5km from the city centre, so its not that far, I had rented a bicycle from the hotel for 300 tbaht a day which was perfect for me in terms of getting around. The hotel did also provide free transport to and from the city centre. The only thing I think needs improving is the english skills of their staff. It did get frustrating and found it hard to communicate with their staff because of the communication barrier.

The room and facility are clean, rooms are large with a big bath tub, but the water from bath tub was a bit yellow. Therefore i didnt take a bath but just shower. Breakfast on Sat and Sun is good with many local people stay there. However weekdays breakfast turn to table order, with just limit choice available. Hotel a bit far from the hua hin town area. The best service is free private car pick up service from anywhere in the town by just calling to the front desk. But the staff English proficiency need to improve as quite a lot of time they did not understand what i said. The swimming pool is also nice.

Nice hotel, value for money, but far from center.

The Lapa really gives you value for money. The hotel is nice, the rooms are big with an amazing bathroom. The balcony is usefull and equipped with a fan; if it is a hot day this is nice. The bed is huge and very good.

The hotel is located a bit far from the center of Hua Hin. We used taxi to get there and to back. The beach on the other side of the road is very good. It can be scary to cross the road the first times.

Great hotel not on the beach

The Lapa is a great hotel. Very clean rooms, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. It was a little over priced for not being on the beach. There are a lot of hotels in Hua Hin on the beach at the same standard as the Lapa. If I was to repeat my trip there I'd stay at the Lapa for a night or 2 and find a better spot while I was there to spend the rest of my time on the beach :-)

Satisfaction guaranteed

The first impressions of the 3 other people in my party were very reactionary. To say they (and myself) were blown away is an understatement. The major factors - the site, the building, the rooms, the gardens, the pool area - everything was easy on the eye. Cleanliness was a major factor, the staff were excellent throughout- charming and very helpful. The food was delicious. We edged into the relaxation zone from the 'off' and enjoyed the strong cosmopolitan atmosphere within.
As I stated at the top, my partners first reaction was to telephone her son in England and 'gush' about our choice of hotel. To put into perspective - on average we generally stay in 4 star hotels but this one really stood out. I am led to believe we were on a promotional tariff and we are grateful to Expedia and will certainly lock onto Expedia in future hotel searches.

Over-priced

The breakfast was very limited for half the time we stayed there. Apparently when occupancy is below a certain level you get a very basic low cost meal.
The level of service wasn't great either, it seemed like many of the staff were untrained.
On the positive side the rooms were quite nice and clean.
Overall you can get better value for this price in Thailand.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel

Having stayed in Hua Hin 4yrs ago at the Anantara we decided to go back to Hua Hin and stay at a different hotel.
The transfer is aprox 3 Hours which we emailed the hotel to organise.
They were very quick at responding to our request and the driver was waiting on our arrival.
On arriving at The Lapa Hotel we were greeted with a genuine smile and a nice cold drink which was Fantastic.
The hotel is on the busy main road but set back so the rooms and hotel area are quiet.
We had booked a Superior room which was exceptionally nice,very clean,Modern and spacious much to our delight.
The room they gave us was RM 301 which was on the 3rd floor and at the front of the building. It had a nice balcony which we liked to sit on in the evening and take in the surrounding sounds.
We took a look at some of the other rooms whilst there and thought they were all very nice but really happy with our room.
Breakfast was included which we had every morning and were never disappointed.
The pool area is very nice but quite enclosed which we personally found a little clostraphobic.
There is a beach across the road which can sometimes be difficult to cross. However the hotel offer a complimentary tuk tuk ride to other nearby beach's & the town but you will need to get a taxi back which is relatively cheap.
Whilst there we hired a moped to get around which is cheap and a great way to see everything.
We would recommend this hotel and would thank all the staff at The Lapa for making our holiday great.

Too Far from Beach in Hua Hin

I recently stayed at the Lapa Hotel in Hua Hin for a few days. The hotel has a very nice boutique appearance and feel to it. Price was fairly lower than most of the other hotels that I looked at in Hua Hin.

If you want to get away from it all and disappear this would be the place to go. However, if you are going to Hua Hin to spend time at the beach I would not recommend staying here. You need to cross a major road to get to the beach from the hotel and I would not recommend doing this especially if you have children. The hotel does not offer any complimentary shuttle service to/from the beach.

Frühstück okay, aber nichts, dass einem Umhaut. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit der schlimmsten Aussicht. Eine Blechwand vor dem Balkon um EG. Einigermassen sauber aber extremer Renovierung bedarf. Betten gut und Pool sehr schön.
Fazit nicht mehr in diesem Zimmer sonst okay.

Eerste kamer was donker en zonder terras. 2e kamer zeer ruim, supergoed bad en douche, maar volledig afgesloten terras.
5 ontbijt buffetten steeds met koude gerechten, stokbrood net rubber, niet te eten.
1 ochtend koffiemachine “vergeten” aan te zetten, dus koude koffie. De bestelde eigerechten maar half gebakken, je kon ze drinken.
Slechts 10 ligbedden aan het mooie zwembad met zeer dunne kussens.
Kamer zeer ruim en zeer net.

Hvis du skal have ro, vælg et andet hotel

Bedbugs, begge ben er bidt overalt. Sindssygt støjende hotel, da det ligger ved en mega trafikeret vej. Langt ind til byen.
Ingen ro at finde her. Så hvis du ønsker ro, find et andet sted.
Morgenmad god, og værelserne egentlig fine, bare mega støjende pga. biler.

Hotel confortable, très propre avec un accueil parfait. À côté du Blueport gros centre commercial et à proximité des restaurants et salon de massage. Plage à 150m. Très bonne adresse avec piscine agréable.

前台服務員極不禮貌和友善，酒店房間有霉味，房間設施不方便，淋浴和洗手間一東一西，每次都要走東走西，相片影出來沙發像泳池旁，去到才發現原來在房間門口，跟本不會坐在這裡曬太陽晚上回房間道路很黑暗，每次出門前都先開著房門前登，但晚上回來，每次已被關掉，每晚都是摸黑回去，下次去華欣一定不會再訂Lapa這間酒店，而且價格一點都不平宜。差差差

Nice hotel, highly recommend Pool Access room

I booked Pool Access room, room is nice and clear, breakfast is nice for me enough foods to have, staff was very helpful on everything i need and they are very nice.
But they should renew all of their towels, slipper... Suggest you brought your own if you need.

Rent, ingen roomservice, gode senge

Havde både en nat i den nyere og ældre del af hotellet. Begge værelser var rene og havde gode senge. Den ældre (forreste del af hotellet) del er dog en smule slidt.
Venligt personale, der desværre overser aflagte håndklæder og tomme flasker på hotelområdet. Meget atypisk er der ingen roomservice.

Hôtel agréable

Personnel accueillant,très serviable et souriant.Chambre propre,décoration agréable,équipements en bon état.Hôtel à côté du centre commercial Blueport(supermarché,restaurants,cafés,boutiques,banques,cinéma,animation),il n'y a qu'a traverser la rue.La plage est à 5mn à pied.

本人入全一晚，房間很細，花洒頭是壞的，最差是服務方面，我知是12:00 要check out, 但在的士上還塞車中， 11:50 我已打回洒店通知因塞車途中，會遲大約30分鐘退房，前台問我行理已是否執好，我說未，但30分鐘應該可退房，我趕到回酒店竟然職員在我房間搭我的行李，完全不能接受

不會再住的酒店

酒店是小型酒店，第一天 standard rm 房間很細和隔音極差，第二天入住pool access 竟然説fully book , 比了一間地下園林房，完全不是pool access 房間，我和職員表示我不能接受，我是一知月前預訂及已全數付款，於是他們才升級為池畔套房，服務生很少，泳池的毛巾要自己到大堂拿，酒店的接駁車經常取，還叫你自己打車，門鎖壞了又維修多次才弄好

とても綺麗でショッピングモール隣接の便利なホテル

客室は快適な広さで、清潔でした。
すぐ隣にブルーポートというショッピングモールがあるので買い物や食事には困りません。
またホテルが無料で近隣施設に送り迎えしてくれるので便利でした。
