We went here after a disappointing one night stay at the completely run down Movenpick hotel few miles north from the Intercontinental. Unlike our frustrating experience at Movenpick at ICH we were met by an extraordinary staff, well appointed rooms and a superb breakfast among the many highlights. Connected to the mall and walking distance from town or a short ride on a tuk-tuk . We will definitely be back.

The highlight of our stay was the beautiful pool area, which was very relaxed, with a lovely view of the sea. The staff was amazing and helpful--especially Som and Arm at the front desk, and Riley, the manager of the Italian restaurant Azure, where we dined twice during our weekend stay. Breakfast was great, with a huge array of food. A very relaxing trip.

The staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and do their best to make your holiday memorable. We celebrated an anniversary and the staff gave us cake, rose petals in hearts on the bed and generally created a special event.

We stayed in the club rooms (6303) which was huge and we could see the ocean which was lovely. There was no wet smell in the room from air con so that was great. The room had everything we need and a nice outdoor balcony with a day bed. Big screen tv and you can log in to Netflix. Lots of good tv options. Room service is 24 hours too.

The club lounge is nice but food wasn’t to my liking however drinks and service were excellent and the lounge offers multiple meals such as breakfast, afternoon tea and evening food.
I’d avoid the avocado on toast (a very poor unloved dish) and be careful of how long the food may be left out. But overall a really nice upgrade.

The pool area is fantastic and right on the beach but the water was too cold to swim at this time of year unfortunately. Lots of sun beds, swim up pool bar and music.

The train provides a fun aspect for kids and the hotel is probably more skewed to adults than kids but still a great place for families.

Check in / out was easy and it’s central. You can walk across the road to a shopping centre for food or massages and money exchange.

Transport is easy and there’s lots of markets and good restaurants nearby.

Overall we had a fantastic 6 days here and I’d recommend the hotel and staff.

Amazing views, super convenient as they also have a shopping mall nearby. The pool area is clean, room is nice. Only thing I’d recommend to improve on is the phone doesn’t seems to work when we tried to call room service. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of selection, staff are really helpful. We will definitely come back again. Family and couple friendly hotel. Oh! They are pet friendly too with a dog swimming pool!

However it seems that level of standard has been dropped when compare to our previous visited such as there were a lots of mosquitoes in the room and not well prepared for pool side bed (it was still wet and covered). Be warned that if you book the standard room, they put you on the other side of the road!
I complained and was offered an upgrade for a discounted rate (which was clearly quite a sneaky way for the assigned staff to earn their commissions. (As they do with upgrades)
The room they finally put us in was great though and the stay was very comfy. Probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in here. Recommend but ONLY if you stay away from the standard rooms,

The location is in the center of Hua hin which means you are in a busy area. If you like light and sound, this place is good...and definitely not for a person who want a quiet vacation. The hotel is nice, however I paid extra for the club and aspect partial ocean view room...which it is completely fraud. No view nothing...it is garden or pool view. I just got club access which I plan myself staying in balcony with some ocean view. Only some not whole....compared to the rate and what I ve got, dont think it is worth to pay. Breakfast is so-so. Service is good, amenties are good...but i want beach vacation...not city vacation.

Not like a 5 stars hotel with lots of wears and tears. Dust seen on floor skirts and corners. Broken sockets, sticky balcony door....Cleaning staff are rough and fast, the way to clean made me eye opening, no common sense and hygienic standard. The landscape is terrible, cannot compare to another resort starts with H. Disappointing.

We had a family trip in Hua Hin. The first impression was not a wow cos it is a bit smaller than I expected. However, after staying 5 nights, we realized the staff are helpful and nice. IC Hua Hin offers free access to the waterpark where we enjoyed a lot.

A fantastic resort- the property directly on the beach is wonderful with a lot of amenities without being too big and the service at the pool is fantastic. The resort is split into two properties connected by a walkway across the main road. While the amenities are concentrated on the beach property, the other property has a pool (ok, but not as nice as the pool at the beach property) and direct access to the mall, which has a lot of shopping and dining options.

Great hotel but not so suitable with baby

Check in was very welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff. With welcome drinks etc.
The hotel is seperated into 2 wings. One is the main one opposite blueport shopping center. Another one is beside blueport shopping center. Ours was at the opposite side, we didnt realise there was traffic light crossing until the last day, before that we had to walk through overhead bridge with the stroller which was stressful.
The breakfast was expensive but great variety
The hotel has 2 choice of baby cots- playpen and wooden cots. We chose the wooden cots but it was soooo soooo sooooo noisy! The moment baby moves the sound goes... Reallly disturbing to sleep.
The facilities in the room is superb! Clean and comfortable! Totally enjoyed it. However sound proofing is kind of bad... We were so worried that our baby wake others up.
Lastly , the swimming pool closes pretty early which is kind of sad because we wanted to bring the baby go for walk in the pool after sunsets but its closed. Would be great if the hours can be extended.
Childrens playroom is big and staff there were super friendly and helps us out with our little one.

We had a great time here with our 4-yr old. The staff are warm and welcoming and our little one had a great time in the different pool sections and also at Planet Trekkers.

Sirapat, the Concierge, was very helpful and gave us some great tips to make the most of our trip.

The food options at the property are limited, but very good. The Blu Port mall is across the hotel and has some fantastic food options.

Overall, we had a great time with our little one at this property.

The staffs are nice and helpful. They helped a lot for arranging my birthday trip. Services are very good. The hotel is nice and close to the beach with a good relaxing swimming pool. The breakfast with variety of choice. The room is cozy with a big balcony. They got a tub bath, yet water is a bit yellowish. Otherwise no other complains. Once again, the staff are so good.

Have stayed in Intercon Samui as well, gotta say Hua Hin Intercon is superb! Very relaxing environment, nice architectural and interior design. Most friendly staff ever, always wearing a smile. If you go on weekend, must join the beachfront bbq! Very nice live music. There are a lotta big chain hotel with all facilities in place but not many can maintain this friendly and personal touch from the staff. I really like it. Also, Eve and the head chef came to invite myself and my mum to join the beachfront bbq which turns out to be an awesome experience indeed. They are really sincere and let us know the tide is low that day which would be perfect for a dinner on beach. Also, as the chef has guaranteed, the food is excellent, combined with the live music as well. The Thai singer singers really really well I must say. And she sang us a few Cantonese songs on knowing that we are from Hong Kong. She sets the perfect mood for the beachfront bbq. Also wanna thanks the front desk staff who has given me an upgrade upon check in, she can speaks mandarin so well! And she is very sincere when leading me to the room and ask me to go watch sunrise- which I did- and it was a splendid experience ! Will return again on my next visit to Hua Hin! There is also free shuttle bus to a nearby water park if u want some thrill and excitement!

Pool area was amazing. Perfect for a family with kids, or a couple looking to relax. We ate at the Thai restaurant on-site, and it was really good. It's a great resort with great amenities. Good condition. The only thing to note is that there are two buildings. One is close to the beach front. The other is set back a few hundred meters and behind the main road. There is a pedestrian bridge, but you do have to walk a little to get to the main building. No complaints from us, as we like to walk. If you want to be in the main building, be prepared to spend more.

This Resort is all about relaxing which, given that Hua Hin can be quite hectic, is achieved superbly. There's a great pool area with lots of different parts to it ... all very peaceful. And the beach is right outside. And a great shopping centre directly across the road. If you're looking at maps and notice this resort is a bit south of what looks to be the centre of town, put your concerns away. There's no need to be anywhere other than in this little area

Really great property. Every amenity you can think of. The room was super comfortable, room service excellent, staff terrific. Be forewarned, though, that as with almost all big chains, if you book through a 3rd-party web site, you won't get loyalty program credit from the chain. The beach in this part of town is nice, but you are a bit far away from the city center, so need to grab a tuk-tuk or sorngtaw.

The Intercontinental Hua Hin is a nice hotel once you get past the unatractive exterior located right on the busy highway.
The rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean and well maintained. The pool and beach areas are top notch. The entire staff was very attentive and professional. We ate all meals in the hotel restaurants, and the food and service were both excellent.

My second time staying here and it was just as good as I remembered it. Being recognized by the hotel manager from my last stay was particularly nice. It hasn't been that long since my previous stay so not much really changed. Service however remained excellent. The room and the resort grounds were world class in terms of condition and appointment. The resort restaurants are excellent but a bit pricey. I didn't take advantage of the 24/7 room service but it was nice to know it was available. Breakfast service was excellent too.
