The best thing about this hotel is that it is right on the beach - not a long walk like some other properties. My least favorite part was the cheap breakfast - no pancakes, French toast, or bacon. The Bluport Mall is out the front gate and across the street to the right.

I stay here every time I come to town. This is a very very nice place. It’s usually very quiet as it sits far back off the main road. Unfortunately for me, there was a large and loud group of people staying my last night there. I did not get to sleep till about 3 am.
Very nice place to stay and I will definitely stay again.

Love this hotel. Have stayed a few times and extended our last stay. Location is perfect, on the beach and across from Blue Port Mall. Lots of dinning options but the restaurant in the hotel is very good. The hotel is old but we’ll looked after and very comfortable. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Had the best meal in the Sailom restaurant. Huge shrimp, bay scallops and an assortment of deep fried and stir fried Morning Glory. The waiter kept filling the ice bucket with Leo Beer.....

This hotel was a great surprise to find. It’s an old school style, family run hotel that caters to your needs. Has a great restaurant on site. Two pools and direct access to the beach. The hotel staff was wonderful.

Inconvenience to transport baggages from lobby up the stairs to the lift. A diagonal ramp could be useful for both hotel employees and customers.

The restaurant is fantastic, obviously specialising in Seafood. The staff must be well looked after as they all seemed happy and well adjusted. The facilities have a slightly worn look. For example the salt Swimming Pool walls need re-grouting but is still enjoyable to wallow in.

Rooms were lovely. Cleaned everyday with fresh linens and towels. The cleaning staff couldn’t be faulted. Situated right on the beach. Two beautiful pools. Sun beds on the beach rather close together. Much better by the pools. Breakfast choices rather limited. Adequate. Food a little disappointing and quite expensive for lunch and dinner. Very few places to walk to but the Bluport shopping complex just across the road was a huge plus.

Very nice beach, nice Hotel, 2 swimming pools very nice, for nice and good shopping only cross the street there is a big shopping centre (belongs to \"the Mall\" Company), Bus connection to Central Hua Hin very good and cheap (public transportation not taxi). Has a lot of nice places to visit. Then the food is awesome. My daughter, my wife and I we definitely would choose again this hotel.

Lovely hotel with excellent friendly staff. It's one of the older hotels in Hua Hin but has been well maintained. Not all staff have perfect English but they make 100% effort to please. Some of the staff have been with this hotel for over 30 years! The rooms are spacious and the location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the new Bluport mall. The grounds are well maintained. Very nice breakfast buffet. 2 pools and lounge beds on the beach provided by the hotel. We found some guests who have been coming to this place for over 20 years and we will most definitely be back.

Beautiful beach and a charming chill out hideaway

This is a lovely hotel, yes she's old and perhaps could use a small refurb - but the ease at how she runs, the amazing staff and superb beach makes this a real find, and not the huge towering hotels nearby but a low-rise unique character! Definitely recommend upgrading to Deluxe room - these rooms are significantly better! Thank you to the staff, who couldn't have been more helpful and attentive, and very kind... I'll be back soon! Only downside - Internet was really poor!

Very good location and excellent beach front.

Must come again and again. As a family, recommend to make a reservation for 2 adults and pay extra for additional 1 adult or addition 2 children at the front desk, you will get the better rate. The beds provided are big enough for 3 adults. The food is great. The restaurant located beside the beach is very cozy for every meals.

Nice hotel in lovely garden setting by the beach

Nice big room with plenty of seating options and storage for luggage etc. Beautiful gardens running down to one of the best spots on the fabulous Hua Hin beach, close to Kiteboarding or just lazing in the warm water. Two nice pools, plus lovely breakfast and meals with generally helpful staff (some with limited English). Some distance out from the hustle of the town centre but taxi available at the hotel for cheap rate and staff can organise motor bike hire.

As a middle aged / older couple we would love to return, but hotel/location should also suit those a little younger.

Good location to beach and Hua Hin bus station.

The hotel is right on the beach and is about 400 metres walk away from the main bus station in Hua Hin. Hotel rooms were a little aged, but were clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast area and main restaurant also could do with a makeover.

Sailom has the best staff of any hotel I have stayed in. The restaurant has earned the reputation of the best food in hua hin and it is well deserved . Sailom has a wide beach with direct access with chairs and umbrellas where you will find me year after year . I can't wait to go again.

sailom hotel meaning windy

The hotel is the second oldest hotel in hua hin so is not a high rise building like the others around. It is an easy going hotel in amongst the trees and right on the sea front. Two pools one being sea water. Staff are wonderful although they dont speak much english not even at reception. Wheel chair accessible except onto the beach. The restaurant and bar close on the dot of 10pm so no nigjt life for young people. Tuk tuks are just outside the gate and cost 100bht to town. Laundry was just down the road and cheaper than the hotel. We loved the hotel in fact we stayed on another week. The only thing I think the hotel should think about is having proper chairs in the dining room and not plastic chairs.. they have wooden chairs in the pool area which is quite unnecessary. You can have as many towels as you like free of charge for beach and pool. Also free bed and mattress for beach which is given to you as you get ti the beach so no booking of beds!

The Sailom was exactly as expected from previous reviews - an old hotel in need of some face lifts but with attentive staff, clean rooms, and a private beach. For the price you can't beat it when you factor in the private beachfront (with chairs and umbrellas!)

Quiet Beachfront

The staff was extremely helpful in every request I had. Good English skills. The property itself was beautiful and charming. This is not your typical square, boxy hotel room. The décor was a bit outdated but the rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurant was good.

We did not try the salt water pool but it was beautiful. The regular pool was very nice. Could have had a few more lounge chairs. This hotel is right on the beach. It was very clean and the beach attendants very helpful in getting you a chair and umbrella.

Horse back riding, massage and manicure and pedicure offered on the beach by independent vendors. We rode horses, the people were very nice and reasonable cost.

We booked for adjoining rooms for ourselves and another couple. We were assured that the rooms would overlook the beach. The rooms we received were in a building adjacent to the main hotel...and overlooked a parking lot. Instead of the queen size bed requested we ended up with two double beds. The shower had no hot water which, we were advised, could not be fixed. Had to continually request fresh hand towels. The bath towels were threadbare.
Attempts to communicate with staff, especially those at the lobby desk, were generally met with a quizzical \"we don't understand\" expression and an even more frustrating effort for staff to offer the slightest assistance or answer any questions!

Good position on the beach

The hotel as a very good position on the beach. It has 2 pools,1 pool doesn't get the sun but has the best sun beds. The other has the sun all day, unfortunately the beds were not very good and were dirty.
The restaurant for food was ok. But the breakfast were very poor. The same things everyday. Fried eggs were not appetising these were cooked in advance and were cold, as was the bacon. No other hot food such as tomatoes,beans,omelettes.

Reasonable hotel but poor breakfast

The hotel has a good location, right on the beach, although we did not use the beach because there were no umbrellas and we saw jelly fish in the sea so decided not to swim there. The hotel (like most of the other hotels) is on a busy dual carriage way so we got taxis to the centre each evening (about 5 minutes drive). The rooms were comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the larger of the two swimming pools which was very quiet and very relaxing.

The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast and we were not very impressed by the dinner either. At breakfast the hotel compared very badly with the hotels we stayed in in Thailand. The fruit selection consisted of tasteless, dried up melon or pineapple (we had a fabulous selection in our other hotels). There were only 2 cereals to choose from. The fried eggs were baked or cold and the bacon was cooked to a cinder. The hot food was not replaced frequently enough. The staff did not clear any plates until you left the table, even though they were piling up around us. Although the staff were pleasant, they did not offer the type of service and helpfulness we had received elsewhere.

Our room was advertised as having two Queen-sized beds but had two small doubles. It was also stated to overlook garden and ocean but the room was not near the ocean nor could the ocean be seen without walking about 80 metres from the room first. The staff stated that this was a problem with the booking agency and did not offer us an alternative room. The location is nice with a restaurant overlooking the ocean and not too far from central Hua Hin

Great older hotel, for families, solo or couples.

Older hotel but very well maintained, and an outstanding location. Right on the beach, the restaurant overlooks the beach, and they let you charge your meals and pay at the end of your stay.
May nationalities and families stayed there. It is surrounded by plusher places which I expect were much more money, but we found this place outstanding for our needs.

This hotel is located on a nice stretch of beach and is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. There are two pools which are clean and there are lots of deck chairs. The hotel restaurant looks over the beach and is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The buffet breakfast which was included in the room rate was excellent. The rooms are a decent size and the bathroom has a large shower and is quite modern. The beds were good.
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. There is an extra charge for wi-fi.

Good beach hotel for the price

A little out of the way, but hotel will provide transport into town for 50 baht...rooms were decent for the price but because the hotel is only 4 stories, the surrounding trees are too tall to have a 'sea view'.

Breakfast buffet was nice and had lunch one day as well which was also good but beware of 'service charge' of 10% plus VAT which added up quickly for food.

Overall would stay again, hotel is right on the beach and for the price, can't beat the deal!

Great family oriented hotel. Very friendly staff. Nice location with direct access to the beach. Nice relaxed place for a weekend but too few food options nearby for a longer stay. Shopping (e.g. the night market) requires a car or a taxi ride. We had a car. Would stay again because of value for money in relation to rooms and location.

Väldigt gammalt hotell, rummet var som att kliva in i 70 talet, det enda som var modernt var smart tv.n.
Frukosten var inte värd att betala för, bra köpcentrum nära med billig och bra mat, annars väldigt lugnt, tråkigt område.
Stranden är ren och fin, Suanson beach är mysigare dock med träd som ger naturlig skugga. Familjevänligt.

It was a lovely hotel a bit dated but direct beach access decent sized rooms .
The breakfast was basic but I was only charged extra 40 baht on hotels so worth it .
The restaurant food is the stand out and we ate there a lot .more than any other hotel I have stayed in and I travel internationally at least 4 times a year about 20’jotels or more . Fantastic food , great range and high quality. Fast delivery and couldn’t fault it .
We bought a house here and will go back for dinner and take friends it was that good of a range and quality.

Hyggelig hotell på stranden. God mat i restauranten. Harde senger og puter. Kom til å ødelegge en glassplate på en hylle. Måtte ut med 2500 the for dette noe som er sinnsykt overpriset. Fikk heller ikke kvittering når jeg betalte beløpet. Dette ødela helhetsinntrykket dessverre.

Greit hotell. Med hyggelig betjening. Hotellet er gammelt og slitt. Det var mye vegetasjon som gjorde at det var en del insekter. Litt dyrt i forhold til nyere hotell i nabolaget. Maten i restauranten var bra men frokosten egner seg ikke for europeere. Veldig asiatisk preget frokost. Området mot sjøen far fylt opp med spisebord. Så man må sitte på stranda eller ved bassenget uten utsikt.

立地の良さが光る

ホアヒン旅行時に2泊滞在しました。建物はかなり年季が入っていますが、立地の良さと清潔感が光ります。

⚫︎良かった点
・ビーチ沿いの立地。ビーチを見ながらの朝食は満足度が高い。またブルーポートショッピングモールもすぐ。
・親切な従業員。
・建物は古いが清潔感のある部屋。

⚫︎イマイチな点
・朝食のメニューが少ない。

新しさや豪華さとは無縁ですが、総じて満足度の高いホテルです。

Trevlig personal, mycket rent och bra läge med solstolar på stranden ! Dock behov av modernisering, ständigt problem med gamla toaletter.

Väldigt fint nära stranden

Ett väldigt trevligt hotell med bra personal. Den stora tomten ligger mot stora vägen men hotellbyggnaderna ligger en bit in. Mycket nära till Bluport och även till lokalbussarna. Hotellet har två pooler med solstolar.

Man har också solstolar på stranden nedanför hotellet, stolansvarig fixar stolar och parasoll.

Frukosten är bra och renligheten på hotellet lämnar inget att önska. Vad gäller hållbarhet finns faktiskt soptunnor för matavfall och allmänt nere vid stranden, tyvärr sorterar inte folk ordentligt.
