I came in near the end and the dining room manager kept asking if I wanted more food as he was breaking down the buffet. I felt like I was having breakfast in the home of a beloved relative.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Probably smaller than most Americans would be used to. However big enough to adequately attend to your basic travel needs. The rooms furnishings are beginning to show a bit of wear, so hopefully a renovation will be happening soon.
For a sole traveler, I would gladly stay here again.

The hotel is situated in a popular tourist area. It was very clean and comfortable, with shops and historic landmarks just a short walk away. The breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was that the air conditioning cooled only one room, resulting in uneven temperatures between the two rooms.

This property is along a main route, the bedrooms are adequate and clean, we had four adults sharing room so it was tight. The rooms are small no natural direct light. Great for a short stay with no frills.

It was a walking distance from the city center (apprx. 12 minutes) and souvinour shops (7-8 min.) etc. El Hambra took appx. 20-25 minutes by foot. Clean place and good breakfast. Single rooms are small, but if ypu are not going to spend much time in the room, then it is OK. the best sides of the hotel was the location (as I like walking but located somewhere that you can get back and out to/from hotel during the day when needed) and the breakfast.

Great base for visiting Granada
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel which is located near a cafe, the train station, an exceptional laundromat and a central bus stop which was all we needed. We had a room with a terrace which I recommend if you want a bit of extra space. Staff was top notch and room was very clean. Can't comment on breakfast because we took it elsewhere.

hotel site is within walking distance of local tourist attractions except Alhambra. There is a bus nearby hotel that will take tourist up to Alhambra in 10-15 minutes. Room and furniture dated, some issue with starting shower. There is no mini refrigerator in hotel room so will not be able to keep water bottles cold. Hotel does have vending machine to buy water bottles however. overall good value if traveling on budget

We booked a family suite room with 4 adults to stay. The room we received was a one king size bed. Now sure how they figured that 4 adults could sleep in one bed. Went downstairs they gave another room with same configurations.

Very convenient for our one night stay in Granada in route to the Sierra Nevada ski resort, the walk from the train station with luggage was no issue. 10 minute walk to old Granada down the Gran Via to all the restaurants and shops. Walls are a bit thin between rooms, so your neighbors can feel very close. The heat was central and not adjustable, we had to keep the window open.

My stay here was very positive. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the room heaters worked when I wanted it to, with ease of use, which was so important in the cold winter. Service was polite, attentive and speedy. Internet connection was a little spotty at times, but not a huge deal. Location is just diagonally locates from Plaza de España.

Air conditioning was poor in the family room: only covered the 2 beds in sitting area! We expected it to cool up overnight. But it did not happen. We were not properly informed. Staff justified it by saying that to be due to a large room! Disappointing as it was very warm: 36 degrees!

The hotel is a dated hotel that is close enough by Taxi to Al Hambra and Al Baycin. Family rooms are spacious and clean. OK for a short Gradana stay. Parking is quite tight and difficult to access. Not much an Expedia Gold advantage.

One of the worst hotel stay experiences of my life. First of all - we had paid for a double room with a tub. When we got there - they gave us a choice between a twin room with a tub or a double room with shower only. Second - the hotel was supposedly 4-star - but it felt more like a 2-star overall quality wise. But the worst part - was the thinness of the walls and we were surrounded by the most obnoxious hotel guests ever. You could literally hear your neighbors use the toilet. And they were laughing and singing until the wee hours. Absolutely awful. Impossible to sleep. The bathroom had a terrible layout and you had to squeeze your way into the toilet corner. Only window led into a 4-wall concrete courtyard. And the staff had no options to offer. Overall - terrible. Will not recommend and would never go back.

The first room was very uncomfortable due to poor air conditioning and I find it highly inconvenient and disturbing to have been forced to change rooms in the middle of the night. The second room was not entirely comfortable yet still marginally better than the first, with its ineffective air conditioning, inaccessible toilet and the fused lightbulbs. The breakfast was satisfactory to a certain degree such as with the fresh fruit and croissants, however we experienced mouldy bread, expired butter and a rather questionable-tasting omelette. Overall, I cannot honestly recommend this hotel.

It was a great hotel except for my two complaints below. Location is great and we walked or rode the bus everywhere and it's just outside of the tourist radius, 1/3 mile from the fountain of Isabella, .75 miles to Alhambra. Here are my two complaints, 1) radiator style heat and it's only turned on after 9pm and it was cold in the morning. Unacceptable! We arrived when it was rainy and cold outside, I would have liked more heat. Fortunately better weather arrived by the 2nd day. 2) The internet was horrible. You could connect to wifi but the internet took forever for anything to load that I gave up trying. The coffee shops down the street had fast internet, why not this hotel!! With those two complaints I rated it a 3 but if the issues were fixed I'd give it 5 stars. Would I recommend it, yes as long as those two issues are not top priorities. Again as I mentioned the room was fantastic and clean WITH a balcony. No complaints on the staff or room.

Very helpful and friendly staff all around. Clean hotel, good breakfast buffet, easy access to cabs, public transport, tours, walking distance to great restaurants, sights, shopping, and monuments. The only thing is that room 512's toilet and bidet are so close to the wall that anyone would have difficulty sitting down to do their business.

Our one night stay in the Hotel Macia Condor was very comfortable. The beds were not too hard, the bedding and towels were of good quality, and the bathroom was large. Our room was quiet and the a/c worked well. The reception staff was courteous and helpful. The walk from the train station was 15 minutes, and about 25-30 minutes to the cathedral. The were lots of places to eat and see along the beautiful Gran Via.

Nice hotel about 1 km from city centre.
Friendly staff, part of them speak English very well and part of them so-so. They explained how to visit the look-out point at Albaicin using the C-1 minibus, plus how to reach Alhambra by C-3 (would recommend this option to everybody, cheap and effective).
Had a rental car and could use the hotel's garage for a surcharge. However reaching the hotel by car was a nightmare as the Avenida de constitucion is closed to general traffic in direction to the city center (fact unknown to the navigation system in my phone) and had to drive around some pretty obscure streets to finally reach the hotel from a side road.
Our room had poor ventilation, the toilet had none. The window opened into an inner small patio where cigarette smoke from nearby rooms was coming.
The hotel had been party renovated however there is a lot to be improved.
Don't be mislead by the picture describing this hotel - yes there is a sun terrace and a gym on the uppermost floor, but they are locked (go down to the reception and ask for the key) and the sun terrace overlooks some really ugly roofs plus it is really tiny. So is the gym, three people maximum.

Beautiful hotel in abeautiful section of town
It is located on the most beautiful avenue in town. Hotel is 4 star by US standard, beautiful hallways, spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. Taxi costed 7 euro to the alhambra. We took the minibus c3 to the final stop where there is a plaza and tons of nice restaurants and then walked back to hotel on the beautiful colon avenue. It was a pleasant 10 min stroll. Wifi worked fine.

Book this hotel for my parents as they came to granada to visit me. First room was small and dark so they asked if they could be moved to another room with a view and a balcony. The staff was very helpful and found a room with a balcony. They moved my parents luggage the day after with no extra cost. Breakfast is a bit overpriced considering what you can get from local coffee shops. The car park is tiny and it costs £18 a day but its worth it as theres no many car parks in Granada.

To be honest, it was nothing like a four star hotel. A bit shabby, out-dated furniture, old carpets, small (double!) bed, no English language film channels, a tiny TV, and the room itself was somewhat small. I would no go back.

I don't know what about this hotel makes it 4 stars. Seems more like 2 stars. Old uncomfortable beds, rooms, and bathrooms, oridinary sheets, small tvs, no fridge, you name it. Do not be decieved by the photos displayed on the website. Additionally, hotel offers no free parking. You need to pay anywhere from 12-22 Euros a night for nearby Parking garages, and the hotel will charge you 11 Euros for breakfast per person. Even though they tell you it's free, it is not! Beware. Pros of this hotel are the wifi and breakfast selection. Other than that, I would just save your money and book at a budget hotel nearby.

The hotel is well located. Walking distance to the major attraction and the train station, which was a plus for us. Staff at front desk were really friendly and helpfull. Overall a really nice stay for my family ( we have to teenagers 14 and 16).

We had a family room for 4. The main problem we faced was the air conditioning which was in the room with the extra beds and not in the main bedroom (beware Spain is very hot in August). Upon request, the hotel staff provided us with a fan which helped. We were told that there would be a refrigerator in the room but there wasn't. The hotel staff allowed us to put our food in the restaurant's fridge. It's an easy walk to the train station and you can catch a bus with one connection to the Alhambra just across the street (your bus ticket is good for 45 minutes to allow for transfers).

OK, but some issues
While you can do much worse than this hotel, its location to the sites of Granada is a bit wanting and while our room was comfortable enough, it showed its age. Based on the number of tourist buses that were dropping off and picking up guests, I assume it is one of the typical hotels that cater to organized groups and that kind of traffic builds up. I have no real complaints about this hotel, but the next time I visit Granada I will look elsewhere. My biggest problem, as is often the case in Spain, is that there were no power outlets other than one that was not in use by the room's amenities.

We only stayed one night at the Condor, as our family of four visited Granada. We all shared a family quad unit, which was fine and convenient for our quick visit. Location was convenient and easily walkable (10-15 minutes) to the central tourist sites we were there to see. Staff were helpful for directions and small requests we made.

Dont get a \"Standard\" room
You will face the inside of a brick box if you get the standard room. For the rate, it was not worth it at all. Your view is bricks. The staff was clueless, the location is nothing special as its a fairly long walk to the tourist stuff. You have to pay 2.50 euros per day for the safe key. There is no way this place can be the best for the money in Granada. No way.

The staff were excellent, giving information on how to get to places etc. There is free internet, and an underground car park (although you have to pay extra) Staff will park the car for you. Room service was speedy. Would definitely recommend it especially as it was well-priced.

This hotel is not too far ( 500 meters ?)from the train station - but you need to know how to reach there by foot. This Hotel is close ( 60 meters, out of hotel turn left you will see at bus station, next to the regular bus station, there is a sign shows airport bus and the schedule as early as 5:30 in the morning ) to one of the airport bus stop, so it's 3 euro to or from the airport which is a kind of faraway ( 20 to 30 minutes bus drive time ).

Easy accesss (by GPS) when driving into Granada. Helpful staff. Parking availabel at extra cost worthwhile to forget about the car while in Granada. The hotel is an exelent value for the however, \"a little tired\" to be a 4 * Mini bus #32 that we took about two blacks away took us to the Alhambra, and the Cathedral areas for 1.30 eruros. Seems that there is enough public transport not to worry about the car and the taxis are not expensive. A recomendation... If you have a chance and feel about having a GREAT dinner for a VERY reasonable price, go to Casa Lopez Correa at Calle de los Molinos, 5. The owner, an English expat that lived in Italy for many years runs the open kitchen and overlooks everything that goes to the tales. Meu del dia, Tapas & Raciones as well as a cocktail menu with an Italian falvour. Only about 8 tables and 8-9 stools at the bar. Not far from the \"cathedral\" arean and minibus #32 dives by it. Have the concierge call ahead of time and try to reserve... As I mentioned, it's a small place but a great experience. Oh... I forgot, for breafast, around the corner Cafeteria El Tren (about 100 yards tops) good continental breakfast and fresh squeezed orange juice beats the buffet breakfast at the hotel, great value.

Great location, parking available. Right off of main street, walking distance to litle downtown area with shops and restaurants and main cathedral. Expect tiny rooms with tiny bathrooms! - but this is Europe in general.

Good hotel, rooms at back very quiet so expect a good nights sleep. However no view as the windows open to an inner courtyard. First room offered had bad drains but this was immediately rectified with alternative. Then the restaurant was full with 2 coach trips so we had long delay before seat was available. Breakfasts were OK but nothing special. Good hotel but not excellent.

We were very disappointed in with this hotel. Our room was small, shabby and dark. The view from the small window was a concrete wall. The bathroom was tiny. The photos on the hotel website are misleading. We asked if we could be transferred to another room but were firmly told that this wasn't a possibility because the hotel was fully booked. I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very pleasant staff, hotel was clean, renovated with a modern look. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean but a little small compared with American standards. The hotel checkout policy is not very flexible however they hold luggage till late in the day if needed. Internet WIFI is available at no cost.
