The room was very nice.
Breakfast was great and Marina a nd the chef were very friendly.
There isn't a bar so relaxing at the end of the day in the hotel isn't an option.
They allow dogs and unfortunately for us there was a very noisy dog one night kept us awake til nearly midnight. We complained, the staff apologised and checked, the dog was checking out that morning.
Other than that, a nice hotel.

The hotel is well kept and clean, we love the daily breakfast with good variety and choices. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting Granada city centre and nearby to Alhambra.

Our only comment is that the hotel sign needs to be lit up and more prominent. For an out of town visitors, we drove around twice before noticing the hotel.

Unexpected Stay

Allegro was booked as it was nearby hospital where my husband was taken after a fall in Granada. He needed surgery and a two day stay turned into 12 days. The staff were a great help and very understanding as I had to book my room on a day to day basis. I felt safe and secure while I was there on my own. The restaurant and cafeteria food was lovely especially the cafeteria as it was just enough for me. The rooftop pool was a lovely relaxing place after a day spent in the hospital

Allegro hotel was good, staff were very helpful. Daily house keeping was good.
Maybe this is a Europe thing, but the only downside for us was that there was no flannels or face wash cloths, which is disappointing.

We had an amazing stay at the Allegro Hotel in Granada. Even tho the hotel is a little bit further away from the center, you can easily walk to the center and there’s plenty of options for dinning and shopping around. We loved our room, it was modern, nice and clean. Definitely will recommend!

Its a good clean hotel about a 15 minute walk from the center. There are bus services going past nearby but unless you know which routes to use, not much help. Staff were very helpful, pleasant and couteous. Breakfast buffet has a good variety. There are a few restaurants and Tapas bars within a block or two, all pleasant. The rooftop pool was not available for use and seemed to be awaiting repairs.
The room had soap and shower gel but no other frills. The mini fridge was set to minimum and barely kept things cool. The weather outside was warm, but not enough to need the use of the airconditioner, so can't comment on that. The bed was comfortable and large but just on the slightly 'soft' side of firm. Overall a good hotel.

We stayed 4 days during which my wife was sick and could not leave the hotel for 2 full days. there is a restaurant open for breakfast only. Other that that a small selection from a vending area - crisps, sandwiches, Chocolates & a coffee machine. There is no ability to make tea or coffee in the room and they could not provide a kettle. I do not understand why this is a 4* hotel. It does not have the amenities to deserve this rating

Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and spacious room.
Breakfast buffet had a decent selection of foods, just very poor coffee machines.
Main negative point was the extortionate tariff to use the hotel car park, so I preferred to leave it in a free public car park a few minutes' walk away.

Convenient and Clean

This was a fantastic location for us. A short walk in either direction to the Bus Station or beautiful shops and restaurants. The door to the hallway is a bit thin therefor the hallway noise travels through however the walls seemed better. The bathroom shower set up made water spray everywhere as there was a glass partition with a huge whole. We loved that the room had a nice window for fresh air as well. The bed and pillows were just right and they happily gave me another blanket to feel warm under.

Relaxing hotel convenient for the centre

The hotel was well run, clean and staff were attentive( particularly the breakfast staff) . It was situated in a quieter part of the city but is accessible by the number 8 bus which runs every 10 minutes. Walking is about 20 minutes but easier to walk into than out. More use could be made of the bar facilities and outside as it is little impersonal. Overall excellent hotel and we would return.

Trip to Alhambra!

This is a hotel that ticked all the boxes for a few days sight seeing around Granada. It's not flash but provides very good accommodation and helpful staff. Although not central it was a 1.40 Euro bus (number 8) ride in to the centre. Taxis' were also very reasonable or walkable if you wished. getting to tourist sights within the city will probably require a taxi, due to step hills etc! We did not have breakfast at t he hotel, but there are plenty of very well priced cafes in the area. Food and drink were generally well priced even in the main part and/or tourist destinations. Alhambra is a must but there are also lots of other places to see. A show at Casa del Arte Flemenco is also something to see and drive up to Capileira in Sierra Nevada for great views and lunch!

Good and comfortable hotel

We stayed 1 night at the hotel, as a stopover to visit the Alhambra. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and everything was brand new. The bathroom was clean and also comfortable.
There is nothing to do/eat around the hotel, as the city center is a 15 min walk away. We were traveling with our baby and couldn't afford that walk with 40* past 8 pm. The restaurant offers a buffet dinner for 20€, while the cafeteria had drinks and some simple food that was OK.
The main con for us were the unsual lightning of the room: the bright blue standby light of the TV (had to unplug it), the constant blink of the double lighted fire alarm, right on top of the not double bed(s) and finally, the emergency exit sign that lid half of the room. Didn't see the point to the blackout curtains, there was more light inside than outside of the room.
Apart from the lights problem, the hotel was good and staff friendly.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. Very basic room, more like 3* hotel standard, not a single chair in the room, strange long uncomfortable pillows. But most bizard is this door in the bathroom that can't be completely shut- very strange solution.

Bien pero con el cambio de nombre la liaron

En general está bastante bien pero ha habido varias cosas que no me han gustado.
Cuando llegué, creo que no tenían mi reserva. Yo la hice desde Hoteles.com cuando el hotel tenía otro nombre.
El chico que me hizo el check in igual tardó media hora de reloj en apuntar 4 datos (mal)
Porque el resto de días me indicaron que el buffet de mi desayuno no estaba incluido (cuando en mi reserva de hoteles.com ponia claramente Desayuno buffet incluido).
Bueno, es que incluso me escribieron el horario del buffet en la tarjeta.
Eso fue lo único desagradable xq tuve que explicarme varias veces.., pero lo demas estaba bien.
Tampoco me gustó que estuvieran todavia de obras cambiando habitaciones, x la mañana se oian las obras.
Ahora que ya me he quejado, la parte buena:
Las habitaciones súper comodas, con aire acondicionado, las camas y almohadas muy cómodas.
Hay una piscina (yo cogí el hotel x eso, y el de la recepción ni me la mencionó), en el ático. Es muy pequeña y cubre poco pero es muy cuca y en el atardecer es un lugar súper chulo.
La pena es que hay poquita sombra, pero suficiente (al menos en la época que he ido yo,con la cantidad de huéspedes).

El personal del buffet muy amable (a pesar de repetirles el tema del desayuno..), y el buffet bastante bueno.
Igual lo que peor tiene son los dulces. Pero lo demás estaba muy rico y bien.
