This is a lovely property hosted by a lovely lady! The room, the courtyard, the breakfast all excellent. Ainhoa , the owner, assisted getting us a table at a close by restaurant and she packed us sandwiches for our hike at Camineto del Rey. I will say that the location is very hilly if that is a concern. I would stay there again for sure!

Ainhoa, the proprietress, greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and made sure we were comfortable using the keys to unlock the exterior gate, entry way, and our room. She even lent us a prepaid card for the local busses so we could get around easily. The patio where breakfast is served each morning is surrounded by plants. The room was air conditioned, and very comfortable. There are only 6 rooms in this boutique hotel.
Breakfast was prepared for us each morning at our reserved time. Homemade jams and jellies, and fresh-squeezed orange juice.
Located in the old quarter, it was an easy walk to the Silk Market shopping district, and Plaza Nueva, where the local busses and taxis are located. Many interesting restaurants are located nearby. We ate at “El Agua” for lunch one day, and it was delicious. It was about a 30 minute walk up to the Alhambra, or you can take a local bus.
Ainhoa recommended several local walks, and they did not disappoint.
We enjoyed our 2-night stay and would love to stay again in the future! Highly recommend it!

cute guesthouse in the old town. There’s an attic in our room with a bedish thing. one of us slept on it the first night, and they made that “bed” for us the second night and ended up charging extra “bed”. It would be fine, but no one had told us before hand.

Boutique hotel: good personal service provided by the people running it. It's down a small alley with no car access, but just a short walk from a taxi-accessible street. The only problem was that on arrival, the taxi driver had no idea where the hotel address was. The web site might usefully include instructions (in Spanish) to cater for this difficulty.

Wonderful Stay at the Posada Quijada
Posada Quijada is a lovely, small Bed & Breakfast in a great location. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is really good and different each day. They will organize activities if you need and use a very good taxi firm for trip to the airport (I would not recommend hiring a car). The room we had was spacious by European B&B standards, with a good bathroom and shower. There's no TV and the wifi can be a little slow but you should be too busy and tired for it to be a problem. The only area that could be improved are the door locks, which take a little getting use to. The location is awesome - right in the heart of the Albaicin (old quarter), close to the Alhambra and great restaurants and tapas bars. However, you need to like walking and should wear comfortable shoes. The cobbled steep streets will provide a great workout! I highly recommend the Posada Quijada.

You would never guess what lay behind the wall. It was a beautiful patio where breakfast was served each day. The food was excellent. The room spotlessly clean. Posada de Quijada is absolutely fantastic. The place itself is quaint and serene, although it's in the middle of a bustling area. The room is clean and wonderfully decorated with a beautiful balcony and a lovely terrace. The hosts, in particular went way above and beyond. I was traveling alone, and unfortunately got some food poisoning. The hosts brought food and medicine to my room and checked on me regularly. I couldn't have asked for more care from them.

Left a bad impression at the end when we realized we were charged for tea (without being told in advance we would be) and the lady booked an expensive taxi for us to the airport (no meter) and didn't tell us that's what she was booking.

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of the Albaicin area. The staff are so nice and friendly and Julia even came and met us when we got lost and took us to the car parking that was arranged for us by the hotel. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. We had the 2 bedrooms with the joint balcony which has a view of the Alhambra so it was lovely to sit out at night and enjoy a drink with the great view. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Don't think twice about staying in this hotel as you won't be disappointed.

Casually comfortable posada in the Abazyin
This posada is in a perfect location in the heart of the Abazyin. A few hundred yards downhill from St.Miquel square, and 10 minutes uphill from Plaza Nueva. The posada itself was quiet, very comfortable and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay a real treat. They even saved the day by acquiring the hard to get AlHambra tour tickets for us! La Posada is located in the Albycin, just minutes away from several of the major attractions. It is probably best to take a taxi from the train station (10€) rather than trying the buses. If you do take the bus, you have to buy the LAC ticket before getting on the bus.

This delightful guest house is ideally located in the Albaicin, the most interesting part of Grenada to stay in. Rooms, though small, are charmingly decorated in a Spanish Country style. Leyre and Julia are great hostesses/managers, always willing to provide information about the city, restaurants, attractions or tours you might want to take.

IT was simply fantastic. It was worth visiting Granada just to stay in this cozy hotel. The hostess was so welcoming after a bit of a climb that we immediately forgot that we were tired. It like going home -- Julia offed us coffee and cake and told us what all visit and where to eat.

This Posada has 6 apartments and a great area outside the kitchen to sit and where breakfast was served. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Our apartment was just a bedroom and bathroom. There is no sitting area but it is spacious enough and well apppointed. It was a very comfortable stay. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. It is situated on a narrow street so no car access but we able to get a taxi to and from and be dropped at the nearest street corner. It was an easy walk and quiet. The apartments are close to most of the attractions with some uphill walking which is expected in Granada.

This hotel is kind of unique opportunity to feel Granada: you're located in the heart of medieval district. Everywhere you go, the road brings you to ancient treasures, houses, bazaars, etc. Fantastic views of Alhambra from almost everywhere. The hotel is very small: only 6 rooms. The owners rebuilt the ancient house, which you will certainly enjoy, if you love peaceful and relaxing stay. This hotel is not for TV lovers and hectic style people. Everything is decorated with love and style. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to all my friends heading to Granada.

I phoned the hotel after driving around the maze and they immediately came over and guided me to the garage. The next people to arrive after us had the same problem.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! This was a beautiful property, located right in the heart of the older part of Granada. Perfect for walking around and seeing the sights. Our terrace had amazing views of the Alhambra and the snow capped Sierra Nevada mountains. Our host was ANAZING!! She helped us get reservations for flamenco show and advice on where to go to eat, tour, etc. I can't wait to go back to Granada and stay here again!!!

Fabulous Posada in Great Location
We stayed three nights at Posada de Quijada and booked the two rooftop terrace rooms. This worked really well as the rooms share the terrace and meant that we had it to ourselves. The Posada is tucked away in a small street and is very peaceful and the owners are really helpful.
Rooms are beautifully decorated and make great use of the space available plus the view from the terrace of The Alhambra really sets everything off.
If you don't like big hotels and prefer a more personal touch, this is definitely the place to stay in Granada.

Hotel in great location with helpful staff
Delightful hotel, and the staff could not be more helpful. We were provided an overview of Granada when we arrived, which was incredibly helpful. It was my birthday whilst we were there, and they surprised me with wine in my room, and they also helped my boyfriend arranged a cake, and book a fantastic restaurant before we had arrived.
The room was beautifully done, incredibly clean, and we shared a terrace where you could see part of the Alhambra. The location is ideal, with restaurants, and squares close by.
We had a slight issue with the locks to the front gate and the building. But once we had figured it out, all was fine.

THE place to stay in Granada. Staff are fantastic especially Julia. Nice breakfast and location brilliant. Rooms really comfortable .... no safe but the place is so well controlled you don't need one. would stay there again in a heartbeat !!

Staff were great and very willing to help. Bed was extremely firm (uncomfortable for us), location was quiet as it was on a pedestrian street (scooters/motorbikes still occasionally used it), but when there was a guest in the room above you could hear all the footsteps and their ablutions as the pipes ran down the walls - once everyone settled down for the night it was quiet. Breakfast was basic, good supply of fresh fruit. You need to be willing to do a 10 minute walk up a hill every time you come back from sightseeing and restaurants.

Ce choix a totalement participé au plaisir de notre séjour. Idéalement placé à proximité de l’Alhambra, au cœur des quartiers de vie, avec le charme des dédales de ruelles. Au petit soin grâce à la gentillesse d'Emma. L’accès en voiture n’étant pas possible directement, il est possible de réserver un parking a proximité par l’intermédiaire de la pension (15€/nuit) Tout est assumé par la pension, la réservation, le guidage par un plan très précis, l'accueil au parking pour vous mener à la pension. Idem au retour. Le confort. On se sent comme à la maison dans cet établissement, un niv-1 ou est servit le petit dej au coin du poêle si besoin, canapé et coin télé à dispo. a cours fermé est superbe tout comme la battisse. Situé à environ 30/40mn de marche de l'entrée de l'Alhambra, relativement proche mais du dénivelé explique le temps. Pour ceux qui veulent s'épargner la montée vers l’Alhambra, une station taxi au bas des ruelles du quartier de la pension vous permet d'arriver un peu plus frais en haut pour 5€ environ. Un trés bon choix, un plaisir.
