Check-in was smooth and fast. We booked 2 rooms and got both on the same floor. Unfortunately, there was a cockroach in the bathroom of one of the rooms and when the concierge was alerted, they sent up someone to take care of it. They also sprayes some medicine all around which smelled good, so that it can prevent more cockroaches.

Unfortunately, the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned and the bedside table area was dusty. Would be good if the housekeeping team would take note of this.

Location of property was very convenient. Checkin was smooth. The staff helpful and responsive. We had nice view from our room. The room was clean. There is show of some wear and tear, but nothing to takeaway from the comfort of the room. We found the bed to be comfortable and slept well. There was a strong, unpleasant smell along the corridor of our floor. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Hotel facilities are excellent with the exception of shower knob not working. However the surrounding ambience is affected by abandoned buildings & structures & empty fields stuck with smelly rainwater and insects/frogs/wild dogs loud noises at night can be hear at 10 th floors. Not sure the smell is coming from the water trapped in the empty field or the bay is filled with dead animal carcasses.

Clean, relatively comfortable and neat, but has the feel of a cheap JB hotel room in overall. Bathroom finishes lack finesse and corners/drains/fittings feel worn out. The biggest issue was the persistent smell of cigarette smoke in the room. There is not much in the vicinity, so you would need to taxi out to main shopping/F&B areas.

My experience at Fraser Place Puteri Harbour in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia, was far from satisfactory. I encountered several issues during my stay that left me disappointed.

First and foremost, the air conditioning in our room was malfunctioning. We promptly called reception for assistance, and while two maintenance staff members came to address the issue, they only managed to fix the air conditioning in the common bedroom, neglecting the master bedroom entirely. This lack of thoroughness was quite frustrating.

To compound matters, the shower in the master bedroom had a non-functioning water heater. Again, we called reception, and were assured that someone would come to resolve the issue. Regrettably, no one ever arrived to address this problem, leaving us without a functioning shower for the duration of our stay.

On top of the room issues, the breakfast experience was equally disappointing. Despite having paid for breakfast, the queue to the breakfast area was so long that it extended all the way to the lift lobby. This resulted in an inconvenient and unsatisfying breakfast experience.

In an effort to rectify these issues, I provided feedback to Expedia, and was told that the hotel manager, Khai, would follow up to address the problems with our room. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up whatsoever, which only added to my frustration.

In light of these multiple disappointments, I cannot recommend Fraser Place Puteri Harbour to other travelers.

We booked this room as a "sea view" with a premium cost only upon arrival to be informed it was partial sea view. In reality it was a view of a construction pit! There was no hot water in the shower. The room itself was comfortable and new with many amenities. For the money I would book a room at one of the many other hotels in the area next time.

The aircon is so loud and I can’t even sleep.
The concierge and room service were slow with no response when they told me they will send the luggage to my room.
My room was full of pee smell when entering the room, and I needs to get the supervisor to smell the room and finally agreed to change the room.
Overall if you are light sleeper not recommend to stay as the aircon is too loud.

Pros- Every single place is extremely clean and cozy

Cons-Breakfast is decent .. Two flavoured yoghurt vanilla and blurberry in a medium size bowl for u to scoop out to your bowl.. Fruits were not much too and papaya skin was not peeled off.. Egg counter do have mushroom which is common to add.. Fruit blender is small n takes time to blend for a full glass.. Maybe I was so used to Puteri Jen breakfast and spoilt for choices that I had expected this new hotel which is nearby to compete equally...

Stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment, living area is spacious with a dining area and open concept kitchen. Built in refrigerator, stove, microwave and washing machine.
Bedroom has a separate study area and comes equipped with a Bluetooth speaker/radio/alarm.
Toilet is very spacious with separate shower and bathtub. Only downside is you need to have the tap/shower running for about 1min before you get hot water supply.
Hotel has free basement self parking for in-house guests and visitors. In-door pool and Gym on the 18th floor.

Breakfast has a wide variety and good quality.

Hotel is located in a fairly secluded area, quiet but quite inaccessible if without own transport.

Overall will recommend to friends!

The room i've got was clean. I had issue with the hot water. It seems like if I turned on hot water, it's not as hot as I wanted for the bathtub. Same for the shower. However, I figured out a way that if you lightly turn on, you can get the temperature you want. The water pressure is great
The bed is so comfortable and I had a great rest

Pros:

1. fantastic service from Reservations office and front desk.

2. Free parking and self-validating machine at the same floor as the lobby makes it very convenient.

3. Clean. Both rooms and bathroom are clean. I'm not so particular on the dust in the drawers etc as I did not utilise the wardrobe.

Cons:
1. location. Unless you are driving, this location might be slightly off. There is a 24 hr cafe called Manna cafe and the food pricings are reasonably priced.

2. Hot water. It is not an instant water heater. U need to literally flush out all the cold water from the hot water tap. Ie open the tap at full blast for a good 10-15 mins before the hot water will be available. This is a classic example of water wastage.

3. No manual for induction cooker. Having an induction cooker is impt for me as I needed to cook for my baby. The induction plate just did not turn red.p
