This hotel was SO cute. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The front reception representatives were kind and helpful. The shared bathroom thing wasn't a big deal. Our room had 3 beds and a sink. When you leave the room, just around the corner was a shared bathroom, but it's large.

Lisa and Jon Marco were so helpful and accommodating. They made me feel welcome and comfortable after 14 hours of traveling. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I booked a room without a private bathroom, but there were three bathrooms shared between nine rooms and it wasn’t an issue at all. My room was really nice and thank you to the wonderful staff.

It is not a hotel or an albergo. It is a HOSTEL. You rent a room, most without ac and share 3 bathrooms down the hallway with everyone else. It is kept very clean.
Also NO FREE PARKING. It is in the TLZ and if you want the hotel to give you a pass they charge 9 euros a night (it costs 5 a night).
Also it's on the 4th floor.
We will never go back.

The location of Albergo Panorama was excellent. It was easy to walk to Piazza Maggiore and had great restaurants nearby. Service was great- they were so helpful with transport assistance.
The only downside was no air con in our room on a very hot night
Otherwise, a great stay!

Great budget friendly hotel with plenty of character and brilliant location. We were given a lovely room on the second floor with vintage furniture. There was a fridge and tv in the room. The bathrooms were spotless and it was not a problem at all that they were shared. Staff were helpful and friendly. There was a coffee machine and kettle in a hallway area outside the room. A tray of croissants was left by there in the morning for guests to help them selves to. There was some traffic noises from the busy road outside but it wasn’t a problem for us. We would definitely stay again.

This is an interesting little property. It was previously a large family apartment, and it still looks that way, including the old Italian furniture. The rooms are very large, but know that you are always sharing a bathroom with at least 1 other room. Sinks are in each room, though. The best thing about this property is the location. It is right in the heart of historic Bologna, and easy walking distance to the sights and dining.

the hotel was in good location, however, I was not happy with shared bathroom and I overlooked during my reservation. The room has air condition, but there were no remote to ON the air cond, I asked the reception, he said don't have!! so I stayed without a aircond and no fan too.
I would not reconsider the same hotel in near future.

Great location for a city break.

This is a small family-run pensione just off the Via Ugo Bassi. Buses 25 or 30 from the station stop very close by. Ideally located for all the main attractions in the city, with loads of shops, cafes and restaurants all around. Bedroom and the separate bathrooms were very clean, tea/coffee etc. always available in the reception area. Good wi-fi included. Situated on the top floor of the building, so generally quiet and away from street noise, however I recommend taking the elevator unless you are in training for the Torre Asinelli.

Basic but good hotel, well priced and right in the heart of Bologna. Great base to explore the city. Rooms clean and stylish and bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Shared bathrooms may put some people off but they were very clean and had a good strong shower. Only negative was that our room did not have air con. Would certainly stay here again.

A great hotel up on a top floor with fantastic views & quiet rooms. Not too big so they can take care of all the details you may need. Rooms clean & big with well equipped bathrooms. A lovely hotel in a great location in the middle of the city. I'd stay again any time!

Used the hotel as a base to visit Bologna, Venice, Rome and Naples. Train services are excellent. Bologna is a great place to visit and the hotel is basic but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was laid out in the small reception area and ample for our needs.Reception staff were very helpful.

Hotel Albergo Panorama - Bologna

We spent one night waiting for a flight.

The hotel is situated in the very centre of Bologna on a noisy street. Impressively though, with the windows closed there is no street noise at all. The other good thing except the location is that the rooms are extremely clean.
Bathrooms are shared - not very clear, if you don't read carefully. There are room with private bathroom, but they are much more expensive.
Other than that, it'a a one star hotel: very basic rooms (the smallest TV I've seen in a hotel). The reception is not 24 hours desk, but they'll provide you with keys for the doors in the building that you need to open. Internet (wi-fi) is OK - not great - but that's typical in Italy, in my opinion.
Rooms locks are ridiculous. I haven't seen that since the 80s. Especially, for a place without reception and no room safety box.

Overall: Good place to crash for short time if you can accept the shared bathrooms. They managed to keep them very clean all the time, but you may have to wait for bathroom in the \"rush hours\".
A little expensive for two people, considering the amenities. For the same money you can book proper 3 or 4 stars hotel, but the location will be most likely not so close to the city centre. Probably, good deal for families with kids - they can book a 4-bed room with private bathroom, and the price would be very good for 4 people.

Recommended if \"great location on budget\" is the most important to you, and you don't mind to share a bathroom with strangers.

The Albergo hotel is a 15 min walk from Bologna Centrale, be aware that Via Ugo Bassi by the hotel is closed to traffic on Sundays so taxi or bus might not be a good option. The hotel is spread over two floors of a large five storey building. I was given a large room on the second floor with a large bathroom just a few steps down the hall and as the hotel was quiet I had the whole floor to myself. A plentiful supply of coffee was available all day but breakfast was a little disappointing, just fruit, although there are cafes near the hotel.The hotel is close to many tourist attractions and there is great selection of bars and restaurants in the area. I would recommend the Albergo hotel as a great value for money hotel in the centre of Bologna.

Great Area, Old Building

This is a hotel within a very old building in the heart of Bologna. Our room could have been more comfortable and updated. You can hear everything that goes on in the hallways. Having our bathroom would have been better, but ended up not being a big deal. Being able to walk through such a beautiful area, with so many great options for dining and a night time drink makes up for a lot of the shortcomings of the hotel.

Very dated but a great hotel. Complimentary help yourself continental breakfast. Lovely manager very helpful. Perfect location, in the centre of the city, for sight seeing. No air conditioning in most rooms but freestanding fans. Bed 3 also has 2 rear facing windows. No bathroom ensuite but washbasins in rooms and 3 shared bathrooms for 9 rooms. We never had to wait to use one. Highly recommend this hotel.

Basic accommodation at best, great location

The 'hotel' is no more than a few room at the the top of a shared block. The room was clean but very basic. Plug socket was stuck to the wall by celotape and the light units above the sink in my room didn't work. The rooms are NOT en suite but the shared bathrooms were always clean to be fair.
The beds were not comfortable and were basically camp beds placed around the room (I had a quad room as it was the only one left when I booked).
Breakfast was just a few croissants and a bit of fruit placed on a set of draws in the small lobby/reception area - there was no breakfast room.
I'm just glad that I was travelling alone and not with my wife - I wasn't impressed and wouldn't stay at this hotel again.
That said, for a family on a budget it would possibly be ideal. I guess I'm more used to proper hotels - 3 to 5 star.
I also thought that it didn't offer value for money but a positive is the staff were helpful.
The big positive is location - it is central to all that you'd like to see in the wonderful city of Bologna!

Calling the Albergo Panorama a 'hotel' is a bit of a misnomer. It's actually the top floor (4th) of an old residence. In fact, the top floor was the staff quarters! I love the feeling of these old places.

Albergo Panorama was perfect for our stay in Bologna. It was typically Italian which is what we wanted. It was in the center of Bologna and within walking of everything and in an area where we felt very safe. We were traveling with our 14 and 15 year old daughters. The rooms were very clean with good air conditioning and the staff was extremely helpful. We had our own very clean bathroom but the shared bathroom looked spotless and would have been fine. Other guests were quiet and respectful of us and one another. I forgot an item in the room and the hotel emailed me before we were even 10 minutes outside of town. I recommend this Albergo and give it an excellent + rating.

Great location, very close to Piazza Maggiore and all the wonderful Bolognese restaurants and cafes. It's also fairly convenient (about 20 minutes walk or a quick taxi ride) to the train station. The WiFi did not work very well, which was unusual for our trip and made things less convenient for us, and the breakfast was appreciated but a little sparse. Staff is very friendly.

I stayed here for a night. location is fantastic. service is very good. bathroom is common but plenty and spacious. No AC just fan. so keep that in mind. There was a simple but good breakfast in the morning. The hotel is on the 4th floor. Since the booking doesn't say that, I had to stop at each floor before finding the floor. There is a lift.

The strongest point of \"Panorama\" is location. It is located in the very heart of the historic center of the city. Everything is within walking distance. And there are good and inexpensive places to eat all around.
Also I can say that this place is clean and well maintained. So, if you are OK with the idea of external bathroom, you can pick up \"Panorama\" for your Bologna visit.

Just what you need.

Had a great stay at the albergo panorama.Easy to get to from the airport with the bus stop right beside the hotel.The staff were very friendly and glad to help with any requests.The location is in the city centre and right beside all the big attrations.Only downside is the rooms are without ensuites but the three communial bathrooms seem adequate.

all was very well, great room with double long windows opening to look over a rooftop garden below, hills in the distance, and 14th century buildings in between. good wifi, good writing desk, spacious well appointed and clean bathrooms, three for ten rooms, couldn't have been happier and more content. the breakfast could be improve but all that was at your fingertips just outside.

Está bem localizado, vale o custo benefício. Banheiros mesmo sendo fora do quarto estão sempre limpos. A atendente da recepção nos recebeu com muita gentileza. Quartos espaçosos e roupas de cama limpas. Muito próximo dos principais pontos de visitação, que pudemos ir a pé. Tem um café da manhã simples que montamos nuama bandeija e tomamos no quarto, mas que nos atendeu muito bem. Dois pontos que deixamos como observação são os colchões muito moles e falta do ar condicionado, visto que estão em uma região movimentada e barulhenta que requer dormir de janelas fechadas. Recepção funciona apenas em um período do dia, mas check-in foi muito fácil.

Huone oli 4.ssä kerroksessa. Se plussaa. Erittäin tilava.. vuoteet neljälle vaikka meitä oli 2. Siisti mutta kalusteet vanhahtavat. Huoneessa lavuaari mutta suihkut ja wc:t käytävällä. Niitä oli kyllä kolmet ja erittäin siistit, valoisat ja tilavat. Toimi hyvin. Aamiainen noudettiin tarjottimelle aulasta ja syötiin omassa huoneessa, siellä pöytä. Parasta oli ehdottomasti loistava sijainti vanhan kaupungin sydämessä ja ostoskadut aivan tarjottimella. Samoin ruokapaikat. Hintavuus vähän yllätti. Johtui ehkä loistavasta sijainnista. Lähellä rautatieasemaa. Ensivaikutelma tyrmistytti mutta kuitenkin lopulta viihdyin.

La ubicación es excelente y no está lejos de la central caminando aprox 15-20 min, es muy céntrica, compartes baño con algunos otros huéspedes si vas soltero o amigos ningún problema en familia no sé si sea lo mejor, desayuno bueno, es muy limpio, la vista de la terraza era muy bonita, sin duda una buena relación costo beneficio.

Litet, charmigt och lite gammaldags pensionat, perfekt beläget runt hörnet från Bolognas huvudgata. Dusch i korridoren, men fina och inget problem med trängsel när vi var där.

L'arredamento è abbastanza discutibile, ma il letto è comodo.

Great location!

The staff was nice, the room always clean but the best part was the location! Right in the center of town and you are given a key to access the hotel as you please since it's a locked door at all hours.

Skønt lille hotel med perfekt beliggenhed

Lille, hyggeligt hotel med super søde og hjælpsomt personale. Ligger perfekt lige i centrum af byen. Vi kommer helt klart til at besøge hotellet igen!

Mi sono trovata molto bene nell'Hotel. La stanza era pulitissima sebbene arredata in modo molto semplice. Il personale sempre presente e disponibile per ogni cosa. La pulizia ottima, seppur con bagno condiviso non ho mai riscontrato criticità, era tutto estremamente pulito in qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte. La colazione ricca di cibi e genuina. La posizione ottima. Tornerò sicuramente in questo Hotel che consiglio a tutti per il rapporto ottimo di qualità-prezzo.

Struttura semplice ma caratteristica ed in centro

A pochi passi da Piazza Maggiore la struttura rappresenta un'ottima soluzione soprattutto per soggiorni brevi.
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, l'assenza del bagno privato è ben compensata dal sufficiente numero di stanze da bagno in rapporto agli ospiti presenti.
Buono il livello di confort generale delle stanze, dotate anche di un piccolo TV, pulizia assicurata in tutti gli ambienti (soprattutto nei bagni comuni).

Emplacement central et bon rapport qualité/prix.

Emplacement central à Bologne. L'auberge se situe dans la ZTL, soit la zone d'accès limité. L'auberge peut fournir un bon permettant l'accès et le stationnement dans la zone, inutile donc de payer à l'horodateur mais il faut rapidement afficher le bon derrière le pare-brise.

Buss alldeles runt hörnet om man vill ta sej fortare fram.

Rent, smukt, kvalitet og meget meget venligt personale. Værelserne er små lejligheder med tekøkkener. God mad i restauranten - poolen er et Got med børn.
