Clean rooms, comfy beds. A little squeaky, but altogether nice. The breakfast was simple, frozen eggs heated up, sausage (delicious), and packaged stuff. Dining area needs to be cleaner and organized. The hallways, lobby, and dining area were too warm for me, but the air conditioning worked great in the rooms! Quiet, comfortable, peaceful stay all-in-all.

We have stayed multiple times at parkwood and kstate graduation seemed like the best place. It was pricier than other weekends but we expected that. What we didn’t expect was the lack of hotel maintenance that is usually there. Our lamp in our room was broken and the shade was stained with some kind of liquid. No biggie. The beds were very comfy. The bathroom was clean except the back splash at the sink had dried on toothpaste splashes. The breakfast was a different deal. For the cost of the week ($600+) I would have expected plates stocked coffee filled and trash not overflowing onto the floor. The front desk gal was trying to stock food and check guests in. I felt bad and even tried to help find such items to help her. Our tv didn’t connect but I finally just shut off the power strip and it came back on. The workers we did see were very nice and you could tell they were trying but I was just underwhelmed with the bugs on the floor and trash cans overflowing. Like I said we have stayed before and highly recommended this hotel. I just don’t think I will be able to stay again unless they maybe get some things fixed and cleaned up.

Kudos to the cleaning staff. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was pretty bad coffee ran out there was no hot food 30 minutes before closing. very noisy inside the rooms. 3 of us only got a couple hours of sleep per day over 4 days. Multiple people I spoke with said the television didn’t work. My wife reset the router and got it to work. I’ve stayed here before with better results. Spend a little more money somewhere else to get a quality stay. I won’t be back again.

Thought it was a great place to stay and coat friendly. Beds were comfortable. My only recommendation is that you have an actual mattress under the memory foam. By the time you woke up, you could feel the box springs underneath you in some spots. All in all a good hotel to stay.

Had a fridge and cold AC, the room was outdated, there were questionable guest in the lobby when we arrived. Staff seemed nice but never offered a WiFi password don’t know if they even have it. This is one of the last hotels that still leave a bar of soap and did not have any shampoo or body wash available. Towels were old and worn out, the bed was not comfortable at all and pillows and blankets also worn. It is close to eating and shopping establishments so that was a plus but overall would not recommend or stay there again.

The property was fairly clean but definitely needs updating. No carpet made the room feel cold and stark. Walls were very thin and heard people talking in the halls. Heard footsteps frequently from people walking in the room above us. The bed was a memory foam mattress but was not comfortable at all. Bathroom door would not stay open and had to prop it open with a towel. Felt like we overpaid for what we received.

When I checked in, she passed my key across the desk after getting my card and drivers license. I did not receive any directions on where the elevators were located, hours for breakfast, best place to park etc…. The room was clean. It had all the amenities that I needed. The exercise room was hidden. I could not get the tv or treadmill to work. The other equipment worked great! The breakfast the first morning was well stocked! The second morning, very little food available, trash overflowing and out of forks. The property was very quiet. Housekeeping staff very friendly!

Positives: Hotel itself and rooms were nicely kept. Close to Kansas State. Close distance to Fort Riley. Front desk staff were very accommodated and nice. Animal friendly with a dog park just right across the street. Decent price.
Negatives: multiple encounters with unprofessional maintenance man. Breakfast was not great.

Overall, I would recommend this establishment.

Upon arrival the front desk clerk was amazing! He was very happy to get myself checked in and made me feel welcomed by asking me about my day and what brought me into town. The room and shower was great followed with an already heated room. It had been snowing and a very cold night and was great to have a room already heated up.

The hotel is clean and updated. The bed was comfy, although the thermostat was turned off and the room was frigid until it got warmed up after I checked in. The check-in process was seamless but I was not given any information about parking or breakfast hours.

This hotel has been upgraded to meet customers needs who are traveling and needs a stop over to rest and continue on their journey.

Parkwood Inn & Suites needs to invest in better towels and wash clothes for the customers. What they have is worst than cleaning towels, even though the manager expressed they had just purchased some. The mattresses is their winner. I purchased me towel sets to bath during my stay.

The website states they have shuttle service. This service is no longer available. Breakfast served. Don’t get excited because it’s not what you would expect from Fairfield, Best Western, and IHG hotels included with your stay.

Don’t ask for much, the maintenance man is not customer oriented as if Parkwood Inn & Suites belongs to him.

My overall stay met my needs for visiting the area. Please update your website to reflect services available. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs.

My room was very clean and it was actually a comfortable temperature when I arrived. The whole hotel was clean and tidy. I got to the breakfast room just as it was closing, but the staff made sure I had everything I wanted.

This hotel is a hidden gem! We got the next rm up from a king and it was super spacious! Wet bar, fridge and big couch and chair, with a desk. The price was high due to a home game K-State but otherwise it would of been totally affordable. Staff was friendly and everything was CLEAN! We walked across the parking lot to a Thai restaurant for dinner totaling $35.00 and had awesome $6 MiCampo margaritas next door at Cinco de Mayo and walked back to the room! Great experience all around!
