We needed a quick place to stay for the night and this worked!
We were able to check in late at night, and leave later the next day.
The room did have a very odd and unpleasant smell. However the bedding was clean, but the curtains were quite gross.

Dont recommend staying here. Property is old and feels unmaintained. No remote for the TV, asked staff for one they stated they had one but didnt have batteries. No blow dryer in the room. Shower was mediocre at best. Room was not clean, old gatorade bottles under the bed. Lights would not turn on, turns out they were unplugged.

I booked a room online for my parents who are in their 80’s. I requested a handicapped room on the first floor. That request was only granted when my mother fell attempting to get up the stairs (no elevator). The room was dark and drab with an unpleasant odor. Very outdated!

The hallways smelled of a mixture of marijuana and rotten garbage. The staff was pleasant. The security doors were broken anyone could just walk in at any hour. The window locks were not operational. The drywall behind the main door was broken. Don’t even ask me about the cleanliness of the bathroom. NEVER AGAIN.

Staff tried to say my reservation had been cancelled. The room and facilities were filthy. It reeked of marijuana. There was a huge fight in the hallway and police had to be called. No water pressure to the shower. Toilet took 1 hour to fill up with water to flush, and when it flushed it barely flushed. The breakfast was lacking a variety. The window wasn’t safe as the emergency escape glass wasn’t even in place in the window frame. This place should be condemned and don’t get me started on the filthy floors.

The room I was assigned had a malfunctioning lock. Despite the fact that I had to have the clerk assist me in opening the door on at least four occasions, no solution was offered. The clerk told me \"I'll try to get you a room with a better lock next time.\" At this point, that next time seems doubtful, at best.

I completed the pre-check in and when we got here it showed that we didn’t have a room or that someone had already booked in (not being me). The person at the front desk was finally able to find the reservation and we got our room. The room smelled like smoke and wasn’t clean, the plug ins were wonky, and the bathroom had very little toilet paper and towels. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I refused to stay there. This property is occupied mostly by construction workers. The GM explained that is why the carpets were filthy, stained, worn, & covered by debris. Lobby furniture from Goodwill. My room reeked of cigarette smoke. Bed was disheveled. The GM offered to find another room for me, but I had no interest in staying there. The GM said, \"Well, our parking lot is full,\" indicating she didn't care. Outside were side streets where young men were racing loud cars.

Heartbreaking Stay. We Deserve Better. I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience really needs management’s attention. I really hope management reads this because no one should have to experience what we did.
We arrived at the Super 8 in Manhattan, KS around 10 PM after a long day on the road, tired, just wanting to rest. Instead, when we opened our room door, a whole family of roaches was there to “welcome” us. It was disgusting and absolutely unacceptable.
I immediately went to the front desk and spoke with a Spanish lady named Brandie to ask if there was a cleaner room available. At first, I was told there were no vacancies, and when I asked for a refund, suddenly another room upstairs was offered. Unfortunately, that room wasn’t much better. The desk and microwave had visible dirty streaks like someone had wiped them with a used dirty towel. By that point, we were too tired to go hotel-hunting so late at night, but it was very uncomfortable to stay there knowing how unsanitary the rooms were.
The breakfast looked okay, but I couldn’t bring myself to eat, thinking about the roaches we’d seen.

This experience was completely disappointing and unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the pest and cleanliness issues immediately. Guests deserve a clean, safe place to stay. This was far from it.

The bathroom was not at all clean, toilet paper holder broken, toilet way too low and rocks when you manage to get off, light switch broken on bedside lamp, beds very uncomfortable, pillows were lumpy, upstairs neighbor very loud from 9 pm until we complained at 2 am, no alarm clock, no easy access to outlet near bed to charge phone. Never again will we stay here. Upon checking out, when asked how our stay was, staff just said they were sorry and they would have maintenance fix things.

This place isn’t bad if you want to stay in Manhattan on a game night for under $400 (well under). It has all the basics if you just need a place to stay. Location is good for restaurants and fast food but the motel is in a pretty run down little area. A/C was nice and cold which was all we really cared about after a long day in a hot stadium. Will stay again due to the nice price.

I wasn’t expecting the four seasons by any means and i knew i wouldn’t be in the room a ton for my stay but the conditions were far worse than pictured or i imagined. My room had a terrible smell. So much so i decided to keep my bag in my trunk to avoid the chance my clothes would smell like the room for my events. I questioned if showering would make a difference in the morning after being in the room for so long, Al beit the bathroom was the cleanest part of the room. Until it wasn’t and a roach came scurrying across the floor before me.

I still tried to muster through though, since it was late already. The bed sheets had stains on them and didn’t give me the warm and fuzzy feeling so i not only slept on TOP of the comforter i bought a hoodie as to cover my hair while i slept, kept my socks on and slept in my jeans so no part of me was actually touching the bed.

The next day i had my son come to the room
To see if i was over reacting, didn’t tell him my thoughts and wanted to see his initial reaction. He’s a college kid, they sleep anywhere. Immediately upon entering the room he scrunched his face and asked what the smell was. I knew then it wasn’t just me.

I went to the front desk and told them i would be leaving early as the accommodations were lack luster and i would not be returning. They didn’t offer to refund my stay and i was out the money for the second night and the cost of a new hotel. Needless to say i do NOT recommend this establishment.

There were literally holes in the wall. No closet but a hanging rack hung half way over the bed. The bathroom laminate flooring had huge pits in it that were filled with dirt.There were blades of grass all over, so the room clearly had not been vacuumed in quite some time, and were very noticeable so it was a lack of effort on staff to maintain cleanliness. The room smelled of dampness/mildew.

This is a less than one star property. We stayed 4 nights. While we asked at the front desk every day for fresh towels and for our trash to be taken out it was not done. No one came to our room, we had to empty our own trash and go up to the front desk and request fresh towels,coffee, cups, toliet paper. I walked down to the laundry and dropped our dirty towels in front of the door. Not a pleasant experience.

The room was so dusty. We pulled open the drapes to get some sun and the window was fully of cob webs. We complained and housekeeping came and cleaned out the window and noticed part of the window was missing. It was double so the outside was sealed. Also there was no bath mats. When I turned on the shower the handle fell out. I was able to manipulate the handle and complete my shower. I left the handle on the dresser when we left.
