The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and also I was charged for the booking and I never even stayed in the room. I never even checked in because the rude customer or worker at the front desk did not understand that I was in a domestic problem, that’s why I booked the remote two and she wanted me to give her $60 extra to put in her pocket to be able to book in and say there at 2 o’clock in the morning and so yeah, and she kept buying saying that the manager was not there when he was clearly there because she told me that he was asleep and then she said to me from the property so I will be getting my money back from y’all. Thank you.

The toilet was broken . Also don’t use the snack vending machine it just takes your money. The shower was nice after we had to clean it our selves. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have no other choice. What we paid isn’t what it was worth. The tv was broken the bedding uncomfortable . If it hadn’t been storming we would’ve found somewhere else and got a refunded.

My review of this motel 6 by I-20 in Longview is the same as it was on 3/31 regarding the discrimination. Having seen my review from the day before where my friends said that they had \"never felt more discriminated against in all their lives\" the owner threatened that I would not be able to stay if I did not remove the review from this website #1-That's illegal. You cannot retaliate for a bad review.
#2- He straight up lied in his reply to 3/31 where he said I quote, \"The additional charges were due to extra guests and pets in the room, as well as early check-in fees.\"
I wasn't charged early check and see even once the entire set and it wasn't for extra pets because I was aleeady paying an additional $20 daily pet fee. But the only charge me $3 a day more than his wife did everyday plus refused to give me my AARP discount and refused my 'My6\" stating thdtthat I was not being offered this discount because I had visitors. #1-nowhere in motel6 policy does it say that you cannot have visitors.. just none overnight. And there were never, at any point in time, anymore than the allowable number of people per room in the rooms. the occupancy is 2 for single bed and 4 for two beds. At no point was occupancy exceeded in neither my room nor my friend's and I'm speaking on that because I paid for that room . So again, I call BS.. bye

The owner here was terrible My guests and transgender friends were discriminated against by means of steady harassment for bs reasons, barging into their rooms demanding to check rooms for extra people and animals then when got into a room with me I was charged more than the normal rate because we had a couple visitors -not even overnight- he refused my AARP discount and my my6 member discount because I had visitors ..my friend and I drove and saw the man standing byyither friends door eavesdropping then later he was eavesdropping by the crack of my door and almost fell in when I opened it. No privacy. He picks and chooses who he messes with and theirs treatment of the lgbtq community is horrendous.. motel 6 is getting multiple calls to corporate and the other motel 6 in Longview was no better

The lady at the desk was rude & tried to say my booking wasn’t good when I booked and paid online. Arguing with me saying that I needed to pay over 180 for two nights! Also said they don’t go off of a receipt I was showing her , so after driving many hours it took me 20 minutes to get checked in rather than it being simple. She eventually said she figured out the problem and was still rude. Later she knocked on my door at midnight , I’m not sure why but all in all would have been a way better experience without that. Hotel is clean for the price. Had people outside my room playing music loud until late the second night I stayed.

Go somewhere else.

When we arrived at the property, there was a shirtless man nodding out in the parking lot.
Upon entering the lobby, there was nobody attending the front desk, and another upset customer showed us a video of bedbugs discovered in her room after being bitten by them.

Being that it was late at night, and having a child with me, I made the assessment that the hotel was unsafe and unsanitary, and asked to cancel my reservation once someone had come back. Keep in mind - I DID NOT CHECK IN. I was told that hotels.com would have to do it by the desk clerk, and that she was unable (unwilling) to do so.

The customer service folks at hotels.com told me it was the hotel’s duty, and phoned the manager, who outright refused to refund my money because \"bookings made after a 3PM window are an \"instabooking,\" and are not refundable. I made my reservation 50 minutes before arrival, not a calendar day before. This instabooking policy was not stated in the hotels.com booking page, and seemed to be a policy of the manager that he came up with on the spot.

Being that I had not checked in, received no services, and did not stay - I reported this as credit card fraud with my bank. I've already left feedback with Motel 6 corporate, and will be making a phone call to the county health department as well. Avoid this place and go anywhere else.

Leaves MUCH to be desired....like clean sheets!

I never expect Motel Six to be the Hyatt Regency. That being said, the room we were assigned was not clean, there was a wet barefoot frint on the bathroom rug. There was a hole in the ceiling above the toilet that dripped into the toilet every time someone upstairs used water. It was a non smoking room but there were burn holes in the bed covering and red stains (lipstick?) on the sheets.The pillows were flat and the surfaces were sticky.

Usually i dont write reviews but i need to warn yall before you stay. Walked in looked decent until i went into the bathroom. Black spots EVERYWHERE seemed like mold not sure though. Next when i woke up i had around 2-3 bumps on my skin that werent there the first night. Secondly, i went to work then came back to find that my card was not working, so i went to the front desk and they thought i checked out even though i paid for two nights. They went into my room grabbed my clothes and put them into a bag THANKFULLY i got them back. Lets just say i didnt stay the second night.

It was in the vicinity of the funeral we were attending. The shower was very small, you couldn’t stretch your arms out to soap up. The maid left the toilet scrubber on the chair in front of the desk. Overall it just wasn’t a good stay.

The frist room they gave us the toliet stop flushing so i was going to wait till morning but then we woke up at 2am getting bitten by fleas then they gave another room that wasn't what i paid for went to talk to the manager next morning and he told me that he walked in the frist room and didnt see any fleas i told him to lay in there, then he said he dont care fleas dont do anything to you. Then the next night we notice that the ac keep coming on and off and not cooliing properly. This place sucks

Upon entrance the room was very dusty and table was sticky. Bed was made but it was clear the sheets had been slept on and not changed. But the worst Part of all The shower was DISGUSTING! Conveniently located off the interstate, the place needs a makeover and better cleaning. The TV was an older flatscreen with a tricky remote. There’s a gas station, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Starbucks nearby, with Walmart just around the corner.

The night was noisier than I preferred. While some may say you shouldn't expect much for the price, that's nonsense since people work hard for their money. It was my first visit to Longview, and I might not return soon, but I’d still consider this location if I do.

Conveniently located as soon as you exit off the interstate. The place could really use a makeover, and the room needed a better cleaning. No in room coffee, small fridge microwave and older model flatscreen tv with a tricky remote. There’s a gas station/C-Store, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Starbucks within walking distance, and Walmart is just around the corner.

The night was a bit too noisy for my liking. Sure, some might argue that for the price, you shouldn’t expect much, but that’s complete nonsense since people work hard for every dollar. It was my first time visiting Longview, and I doubt I’ll be back anytime soon, but if I do, I’d probably still consider this location.

It’s a good budget property for the buck. The pool was clean. The staff was friendly, especially at check in. The area wasn’t the best but it fit what I needed. It’s local to Walmart and a few different places fo eat, and easy access to the highway. The property is showing its age

Our air conditioner didn’t cool off our room we thought after I got dark it would cool off. It didn’t cool off until the middle of the night to be comfortable enough to sleep. The room could’ve been cleaned much better sheets were staying towels were thread bare. Did not have to haggle for a cash deposit however they didn’t make me have the receipt. There was written at check-in to get it back so make sure you keep your receipt. Won’t stay here again. We’ll spend 10 more dollars to stay somewhere else.

Crooks with dirty musty rooms

10 am a woman was beating on my door yelling house keeping. There are no do mot disturb signs for the doir. When i answered she told me check out is at 11 and she doesn't know what time it currently is. I told her that its not 11 and closed the door.
When I was checking out i told the crook upfront that i paid a cash $25 deposit. She told me that id have to have the receipt to get it back. I wwnt to my car and received the receipt. She then open up a binder that had my cash and a copy of the receipt. If she already had proof of the cash deposit why did i have to show proof? She could've looked in the binder and my name was on the receipt along with my cash. The person didn't tell me that i would need a receipt to get it back so if i had thrown it away or lost it they would've kept my money.

It was alright except for one thing

The room was decent, however they tried to charge me a couple hours ago for another deposit.

Luckily my card declined it. I already paid the deposit when I arrived. Today was my checkout.

We also didn’t have AC because it looked like the 3 prong plug for the AC unit was burnt up so it was unplugged when we got there and we just left it like that.

When I pulled into the parking lot, there was like 18 people outside loud music very trashy. I decided not to stay because it was definitely unsafe place to stay. I do not recommend I actually recommend for this hotel to be off of this website. Hotels.com should evaluate reviews to determine what hotels to recommend.

The staff at this Motel 6 is way more friendly than most of the hotels around here. They actually treat you like a human being. They are accommodating and will assist you if needed.They dont act all judgemental like some of the other hotels. And last but not least....wait for it...they have a swimming pool and its actually open!

I made a reservation early on a Friday morning for a week's stay, then had to cancel this. I canceled the reservation before noon on that same day, but I was charged ONE NIGHT'S STAY because I didn't cancel before THURSDAY at 6 PM. I hadn't even made the reservation yet! I feel cheated and dishonored. I will not be staying at Motel 6 again.
