Air conditioning worked well enough. Pictures online did not match the quality of the room. Tvs constantly lost signal. Kitchen had stove, and microwave. no pots pans or utensils, no dishrags or paper towels.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The property may look a little dated to some, but it’s not horrible.

Conveniently located right off the interstate with plenty of parking and easy access to the main road. There’s a Waffle House next door, a Mexican restaurant across the street, and convenience stores within walking distance.

The room itself was very spacious and clean. No bugs which is always a plus. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot enough.

My only real complaints were the TV and the microwave. The TV service needs improvement—for directTV there weren’t many channels to choose from and the signal kept going out, leaving mostly CNN and MSNBC, which I’m not interested in watching EVER!!. The microwave was also in pretty rough condition and probably should be replaced.

Other than those issues, I was able to get a good night’s rest and enjoyed my trip to the city. I would likely stay here again on a return visit.

we were first placed in a room that had a broken lamp, and a disconnected frayed wire to the second tv in the suite. This place has to be THE WORST place we have EVER stayed at. We've traveled extensively over the past few years and this was by far the worst. Very disappointed that Expedia even has it in their listings! No ice available except to take the ice bucket (no ice bucket existed in either room)to the front office, meaning a walk across the parking lot only to find that they didn't have ice buckets either? Rooms are in shambles, every door was damaged from wear and tear and age. Beds were hard as rocks! we complained about our first room so they then moved us to another room, just as bad, no ice bucket, no phone in first room, phone in second room had no wire, so no use! Curtains in second room were damaged, wouldn't close all the way. Coffee maker but no coffee. Bathrooms had 2 threadbare \"bath\" towels, 2 washcloths, no hand towels, no dish towel in the \"kitchenette\", appliances were ancient, wouldn't have tried to use them. 3 switches in the bathroom, only 1 worked luckily it was the light. Dirty top sheet on the king bed. NO BREAKFAST even though it was advertised on the Expedia site. They charged my card a $50 for incidental charges. I insisted they return that fee at checkout and stood there while the woman at first told me it would be released later and I told her I would not leave until it was done. she finally voided it and gave me a receipt.

I had to put a $50 deposit down and then I was told that I would get it back after I checked out I checked out and never received my $50 back when I went back to check in this time the owner tried to tell me that he gave me my $50 back and then wanted to charge me $100 for the deposit.

The rooms were a bit outdated, but clean and fine. The main problem we had with this place is there was no breakfast though it is advertised on the website, and there was a significant additional fee for our children which was also not listed on the website. Combined together it felt a bit deceptive.

Dominique at the front desk was not friendly. Housekeeping never makes the bed and don't replenish coffee bag and cups. Ice machine does not work. Room fridge and lamp did not work but Dominique didn't care to leave a note for the owner/manager after I complained about these. I left a note for the owner with Pauline expressing my concerns but he never contacted me. This was my 4th stay at this place and I thought the owner would at least call me out of professional courtesy but I guess my business is not important.

Rough night at Knight’s Inn

This was just an overnight stop to sleep so we didn’t want to spend very much. Especially since it was already 1:am. Our check in guy was super nice. But the room was hot and smelly. The ceiling had stains and overall it was just too rough of a property to sleep peacefully. Around 4:am someone was playing their music so loud in the parking lot that it woke me up. I was grateful it was just my husband and I. This is most certainly not a place I would stay with children.

Longview on a budget

It was a decent stay overall. You get what you pay for. Plus-The room we stayed in was huge, felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. Nothing special, just a clean room and the bed was a bit uncomfortable, a tad too much on the firm side for us. No breakfast of any kind. We’d probably stay there again though considering the price for the area.

Dingy place. Was promised breakfast on hotels.com but no breakfast. Holes in sheets. Coffee maker with no coffee pot. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. Dirty baseboards and filthy kitchen sink. Cabinets broken. Broken curtains. The only things we enjoyed were the two room setup and the rooster crowing in the morning. For $82, I expected at least a clean room.

Rooms are big and so is the greed.

I booked through the app for a King Suite. Once I got there, owner said I was booked for a regular king room upstairs as that's where the reserved rooms are. I explained I cannot have an upstairs room as I use a walker and paid for kind suite. He said it's based on availability and I got a good deal with what I paid. He said for an extra $10 a night I could upgrade, and upon arrival found out there is a $50 security deposit. Due to the snow storm moving in, I went ahead and paid for the upgrade. While the room was pretty comfortable, the satellite reception was horrible and barely watched anything during my 5 day stay. The free WiFi was just as horrible. Verizon signal wasn't that great there either. The room and female desk receptionist, who was really kind, are the only saving graces for this place.

Stay Away!

When I arrived to check in, I was asked for an additional $50. When I refused, I was turned away by the property. I’m still fighting to get my money back for the stay. Additionally, the parking was all behind the building and not lit. It would have been scary to be back there like that with three small children. I feel like they must have friends/family doing reviews for them because I don’t see any other way they would have the reviews they do.

First room after check in toilet wasn't working, had to remove the lid to get it to flush. Ceiling tiles sinking, vent falling out, musty smell. No breakfast even though it said they had it. Blamed it on covid but the last 2 hotels had breakfast. Front desk guy was nice.

The guy that checked me in tried to charge me an extra $10 because there was 3 of us but I told him I wasn’t going to pay that because I booked through hotels.com for 3 people
After showing him my confirmation he realized that I did in fact book for 3 people
Other than that our stay was ok. You get what you pay for and the price was right for the condition of the property

What's with the $50 refundable incidentals deposit

The desk clerk was very friendly. The room was in decent condition for it being an older hotel. I will say it was a quiet place to stay and I wasn't disturbed by lots of outside noises. It was roomy enough and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The only thing I found strange as it's the only hotel I've been to that does it... they charge for the room and then ask for a $50 incidentals refundable deposit fee.

It was the perfect place for me to accomplish what I needed to in Longview. Quiet and clean. I am recommending it to other class mates who also need to stay in Longview. Only down side was the breakfast. It was smaller than anticipated with lil options for a filling breakfast.

after a bad experience one week before in another hotel in marshal tx, we decided to stay at Knights inn this time in Longview Tx ands after check in when I opened the door of the room we were shocked to see the beds had their own tv and their space, that is two rooms in one,
their own stove and we were so happy with that.
The staff were very kind and we had and excellent stay.

Okay, but no free airport shuttle as advertised

Facilities were clean and acceptable, but older and nothing special. Booked this hotel because it was a reasonable price and advertised that it offered free airport shuttle service. They don't offer airport transportation at this time. I will say that when I expressed my displeasure, the owner offered to drive me back to the airport. There was no offer to reimburse me for the $20 I spent getting there, but I appreciated the offer anyway.

Waste of Money - Uncomfortable & Unprofessional

This location was nothing like other Knights Inn locations I have stayed at in the past. The check in was horrible with staff that was neither professional or paying attention. The staff was argumentative with my other guest (we had two rooms) about money, even though I had prepaid for the rooms. Upon checkout, my incidental fee was refunded to another guest because the staff member (different person) was not paying attention.

The rooms were NOTHING like pictured and did not even have the amenities that were boasted (such as a stove, kitchenette, etc.) The mattresses were incredibly hard, and none of us in our group slept well. The \"remodeling\" was horrific, with peeling wallpaper, caulk on the ceiling tiles to hold them in place, and poor painting. Overall, this place felt gloomy and unkempt. We will not stay at this location again.

Wasn't sure of the neighborhood. Hotel was older and needed fixing up. There was a crack the whole way around the door and you could see daylight all around the door, not a real secure feeling I must say. The ceiling tile in the bathroom where the fan should be was all water stained and look like it was going to fall in and the fan had no cover and was dirty as all get out. Wasn't impressed with the room at all. Had kitchenette but no dishes to use. Didn't seem to have enough towels or wash clothes, requested 4 since there was 4 in the room and never got 4, once at check in was told the didn't have any more and left not for cleaning person and they even left just 2.

Great rooms, super large rooms, pool was clean, and the staff were super nice and helpful. They need to update the bedroom tv's and the bed was a little hard...but it was a great stay overall. The price was great too.

Front desk did not know how to process a credit card with the new chip, they required the PIN number but threw a fit when I asked to come around the counter to type in the PIN. The employee wanted me to call out the PIN number out loud or write it down! Very unprofessional. Wifi did not work. I stay at value hotels frequently but avoid this location.

When we first walked in to the room we had trouble with the door it look like at one point had been kicked in and they did a quick fix instead of replacing the door. The front room was very spacious with a couch and chair the kitchen area, was small but well set up with a stove mini fridge and small stove which operates the bedroom area from the bedroom which was also spacious the king bed was hard. The curtain looked like they where on the last legs. We had some trouble with the WiFi was spotty and it didn't work half the time, the only really good wifi connections was in the office area for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast the only good thing they had was the muffin, and drinks the cold cereal was stale.

Hotel Thoughts!!

Everything was okay at the hotel stay..I just felt alittle bit uneasy because I guess it just looked so dark and quite..usually when I go on vacations theres somewhat a exciting vibe and a lot of people around walking and talking to eachother...I was kinda upset at the fact that my pull out couch that turns into a bed had a big stain and very un inviting look to it and that made me feel uncomfortable. but the staff was great and so nice when we checked in and checked out no hassle whats so ever...but I hope next time if I do go back again it would be much more lively there!!

The lobby is untrue to the condition of the hotel. You really need to upgrade your pictures. False advertisement!!! I walked into my room horrible smell. Looked like kitchen was from the 1971 with tin foil covering the burners. I was suppose to have 2 queen beds. I had a couch with dirty blankets sheets and pillows. Burnt holes on both blankets. Curtains looked liked they were chewed up by rats and would not close. I felt unsafe! I walked back to the lobby and checked out. I would never recommend the hotel to anyone!

Fine visit, clean. All Knights Inn have firmer mattresses than we prefer but that is personal preference. No dishes or utensils in kitchenette. Very friendly front desk staff. Minimal breakfast.

Very Nice stay, I LOVE the 1 room that had an extra room attached, like a suite, but charged for just 1 room. GREAT STAY and Very nice Hotel Employees. Absolutely NO NOISE Whatsoever. I will definitely stay there again!

Liked the room but sounded like they had a bowling alley in upstairs room. People running across floor till late at night. Breakfast supposed to be from 6-9 and we were on a tight schedule. Had to wait for it to be put out which put us late to our event. Phones did not work.

Keep the bargain in mind....

Nice for the money. Keep that in mind. The rooms are all suites in this motel. That's good if you want to keep separate from the kids. This is an older property. Don't expect a lot for breakfast, however. There is only so much room in the lobby. Ask for towels, and you'll have to check them out in the lobby; I mean sign for them against your room bill. The pool is small but very nice and clean. Neighborhood is not as nice as it used to be due to the lack of other prosperous businesses. If more are added in, it could get better. All in all, you pay less, you get less.
