We got in late. There was an amazing older gentleman that came out to help us. Our original room had a few issue and he didn’t stop helping us until another room and the issues were solved. It’s unfortunate I didn’t get his name. The room, property and surrounding area are what you would expect for the price and the location/city. It does the job. Room was clean. No complaints.

Never!

Showed up to check in at 7pm as scheduled. Office was closed!! Phone number taped to door, so I called, no answer. Called back multiple times, no answer. Called corporate number and they said there was no reservation. But i paid in full via hotelsDOTcom...so never again! Plus, the place was a total dump. Sketchy as hell!

We paid for a king bed and got 2 separated beds. Was told our room was reserved for the strawberry workers. Even though we paid days in advance. Shower had no hot water, once again was told no other rooms. Wifi didn't work and room was infested with Roaches. Staff was un helful, told us we could not get a refund and that was the room we were stuck in.

This place has people during the day with people outside with open bottles and seems some kind of drug trafficking is going on. A female not knowing my husband was the car behind me approached his vehicle asking if he would like her services. It looks run down as if it was abandoned. Scary to think of the night time activity. Manager was rude and very unprofessional.

Upon arrival I was told by the receptionist that my booking had been canceled without notice. Supposedly Expedia rented out the rooms at the hotel that were not available. I ended up having to sleep in my truck. The hotel also looked like a place out of GTA 5

This is not a bad place. I come to work so I’ve been in worst areas. It’s doable but the price was outraged for the condition it’s in. I payed about the same amount of money at a much better motel than this one. I tried to get my money back but it was slow and probably impossible since they don’t like to give refunds back. So I stayed in it till the week was over and I decided to move where some of my co- workers were staying at. It’s a much better motel all the way around and a much better price than what I payed at this place . I would have expected a Comfort Inn for the price I got charged. So now I’m better off in a more affordable motel and a lot better than this one. Thanks for the chance to let me stay anyway.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much. Lots of people walking around. At first, I had 2nd thoughts about staying here because of it. HOWEVER, the manager was very professional and polite and once I got into the room, I found it to be very clean and nice looking. THE OUTSIDE DOESN'T DO THE INSIDE JUSTICE. In fact, the only real complaints I had about the room was the TV doesn't allow you to login into your own Netflix, Hulu, or You Tube account and the light above the sink burnt out. Minor gripes, to be sure. Would stay there again.

The place was filthy. Broken furniture, molding falling off. The deadbolt jammed up and was hard to unlock. I had paid for 3 night because my winter home was flooded. I left after one night, even thou i could not get my money back. The place should be shut down! I would not even shower there. There was no hot water and tub and shower curtain had black mold. I slept on top of the bed, covered the pillows with a towel. Gross, gross, gross!

Hotel is not what is pictured when looking to rent at this hotel. There were old dirty and dingy shoes lined up on each hotel room. Beer boxes left out side of hotel rooms. Pool had no water. When we checked in looked like there were people sleeping on the sidewalk did not feel safe but room was already paid for. Unless things change here I would not recommend staying here.

The office staff were pleasant, and the room was clean, but the outside of the room was awful. There were workers sitting outside drinking & playing music. We were supposed to stay there for (3) days, but only stayed the first night then booked the rest of the trip somewhere else. It definitely wasn't worth the $133.64 that we paid for the one night's stay.

OYO had a great price for the stay I had and incredibly close to the event I was attending.

The room was smaller than expected and the bed was older than expected. It was convenient to park right in front of my room, but that also allowed plenty of insects into the room. I was also able to easily hear neighbors and other Inn guests in the parking lot.

There was mexican guys swarming the rooms and listening to their music loud as can be. The fridge didnt work and there was no microwave in my room and the owner of the hotel made ME go get aa microwave out of a differemt room myaelf and carry it to my room. The pool has no water in it. Ice machine doesnt work. The water in the shower takes an hour to heat up. Not happy!

This place is most definitely a negative 5 star for me! The room that we booked was dirty and they wouldn’t even give us a refund. They gave us another room and yet again it was still dirty. The bed had a dirty shoe print on it and the blanket was just the bedsheet cover. Everything was just wrong!

The only good thing was the shower and water pressure. Otherwise, the bathroom sink was cracked and drained extremely slow. The furniture was worn out. Only had a bath mat and 2 towels but no washcloths or hand towels. Mattress was comfortable but sheets were rough. TV was fine.

The exterior was not very pleasing , the interior at least look liked itvhad been refurbished including the bathroom. However there was no hot water!. later in the am, dor two minutes there was two minute gap where there was some luke warm water and able tontake shower. The cable TV was not functioning with the reception looking like they were using antennas from the 70s. The microwave kept going off and on (fire hazzard), there was no phone, and there were no amenities. Given the there's no phone when attempting to reach the office, there was simply a sign telling you to go to a random room which did not even exist. Better than sleeping in your car I would agree. Maybe?

My wife and i were traveling down to SW FL and became a bit tired. This was the only place available during this time. To say the least, it was so sketch and dangerous that we left immediately and drove down an additional 60 miles to stay in a safer area. We arrived there at 1145pm and there were at least 20 people out in front of their rooms. A lot of foot traffic coming in and out in just the 5 minutes that we were their. Definitely not safe! For $100 a night, it was quite deceiving.

This was mis represented on Hotels.com. It said it was built in 2017 but was at least 50 years old. It was run down and looked like a drug den. Needless to say we did not spend 2 minutes at the site. Bad news. Keep away if you value your health.

I understand it is the busiest time of the year, as absolutely every other hotel and motel were booked because of Flywheelers and Jeeping with Judd. We booked a king size but all they had was 2 double beds. Understandable, not too upset about that. The front desk person was fine, no problems with him but the location, cleanliness and amenities were severely lacking. No Wi-Fi, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer or ice machine. There was some sort of dried old liquid all over the mirror, hair in the beds, dirt and dust and grime on the walls, and the shower curtain was moldy.

Don't let the picture fool you...... And fleas.

What a mistake this booking was. After being in the room a few hours I noticed flea's jumping on my arm. Don't let the picture fool you, it's very run down and dirty. There are full time occupants loitering around outside late into the night. It's the kind of place where you triple check to make sure EVERYTHING is locked. After the flea's, I left. They refused a refund and offered another room but I declined. I'd rather loss the room fee than get flea bites or my car broken into. BTW, the owner was very unprofessional in denying my request for a refund and basically said I had made it up and insisted on the cleanliness of his establishment. AVOID this place at all cost.

This was the worst MOTEL I have ever stayed at, and I’ve been to third world countries. The furniture was in awful condition, it was dirty and bring your own towels, you won’t want to use the one that they leave you. No wifi, empty pool, no tv because the remote doesn’t work. The worst!

This is a very poorly ran hotel. There’s obviously weekly renters. When we checked in there were police officers in the crime scene investigator with a medical examiner vehicle there which only leaves to be that they were pulling out a dead body. The next day again they were more police officers investigating another incident. Our neighbors it to the room next of us stated that they found drugs in their room. The only thing they did to our room was make our bed did not even check the sheets or anything because some thing that we had left in our bed was still there from the morning so they just covered it up and made our bed. So unless you’re going for the obvious reasons with this hotel was being used for I do not suggest using this hotel.

This property is a very old single story 38 unit entity. Although the room was clean I was taken back by the clutter in and around the property. Many people living here. Pool unable to use. The $80 rate is highly overpriced and the ownership charges this due to the tourist season here in Florida. Otherwise this is a $40 a night property.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms had been fully renovated last year, including bathrooms and showers, and were very clean. Excellent value for the price and only 12 miles from Lakeland. This was already our third stay at the Superior Budget Inn in Bartow during our visit to the Lakeland area.

Unfortunately, we were not expecting what we found. The place is run down. It appears people live there and they were out drinking and being loud all night. The pool was empty with a broken chainlink fence around it. We did not feel safe during our stay and refused to stay for our second night. I honestly would not be surprised if this motel was featured on a crime show.
