The place was a dump! Paint peeling off the walls, you could see light on the whole hinge side of the door, no heat turned on before our arrival, the bathroom door was falling apart, the bathroom sink had dirt and grime behind the handles, the bathroom blind was broken that you could see in, there was a pipe sticking out of the wall on the other side of the tub with a plastic bag shoved in the end, no outlet in the bathroom so you had to stand in the living room to dry your hair with no mirror to see what you were doing, the place stunk, and there was a sign in the lobby no refund after checking in. The place was horrible, code enforcement needs to be sent there

Was in the area for Savage Race have stayed here 2 times before at first it wasn't available and I was booked at another hotel, but when it became available I canceled the other to go here. There's a Wawa no matter which way you turn out of the hotel and you feel safe where the hotel is located and it has a well lit parking lot.

Property is what it is. It's an old, aging motel. Looks like it's from the 50's. Paint was peeling and various other damage around the room. Bad WiFi. On the positive, plenty of space, front room with a pull out couch and TV, back room with the beds and another TV. Good location. Service waa great, everyone at the property was friendly. And I can't say enough about how clean this place was. I can tell they care and pride themselves on it. I would suggest bringing your own bath products, and be warned if you run out of tp, there is no spare roll in the room.

This place was a dump. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy to stay there. He had no room between the beds. The pillows were like sleeping on the mattress with no nothing underneath your head. The room was cold. The water was cold. TV didn’t wanna work, thank God we only stayed one night but will never go back there.

I arrived at the hotel after drivibg for 5 hours. Upon check in the lady was very nice and helpful. I brought it to her attention the tv was not working so she woke up the man that works there and was sleeping. He came to the room and tried getting rhe tv to work. He cound not. He accused my borfriend and I of smoking in the room which was false. He was outside suttibg in the steps smoking. He became very rude and telling us he was calling cops and for us to leave. The lady tried to calm hin down and told him to be polite we have just arrived not even for 5 mins. He came back to the room several times threatheing us and telling us to leave. Very rude man and unpolite.

Too noisy.

Someone had tv on 24/7 loud enough to cause me to lose sleep for 2 nights. I was on a hunting trip and getting up early is a must. I believe perhaps a family member had an adjoing room or suite. Was going to stay again until the noise wave hit and I never had this problem before. The Econo lodge or the convention center are nicer and in the same price range.

Nothing special, but clean, easy to get to and owner is very nice. Its an older facility, so expect things that come with age, but for the price, not bad.
FYI: Breakfast is a Keurig, some mini muffins, and a communal pack of cookies in the office.

Bed linens doesn't smell good. Bathroom has pubic hair on the floor & has paddle of water on the floor as well. They don't provide hangers & we have to ask for it. Also, we have to ask for clean towels. My husband drinks coffee in the morning but during our 2nd day, coffee was not made & the caretaker said it was only my husband who drinks coffee so he did not prepare it anymore. What a reason. Being in the business where guests drink coffee or not, he should do his responsibility & to add to that, bed linens smell bad. We have to tell them everytime to change a fresh & clean linens. I give a negative review to this Inn.

Walls ceilings and baseboards have major water damage. Wet dog smell. Owner was congenial but unable to provide alternative clean sheets that we could use.

The room could have been cleaner (around the toilet, microwave, and the mirrors). I found what looked like a small camera on the TV base and when I disconnected it and took it to the front desk, I was told it was a TV sensor so the remote will work to change channels and adjust the volume. I was very unhappy with my stay. The sheets were clean, but very damp. Not sure if it was from the mattress....

There is no evidence that ownership or staff care about their guests' experience.

The room was in mild disrepair and not too clean. There were hairs in the tub and sink.

\"Breakfast included\" was a joke: coffee, crackers, and a box of store-bought cookies that were melted together. (seriously, that was all)

Getting sheets for the sofabed required pleading negotiations, with them trying to only give me one.

Walls are thin.

The two staff I dealt with di not seem happy to be there or have customers inconvenience their day.

At least the price was low.

I really love this hotel. I am an Expedia Platinum member, and stay in the most expensive hotels in the world. It was truly a joy to stay in this $50 motor inn on the edge of the Poconos. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cute little place.

I found the room to be cozy. And the owners to be extremely nice. If you need a place to crash for the night. I recommend.

I don't do reviews unless I'm very motivated. Ok so.. the room: no hot water in the sink but the shower did work. One towel.. one.. for the entire room. This place is tiny so no service past 11pm. Mini fridge was off turned it on.. no issue but no freezer section. No ice machine on property. The curtains.. if someone wanted to peer in they could see me... one set no black out curtains. Tub was very slippery, I didn't feel safe in it and had to be extra cautious.


But the worst for Me? A bed that was the worst bed I've ever slept in. It wasn't just \"\"soft\" but I sunk into it and was a struggle to get out of.. and hurt my back. It needs to be tossed and a new one installed.

No elevator but that happens at smaller places.

No issues with parking and was very quiet. AC worked plus it had a ceiling fan. Tv worked with direct TV and they had HBO & Cinimax so many video choices. Microwave & fridge available.

Reservation was for five people, there was only two bath towels and to make Mather worse there was only half roll of toilet paper in the room no extra we had to go request for extras and only one bath soap in room need to redo .breakfast was included there was a open pack of chocolate cookies and a pack with mini muffins a coffee pot with coffee and no hot water. When required a tea bag the agent said there was no tea because no one ever requested tea before everting about this place screams

Hands down the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms are tiny, beds horribly uncomfortable, no towel bar in the bathrooms, the heat was like raising the depths of hades on the lowest setting, walls/ceilings are paper thin, no service or fresh towels and the TV was junk. This is a place for people on extended stays using government assistance.

It was fine for the cheapest option and 5 minutes from Jack Frost. We chose it over another (cheap) option was because it said breakfast included. Expecting maybe a bagel or doughnut, it was literally a snack bag of wafer crisps and coffee(which is not in the room). Not to complain too much because it was clean and fine. Old, but fine for sleeping. TV worked after it warmed up about an hour.

As per the other reviews, the room had clean bedding & towels and it didn't smell. Outside of that, there is peeling paint rotted walls, drafty doors. It doesn't appear that any maintenance or up keep has occurred in decades. This was a last-minute booking and availability at other locations were limited. There are several chain motel/hotels within a few miles to consider priced similarly.

This was a no frills property but it was exactly what we needed. Very clean, the staff was excellent and the parking lot and sidewalks were very well lit at night. It is a bit isolated from most amenities, but several restaurants as well as a shopping plaza and drugstore were within 5 minutes drive or less. We plan to return soon.

Rooms had very poor decor and furnishing - reeked of smoke despite no smoking signage. Large bucket of cigarette ends on doorstep and unemptied rubbish bin on balcony. Breakfast very poor coffee that had been brewing for a week and crisps or a biscuit.

I am submitting mostly positive review but don't get me wrong - this motel is in pretty bad shape. But it is cheap, compared to other prices and if you need it to sleep a night and go further then it works just fine. The room was sufficiently clean, refrigerator and microwave were clean enough, though we didn't use them - I think there were Ok. Bathroom was Ok, small think, small toilet - otherwise nothing to complain. They have breakfast but it is a joke - cookies and chips with coffee or tea - enjoy. Parking convenient, and they are conveniently right on the local highway. Nothing else to say.
