The staff wasnt very friendly or helpful. The beds were so hard most of us slept on the floor because it was more comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre and the hard boiled eggs were undercooked our first am (i noticed on her second egg that they still were gelly, slimey, gooey white) which made my daughter sick for her game. Soap dispenser was empty and the plug to one of our rooms didnt work. We dont do hotels often but have never been let down more. Should have gone to our best western.

Definitely, don't book your entire stay if at the hotel is vacant. Find out if other hotels in the area are booked. I went at the end of ski season and had a rainy trip.Therefore, I left two days early and they went refund me.My money since I already prepaid through expedia. The mountain and other hotels were already struggling due to the limited ski season and took advantage of me fully. The facility itself is about a two star hotel. I've been to many hotels across the East Coast. Cruise ships fine dining et cetera. If you can put a couple bucks towards a better place to stay, it's most suggested.

Stuff was not friendly, grumpy and moody. They still don't provide cleaning service by default, you have to make arrangements. Queen bed room had very small bed, felt like twin or full. Bedding is not that great, our backs were hurting. Not impressed with this hotel at all

While booking the room. Expedia changed the date. I should have reviewed it but it was Thursday night and I was tired. I clicked go and then reallized I just booked a hotel 3 hours away for that night, not Saturday as it read when I started the booking. Tried to cancel but it was too latesince it was present time. I contacted expedia texted with a robot for 15 min then got a real person texting. Was told it was the hotels policy and nothing expedia could do. I left a message with the hotel. A woman from the hotel called me Friday morning and said she would cancel my payment for me. Unfortunately the money was put into my expedia account for future use. So 5 for the hotel & its staff. 0 for expedia for its crappy website and unwillingness to try to get my money back.

Will not be returning back here. I will start with the front desk staff. Extremely rude upon check in, I get it if you don't like your job but don't take it out on customers. We get into the room late and the reason? The heat is not working so they were fixing it. Great! New heat! - Wrong! The heat did not work, blowing out cold air. The maintenance man stopped by and was clearing hoping to do something but had no idea what he was doing - this was a job for an electrician or something. We call the front desk to get a time frame and again, rude. No problem - we leave and go to dinner. Almost 4 hours later the heat is still blowing cold air (did I mention it was 3 degrees out?). Call front desk again - no remorse or refund here - and someone is on the way. The heat was ultimately fixed shortly after. This left a bad taste in my mouth as far as service goes.

The hotel itself was a little dingy but could be overlooked. If you are thinking about breakfast, think again. The room is a tight squeeze with tables in the hallway and not many options nor availability on food.

The walls were thin and you could hear everyone moving around and shutting doors. The room itself was fine, could be cleaned more but the bed was comfy and the tv worked so at least that is the upside.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! A bit noisy with kids running down the hallway late at night but otherwise a great hotel for the price. We stayed in the area to ski at Okemo. We ate dinner at the Southside steakhouse, which is located in the front of the hotel and we had the best steak ever!

Suite was very large, staff was attentive and friendly and the breakfast is okay, well stocked and clean. Our only complaint was we had a leak in our bathroom, which meant every towel had to be used to soak up water. We reported and left for day and returned to find all the dirty towels still there including some moved from floor and left on top of our tooth and hair brushes on the counter and other toiletries. Everything had to be thrown away and we had to use pool towels to shower bc there is no housekeeping. We were in a hurry or I would have probably asked and expected some compensation for the leak and loss of property.

The positives: it's an ok place, the price is right, it is clean, has a frig, microwave, and free breakfast.

Cons:
The pool was too cold (a heated pool should be 86-89 F. This felt like 80 F). Meanwhile, the hot tub was not hot enough. It wasn't just me as others complained too (it was probably 96 F--should be about 104). AND, it was small, such that during peak times, it's overcrowded. The jets were substandard.

Every apple in the basket in the lobby was bruised. Nice free perk, but if you're going to offer it, do it right.

I thought the woman at the front desk was a bit curt. Not rude, really, but just very abrupt and with no warmth at all. Case in point: I walk up and I'm standing there with my license and credit card in my hand. I tell her I have a reservation, and she says, \"Picture ID, credit card.\" No please. No hello, no welcome, not how was your drive. If you deal with the public on a regular basis, you have to fake it even if you don't feel it.

The breakfast menu was a highlight. It was very exciting to see that there were waffle makers. Parking definitely felt safe, but it was not very easy. The room was clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There are snacks in the lobby. They have bubblers for regular water and lemon water which was extremely helpful and tasty.

I’ve stayed at 3 hotels in the area and I’ve come back to this one twice. It will now be the one I stay at in the area. Mostly because they have a full breakfast and not just muffins and hard boiled eggs. But overall I like this place and love that it’s close to Rutland.

Our room was clean, the shower was good and the bed was comfortable. Other than that we were Very disappointed in this property. Check-in was a terrible experience. Our room was overfilled with furniture making it extremely difficult for me to negotiate with my wheelchair despite the fact I was told it would be no problem. It was impossible to get my chair into the bathroom which was a major inconvenience. Bath linens were replaced upon request but 2 washcloths and 2 towels are barely adequate. Parking was atrocious. 2 handicap spaces for a facility with over 300 rooms is ludicrous. Many guests were forced to park in lots belonging to other businesses. Fortunately our vehicle wasn’t towed for being in the wrong spot. Water pressure in the bathroom sink was barely adequate. From beginning to end it was an unpleasant experience. The lady at check out never asked about or stay or thanked us for our business. Very poor value for money spent. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Staff was friendly and room was clean and quiet. Average on the comfort level. We had a room in the adjoining building above the breakfast area, so we woke up daily to a greasy smell (probably from them cooking the food). Would stay again but would request a room in the main building.

worst stay in a hotel I've ever had!

the room smelled like old socks. I believe the odor came from the bed which smelled like either someone sweated in it for a very long time, or vomited in it or died in it. needed to keep my head on a pillow lying on my back. woke multiple times when sleeping when my face rested on the sheets - was like smelling salts. not at all restful.

There was a 2nd hand smoke smell our room. I had specifically requested a non smoking room. We arrived late and we had to wait to check in because the guest in front of us was arguing with the receptionist. As we were waiting Expedia kept changing price of room. It started at $99, $121, $154 and unfortunately paid $185. Not happy with Comfort in nor Expedia. Both need to do better!!!

We have stayed at this hotel many times and it was fine, nithing special. This time the room smelled like musty carpet. The breakfast is generous but the plastic cups and plasticware were cheap. The spoons were twisted and could barely hold the oatmeal I tried to eat. The plastic cups were so thin! The best part about the stay was the shower! That was excellent. The cost of the rooms in Rutland were outrageous.
