This was an overnight stop having travelled by ferry from Newhaven earlier the same day.

As the ferry docks after the check in closes tge arrangements for late check in are important to me - they are straightforward! Email the motel in advance and they send you a key box code.

I enjoyed my stay

This hotel is off a main road leading from Dieppe to the motorway but is quiet and whilst it would be best to have a car there is a bus service nearby. It is convenient for a visit to the Canadian War Cemetery about 15 minutes walk away and there is a mall nearby but otherwise a bit isolated.

Reception closed, so I couldn't get into my room.

I paid up front for a room. I was horrified to find that on my arrival the reception to check-in finishes at 21:00hrs. This is an extraordinary time to close reception. I had just travelled into Dieppe by Ferry, arriving at the port at 22:00hrs. On arrival at the hotel at 22:28 I tried phoning for them to let me in but there was no response to my call. There is no forewarning on the page advertising this hotel that it closes so early. I only read the 'small print' (not on the advertisement page but on the ticket confirmation - by which time it is too late) the next day. I then had to find, and pay for, another hotel room. I am not happy that I've paid for something that I was not able to use.

Late arrival from UK ferry. Receptionist had put our key in key box and sent email to advise but was there when we arrived to hand over key. Ground floor room, think possibly bathrooms all refitted, very nice shower. Bed comfy, all good.

Ferry 3 hours late docking so couldn’t make it to hotel before reception closed. Phoned them. They gave me a code for lock box to get our key. Gave me an after hours number in case of emergency. Got there and room was so warm and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom spotless. Breakfast next morning was delicious and great value for money.

The rooms were clean. The shower good. The check in straight forward. Open stairs to First floor bedrooms. The biggest issue for us was SECURITY. In the middle of the night 2 men banged on our first floor bedroom door and window shutters for about 10min demanding us to open the door to ‘ talk’. When we did not respond they then said they were police! We believe they intended to extract money/ possessions. They tried this on other bedrooms too, and then left.

Amazingly good value! Perfectly adequate overnight stay, it even has a separate place to open your suitcase in comfort. Nice shower. Dogs allowed for a small fee. Close to ferry port and onwards roads.

Genuine value for money

We have stayed on the outskirts of Dieppe in the past largely because of late booking on our part. Previous accommodation was rather less than satisfactory but this particular motel really, turned out to be very acceptable indeed with a pleasant and inexpensive breakfast to boot. Would go back quite happily but only possible if a car is involved.

We stayed one night in this hotel, arriving late in the evening after a ferry crossing and leaving early-ish the following morning.

The system for getting your room key on late arrival worked extremely well and the room was very welcoming and comfortable.

Great place to stay with a dog on the way to or from ferry. Personally, for me the only downside is the beds are too hard, but the owners who run the hotel are really nice, friendly and helpful. We've found it best for us to book a superior double room, as coffee and biscuits provided, but the rooms themselves all seem to be the same good standard with walk in shower, and very firm bed.
Although we don't use it, there is a Clinique Veterinaire right next door so if you stayed for 2 nights you could get your pet sorted there before returning to the UK.
Also a good centre commerciale just down the road with a flunch restaurant for good value meals.
You can get breakfast at the hotel, which is very good, and also order light meals to collect from reception, though there are no vegetarian options.
Plenty of room to exercise the dog, and a good park at plouville nearby, where it can have a good run.
We always stay at this hotel when travelling to France and back via Newhaven/Dieppe ferry.

Small rooms that were very basic with old decor. The beds were very comfy and rooms clean. We came late at night and the drop box system didn't work. The staff, who were friendly and helpful, after about 10 mins found us and gave us our keys. If it's an over night stay and you just want somewhere to sleep, this is the place.

Arrival after 11pm. Straight forward 'drop key' process as reception is not staffed 24 hours. Room was basic which was what we expected. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and maintained. Had a good night sleep and next morning enjoyed a simple, but filling, continental breakfast. Good value for money.

Stopped here overnight after getting off the Dieppe ferry,before my trip to southern Spain.Very close to the ferry port,free parking and pet friendly.The room is no frills,but very clean,comfy bed and large shower.Arrived after the reception had closed but getting my room key was easy.Great value for money for an overnight stay.

Stayed for one night after the evening DFDS ferry crossing from Newhaven. I needed somewhere close to the ferry terminal to avoid driving too far at night. Hotel was fairly easy to find being on one of the main routes out of Dieppe. I arrived after the reception had closed but the self service check-in was fine - make sure that you phone the hotel in advance! Room was clean and comfortable - bathroom had a decent shower. Good night's sleep - breakfast buffet in the morning was very good for a budget hotel. All in all a recommended hotel.

A comfortable adjoining rooms accommodation for a family of two adults and 3 teenagers. The extra bed in the twin room was not comfortable and we all missed coffee making facilities, however the breakfast was substantial, uncooked though.
The welcome and professionality of what felt like a family run place was very pleasant.

Parking facile d’acces, nous avons réservé 3 nuits malheureusement le dimanche matin au reveil pas de chauffage, nous sommes partis dans la famille et le soir au retour, toujours pas de chauffage, après reclamation à la reception, il semble que le disjoncteur n’etait pas enclenché. Nous avons constaté egalement que la chambre n’avait pas ete faite, explications de la gerante, votre voiture etant dans la cours je n’ai pas voulu deranger. A 20 h 45, plus de papier hygiénique, accueil fermé et le numéro telephone à appeler affiché dans la chambre n’a jamais repondu.
Vu les faits nous sommes un peu déçu de cette dernière journée.

Attention, il n'y a pas d'enregistrement possible passé 21h. Si vous arrivez par le ferry de 22h de Newhaven, vous perdrez la chambre, ce qui fut notre cas. L'accès à cet hôtel n'est possible que si vous voyagez en voiture car en sortie d'une bretelle de voie rapide. Donc si vous êtes à vélo, fortement déconseillé !
