Such a comfortable hotel. We had a sea view room. The double bed was a proper double (not one of those vast, hard beds with unnecessary cushions!!) and the rainwater shower was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and very helpful

We stayed one night at the Aguado as part of a longer trip. We were able to get a free parking spot on the street close by. The hotel is built over a fairly busy street so some vehicle noise. No A/C and impossible to shower without soaking the entire bathroom floor.

We enjoyed our stay in Dieppe very much. Aguado firred all our requirements: service, position, quietness. We had a room with a wonderful view of the sea and the esplanade. Thank you to the staff at Aguado for making it such a pleasant three days. We would definitely choose it again.

The hotel is well located but for the price we paid, it was disappointing. The hotel looks very tired and old fashioned with uncomfortable mattresses, no air conditioning or ventilation in the room. There was a bad smell in the corridors. I would not stay there again.

Nice hotel facing sea at one side and town at the other. Very pleasant staff. Nice room on town side which although small had 2 easy chairs! Fridge, kettle etc,good storage and comfortable bed. No air con so with a window open it was fairly noisy. Sea view rooms looked larger and bright with a view over a road and promenade to the sea.
Good value and great for a few days.

The location is perfect - between the town and quay on one side and the promenade along the seafront on the other. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped and newly decoated. the breakfast was great - excellent selection of ffods and all very good and fresh. I would recommend a sea-facing room - the city rooms havea good view but are noisy if you keep the windows open during the night.

2 nights in Dieppe.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is very clean which made up for it being rather dated. Also very noisy at the back of the hotel.. the sea view was lovely but workmen were very noisy at 7am. They appeared to be removing some temporary buildings on the green outside so this may have been bad luck on our part.
The staff were lovely, happy and friendly.
I would stay again for this reason .

Definitely not what was advertised. The hotel room was very small. One over night staff was over the top and annoyed my soul. The leave the room card at the desk while coming in and out was very concerning. However, I will admit the location was terrific.

Memories are made of this.

I have stayed at the Aguado many times over the years, have known the family who run it through the generations.I go to Dieppe to attend the kite festivals every 2 years and as the hotel overlooks the area,it’s perfect and also is well appointed-right in the town centre, harbour and bus stops. It is a very well run welcoming hotel,
Breakfast is very good and they have aNepresso coffee machine need I say more.

Cool Beachtown Place!

Room just over an arch where traffic went, but not that bad. Great access to beach and town action and the cliffs. Generally very fave. They kept our stuff as we waited to check in and after checking out...a huge boon.

I think the rooms have been refitted since the photos and the wet room/ bathroom was lovely. Convienent location, easy parking and clean hotel overall. Only downside, I’m gluten free and there was very little that was suitable at the breakfast buffet. Ps. Restaurant next to the hotel’s city entrance was immense. Enjoy

Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, room was a good size and all very clean. Breakfast was all fresh and plentiful. Location couldn't be better, just a few metres away from shops, bars, restaurants and beach. We had been concerned it could be noisy due to the location - but this wasn't the case.

Only a one night stay, before the ferry, bank holiday so Dieppe and the Hotel was full. Hotel was very pleasant, staff friendly. Breakfast had a good choice, but was a bit chaotic due probably to the amount of people. Half hour earlier or later, probably fine. Great position, very close to the sea in one direction, the harbour and all the restaurants in the other.

Forget the \"same-looking\" hotel chains, this is a family run hotel, slightly old-fashioned possibly, but very clean, extremely comfy and quiet,and the staff is amazingly friendly. The rooms may make you think that you are staying at your grandmother's house, but they've got all the comfort you will need (for instance I haven't seen so many TV Channels in a hotel before, even the 5 stars ones), the bathroom was bright and huge - unlike the tiny cupboard bathroom you may find with some famous chains; so ... overall, a great great stay in the city center, one minute walk from all your best restaurants! Highly recommended!

This was a stopover to honour Canadians who died here in 1942. Just one night as we travelled from Vimy to Juno Beach.
Difficult to navigate Dieppe's old streets and one-ways but we found the place. It's on the beachfront so ideally located to visit the landing site on foot. Decent continental breakfast and friendly staff.

The Aguado Hotel is a very clean and comfortable hotel in the perfect spot in Dieppe, on the seafront and very close to the harbour, the cafes and restaurants and the main shops. The staff are excellent and speak French and English clearly. The hotel even has a pleasant bar if you want a nightcap! A good continental, buffet style breakfast is also available in your room or in the dining area. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Dieppe!

Found hotel to be very adequate for an overnight stay being close to he town centre, beach and eating facilities. Room was comfortable although bathroom was small and good manipulation was required. Shower was also not easy to enter or leave. The staff were very accommodating and breakfast was enough to get you going on a morning. Parking was quite a game of finding a spot among many as it was free to everyone but the hotel do have a few reserved for them only on a first come first served basis. Would use again if travelling that way.

My stay at the Aguado Hotel Dieppe

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and kind and the room with sea view was fantastic. My only criticism I would say was the fact that there are no safes in the hotel rooms. Breakfast was good, but there are no staff in the breakfast area meaning sometimes other people's leftovers are still on the tables when you arrive for breakfast.
A special mention should go to Loic who was amazing and was so helpful.

A really well presented and maintained hotel in a great location overlooking the beach and seafront, and backing on the harbour and old town of Dieppe. Room was roomy and excellent, and staff could not be more helpful. The breakfast was the standard continental and good value for 10Euro, but even better was the breakfast room faced the sea. Looking forward to going back...

Well situated, good value, quiet hotel. Easy access to buses and railway station. Our ferry left at 6pm so with some time to kill on our final day we were most grateful to be allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel. The staff were efficient, friendly and spoke excellent english. All in all a good experience. Would definately go there again.

A busy time in Dieppe!

We had a pleasant stay in Dieppe. It was very busy as we had unknowingly arrived in the middle of the bi-annual Kite Festival! So traffic was hectic and parking was an issue. You have to park in certain areas overnight that are free. We found it unusual that we had to leave our room key at the reception desk every time we went out and pick it up upon our return. However the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was nice and the location of the hotel is very convenient. You could easily walk to the waterfront, the castle and other historic sites as well as restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again.

Very pleased overall however as it was warm had to sleep with windows open - at rear of building and so noisy our sleep was disrupted - suffered the heat for the next to nights and slept much better; can't fault cleanliness of rooms, standard of cleaning and the staff were attentive and helpful at all times.

Bath must have been put in by a midget - really small and very difficult to move around in, if you wanted to lie down you and to lift your legs out and put them up the wall; there was a shower but it couldn't be used as no shower curtain or screen.

It does what it says on the tin. Room description was perfectly accurate, small and very clean. we traveled as a mature couple and stayed in a city view double. There was a fair bit of traffic noise during the day but this was to be expected as there was a very large and impressive fairground on the promenade foreground. No air-con, so closing the windows muted the traffic but resulted in a slightly stuffy atmosphere. All very bearable, the city view gives a view of the yacht marina which proved to be most pleasant. Breakfast was good, taken in a room with a lovely sea view. The staff were very good - nothing was too much bother. Their language skills were impressive, one receptionist in particular (an English lady), was simultaneously talking to a taxi firm on the phone while dealing with an elderly French couple and an irate Canadian guy who couldn't find a parking space. She coped perfectly without fuss or fluster. Excellent value for a 3 star. Will return.

Overall really great place to stay, stay were friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd mark it down on was the WiFi was a bit rubbish but the room we were given had a great view and huge windows. Some of the decor is a little dated but just pretend you are in a Moore era, Bond movie. Would stay there again.

A hotel with a superb, welcoming atmosphere. It's not the most modern of hotels; there is no air conditioning, so you have to leave the windows open and the seagulls can be noisy, but we didn't see this as a major problem. The bathroom was a little cramped, but otherwise fine. Comfortable bed, extra pillows, extra towels provided on request, staff incredibly helpful; we are already planning to stay there again.
