Our stay was ok. Receptionist very pleasant.Parking was good,breakfast was nice. Rooms very dated. Toilet was dirty, brown stains in the base of the pan and at the back. Needed a good clean. No air con which is needed in the summer heat.

Basic but comfortable hotel.

A fairly basic hotel. Rooms rather gloomy owing to small single windows.
Good sized comfortable bed and adequate washroom. Restaurant offers reasonable food at a fair price, but breakfast is a bit patchy - bread and pastries not the freshest, scrambled eggs only edible if you get there at dawn! Fair selction of cereals, fruit, cooked meat and cheese. Coffee drinkable but not strong enough. Reception and cleaning staff pleasant and efficient
Private car park with CCTV a great asset and proximity to Auchan hypermarket could not be more convenient.

I made several requests to add a further traveller to this booking and eventually received a negative and rude reply, and I was forced to seek alternative accommodation. I wish to take legal steps against this hotel if I do not receive a refund. This was a dreadful experience.

Convenient for ferry

Good for an overnight stay. We arrived late from the ferry but bar still open. The room was a bit cramped but clean. Bathroom good size and clean. Sound proofing could be better. Surprisingly good breakfast. Free parking by the hotel.

Disappointing.

Disappointing. From the outside the hotel looks very run down and tatty.
Reception service was begrudgingly offered and no mention was made of the fact that the restaurant was closed. I was only told at 7.00 in the evening, four hours later and that there was a restaurant a short walk away.

It was an unscheduled stay due to cancelled ferry. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Good varied menu in the bar. Food was excellent. Left at 5 am so didn’t have breakfast but it was all set out ready if you needed it.

Nicely placed for an overnight stay following a late arrival from the Newhaven -Dieppe ferry.

The room had an ajoining door to the next room. The occupant's cigarrete smoke filtered under the door and into our non smoking room. Otherwise the room was comfortable and the toilet/showering facilities were very good.

THe place was like a furnace, no air con which is very poor in this day and age.they told us we can open the window but when we did the room became full of flying insects. Very disappointing as the prices to stay are far lower further down in France and they all have air con. Will not recommend to friends for stopover in the summer months.

Pleasant hotel convenient location

I’ve stayed in this hotel several times and it always leaves a lasting impression. Close to the port and shopping centres conveniently situated and family in La Bourg Dun is only a 20 mins drive from hotel. Staff are always friendly, room is always clean and comfortable and the shower works every time!

This hotel is good value for money. There are some drawbacks to it like there is no facilities in the room for having a drink, ( tea or coffee ). I had to go to the restaurant each time I wanted hot water or a coffee, which I was charged for. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The food is excellent and a good choice is given at both meals. I would return.

Woken up early by other guests several times who didn't realise the doors slam shut automatically unless held. There were English channels on the TV but both were claiming no signal or poor picture. It was quite late and we didn't want to bother staff with this.

Good value, convenient overnight ferry stop.

As a one night stopover before we got the ferry back from Dieppe it was good value. Easily reached (a couple of km from the sea front), good parking, compact but very clean room, good continental breakfast. It's next to an Auchan which could be very useful. Very warm weather meant lack of air conditioning was noticeable but don't imagine this is generally a major problem.

Unfortunately we were given a smoker's room and it was obvious from the odour as soon as we stepped in. The hotel did switch us to non smoking when we went back to the reception and also showed us the quickest way to the ferry, through town. Ample parking and a comfortable bed and a meal at the best fish restaurant in town made getting up at 4.30 for the ferry bearable.

Great value hotel for overnight before catching overnight ferry back to Newhaven. A little out the way, but if you have car less than 10 minutes from port.

Personnel à la réception le samedi matin très accueillant. On ne peut en dire autant de celui du soir. Expérience décevante au regard du prix payé pour un hôtel IBIS 3 étoiles. Qualité très moyenne des équipements de la chambre très petite : isolation phonique de mauvaise qualité, pas de prises de courant en tête de lit, couchage non confortable, surmatelas plus grand que le matelas (risque de chute en s'asseyant sur le bord du lit), banquette cassée, pied de table cassé et incliné à cause de la banquette, télécommande TV hors service, salle de bains vétuste sans étagères accessibles pour y poser les affaires de toilette, éclairage salle de bains défectueux, toiles d'araignées en extérieur à l'ouverture de la fenêtre.
Au petit déjeuner, pas de grille-pain à disposition et manque de choix. Personnel peu agréable.

Peu vraiment mieux faire.

Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas été satisfaits. Les éclairages du lit ne fonctionnaient pas, le cache pile de la tv était absent, les piles sont souvent tombées. Certaines chaînes tv ne fonctionnaient pas. Ce n’est pas méchant mais à signaler. La chambre vraiment petite mais on n’y est que pour dormir ! Par contre, la salle de bain est vraiment nulle. Ce n’est pas une baignoire mais un sabot !où j’ai failli tomber tellement elle est haute. Elle est vraiment dangereuse. Et de plus elle est glissante. Je confirme elle est vraiment dangereuse. Et aucune poignée pour s’aider à en sortir. Et les Wc sont accolés au mur, pas top ! Par contre, on a apprécié la literie qui était très confortable (lit en 160). J’aurais bien voulu tout signaler mais la réceptionniste n’a pas demandé si tout c’était bien passé.

Auch wenn nur für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise erwarte ich bei dem Preis wenigstens Sauberkeit. Das Zimmer hat total feucht und muffig gerochen, alles war klamm und dreckig.

Het schoonmaken kan beter. Overal lag stof en haren.

Ontbijt was van 6:30 tot 10:00, maar werd na 8:45 al niet meer bijgevuld. Dat was erg jammer. Dus de 1e dag slechts weinig onthijt gehad.
Andere dagen gezorgd dat we er om 8 uur waren. Toen was er nog wel genoeg.

Kamers wel erg gehorig maar dat is meestal zo daar :)
Personeel was wel vriendelijk.
