Customer service was amazing the gentleman that checked us in helped us greatly the room was clean and everything was how it should be I would recommend this hotel to anyone including my closest friends and family the price point was very reasonable and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had since before Covid if I travel to Boothbay Harbor this is the only hotel I’ll stay at!!!

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable & the staff was inattentive and disinterested in solving a problem with the TV that we had. I love Boothbay Harbor & visit frequently...now we may just be making day trips, because this is one of the only places to stay in town! Definitely not worth the price per night...

Check in was less than satisfactory. I was texted no less than five times to ask about check in and what time I'd be there. Then was advised office hours were limited. I saw nothing during booking that would have made me consider this. I found out the office was only open until 8:30pm. Then the man called me to push me into cutting my evening plans short so he could close the office and go home. Everyone else had checked in, so he was ready to leave. Mind you, I'm on vacation. I'm traveling. I have tickets to a show in town at a specific time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

the heat was off when we entered the room. It was 36 degrees. The heater was unbelievely loud making it almost impossible to sleep. The bathroom door,s top hinge was very loose so the door would not close. Perhaps if the restaurant was open (closed for season but not stated and charged $2 for Breakfast) breakfast would have been different. It was a tiny nook with 3 metal chairs and a small metal table. Small selection with nothing I wanted to eat. Room was okay. Of the many hotels we have stayed at, this is the only poor review I have ever given.

The room was clean, staff was friendly, and was a good deal for the money. Although the room seemed updated with relatively fresh paint and looked nice, there were a few things that could be improved upon:
- It looks like the light above the sink was recently replaced. However, the was was new refinished around the light, which had a smaller footprint.
- There are several cracks between the ceiling and the wall.
- The bureau has peeling laminate on the front edge.
- The HVAC was LOUD, to the pont where we had to turn it off. Fortunately, the room stayed warm enough for sleeping purposes.
- At around 4 AM we started hearing mechanical noises, like sneakers being tossed around in a clothes dryer. I'm not sure what was below is or where the noise was coming from, but it made it difficult to get back to sleep.

Most of these issues were not a big deal, but just makes it seem like someone isn't keeping up with the maintenance like they should.

I did not try the included breakfast.

For the money and a decent location, it wasn't bad and not bad for a night.

I would give this 5 stars, but...

The good: very pet friendly. The rooms are well suited for pets, and BONUS: there's an amazing pretty park literally right next door over a pretty wood bridge - there are loops from 1/2 to 2 miles. Bed was comfy. There were ample outlets, lots of bedside lights. Towels were very nice, water was very warm. Staff were very friendly. The cute as can be fridge and microwave were great - and it had a real live separate freezer on the fridge! 10 + brownie points!

The problems: The heater was either FULL BLAST making the place a furnace in 10 minutes, or OFF. That was it. So we were up a number of times at night to turn it on for a bit (were there end of October). Also - TV had no remote (!!). There was one for the cable, but not for the TV so couldn't control volume or channels (looked it up - that TV only as an ON and OFF button). We wanted to watch the Dodgers / Jays game and has to use our phone. Boo.

Overall very good value given other local choices are gouging the living heck out of travelers. Thanks for being there Flagship!

OK ROOM. Not a lot of attention to detail. (eg= towel racks replaced, w old holes where it used to be attached unfilled or painted.
Clean and quiet - except for the morning where some putz was using chainsaw!
Not overly warm or friendly manager but competent - does not think outside the box very well. So as long as you are not asking for any flexibility (eg late check out), you'll be fine.
Grocery store and gas across the highway and some rooms quite quiet.
I was in Booth Harbor late Oct,0- most stores closed, or early close.
1 mi. walk to the Harbor.
IF you want to stay on the water, look at The Tugboat Inn IF worth 40--50 more per day.
But this place is adequate if you want to save $.

They went above and beyond when my earring dropped down the sink. The maintenance man came quickly and was able to retrieve it. Everyone was kind and friendly only downside was no hangers or place to hang clothes no closet rack.

Bathroom on the small side and dated but room was nicely decorated and close to the harbor where we had the best lobster rolls ever at Booth Bay Lobster Wharf and excellent ice cream a short walk away at Scoops. Also nice to have a good hot breakfast included. We’d stay here again.

Room clean on arrival. Housekeeper came once, told her to come back in about half hour--room was never cleaned. Found electrical outlet plates missing. Plenty of pillows! Room comfortable. Arrived hour before checkin..desk clerk was not very friendly--very blunt. Told me check in was at 3:00 and to come back.I asked him if we could talk, and he said I could talk to him, but it would cost $50 if I wanted to check in now and to come back in an hourl Lady who checked me in at 3:10 was very friendly. Room was nice, clean and comfortable--nothing exceptional.

The outside was refurbished. Not quite the inside. Beds were old and saggy. anyone could bust through the window very easily. It’s supposed to be 3 ⭐️s but I don’t think it’s even 2 ⭐️. They did serve daily breakfast which I guess was ok. Plenty of parking and gas station across the street was convenient. Probably will not book them again.

Guest above were extremely noisy, we had to share with front desk multiple times. The front desk did handle it professionally.

We believe that hotel has bed bugs as we had multiple bites on us after staying at the hotel. It seemed cleaned and we understand this can happen, but they need to be aware to fix the issue.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Horrible and unsafe check in process, hidden fees. The hotel emailed me saying that you can’t check in after 6pm or they will forfeit your reservation, but to call and let them know if you will arrive after 6pm. I called the hotel and was rerouted to a third party service in India. The representative told me someone would be on site to check me in until 11pm. I felt weird about this call, as the caller did not say what hotel they represented, nor did they ask for my name. I also emailed the hotel to let them know. I arrived at 9:30pm and the lobby was locked up and no one was there. Alone in the dark, I had to use a ring doorbell, which connected me to the third party call center in India. The service was HORRIBLE and I couldn’t hear the woman. Eventually I was given a code to open a lockbox, which I was greeted my 10 other sets of keys for everyone else’s room! So unsafe. The caller kept asking for my credit card information, even though I already prepaid. Super sketchy and I would not recommend giving any credit card information. The hotel was trying to tack on extra cleaning and “resort” fees I later learned. Very inhospitable and super unwelcoming and very unsafe. No cleaning service throughout our stay. Stay anywhere in Boothbay but here. Awful experience, worst check in experience of my life. No one actually works here, it’s just run by a call center in India.

Easy check in. Staff were very attentive. Room had been recently updated and was nice and cozy. Exceptionally clean. Free breakfast was excellent. Only downside was the bedding. Sheets were not the softest and there was a single thin bedspread. My husband was fine but I run cold. I’m sure I could have gotten more blankets from the front desk - as mentioned staff was very attentive - but opted to use a sleeping bag I had in my car.

As other reviews stated, it was very clean and well kept. Easy parking, areas with chairs to hang out, walking distance to family dollar & local supermarket, as well as other little shops. front desk gentleman was very helpful when we called (2x!) to say we would be arriving much later than anticipated. I highly recommend This hotel. We had two full size? Or queen beds for 2 people and plenty of room for our luggage.
