Incredible service, amazing staff, and great food and drinks. La Boca Olas is the top place to stay in el Tunco beach, and probably anywhere in La Libertad. Everything is kept clean and tidy in the rooms and on the grounds. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful answering questions about the area and arranging tours. Our room was very comfortable and spotless every day.

I really enjoyed the safety and customer service offered at Boca Olas. The grounds are very beautiful and make the stay very worth it. We enjoyed spending time at the pool and the breakfast restaurant area with views of the bay. The location is perfect and walking distance to any main attraction. The stay at Boca olas was ok. Issues: when hotel cleaned room they used wax to clean tile. Myself almost slipped badly and when I had my 16 month old walking in the room slipped when crawling causing injury.
We had to call the room service in again to remove the wax from the floor to be able to walk on the floor.
When we came back to the room with our beds being made we noticed they did not replace the sheets and simply remade the bed with existing sheets. With the amount of money being paid the sheets should be removed everyday for new ones. Noticed that beds still had sand after they were just cleaned, we had to shake our sheets and make beds ourselves in order to remove sand.
Beautiful location and pristine upkeep on property grounds. Pools are very clean and swim up bar is a must.

The location is Excellent because it’s a good short walk to Playa Tunco and yet it’s still quite not to hear the activities going on over there making a perfect setting to get a restful night sleep. I would recommend and return to Boca Olas any time we return to El Salvador. I have visited various beaches and resorts and this one has topped it off. The staff was helpful and prompt. The food from the restaurant was divine. You honestly did not need to leave the premises. You have it all here. The boardwalk is super accessible.

The grounds were beautiful. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless. We stayed in the Villa Johanna and it was very spacious. It had a living room, kitchen area completely separate from the bedroom. There weren't too many plates or bowls but it was functional for what we needed. The free breakfast was excellent. Alcoholic drinks were expensive as well as the other meals but the neighboring area had a lot of different options that were more affordable. The resort could use some additional lounge chairs. There were days where people would lay out their towels on the chairs and disappear and we would not have anywhere to lay down. We still had a beautiful stay at Boca Olas and would recommend it to anyone going to El Salvador.

The staff at this property were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our driver, navigating a 15-passenger van, had no trouble dropping us off or picking us up. As a small resort, the team was able to provide personalized service, remembering each of us and promptly handling all our requests. We only tried their breakfast (which was included), and it was excellent—much better than the typical resorts! Another highlight was the resort’s location in the heart of El Tunco. The beach, shops, and restaurants were all within walking distance. We also felt very safe, even walking around at night, thanks to the presence of guards at all times.
