Clean room, decent food at the restaurant give them a 7 out 10, high prices per plate nothing special, lobby offers no entertainment at night, bar or restaurant closed early like 8pm, also the rooms has no microwave, small mini fridge can’t barely fit a 6 pack of beers and no extra coffees in the room. Clean room but bathroom and jacuzzis were dirty with mold.

The hotel has an amazing view, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. However, my experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. Upon arrival, the receptionist came across as aggressive and immediately warned that we would be charged for everything, including a $50 fee if we lost the key card. While I understand policies like this, the tone used was not professional and set a negative first impression.
Now please note most employees were nice.

When we got to our room, the shower only had hot water. To fix the issue, maintenance had to shut off the main valve and turn off the hot water for the entire building, so we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room had its own problems. The tub wasn’t turning on so I had to call maintenance again to turn it on ;
Maintenance had to come again and fill it using the main valve.

The “hot tub” was just cold water, despite being advertised as a hot tub.

The bathroom smells like sewer

Overall the views are amazing but I had better experiences in other hotels in the area, to me is not worth the price

Marjorie, the manager, was incredibly helpful and kind. All the massages were booked for Sunday, but when a cancellation came up, she personally found me to let me know—great customer service.

The spa was very relaxing, and the room had a beautiful view. The restaurant was good for both breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend the stuffed fish or lobster.

I would definitely stay here again. Every staff member was friendly and always greeted you, which made the experience even better.

The place is beautiful with an amazing ocean view. The restaurant staff was very friendly, and the free breakfast every morning was a great bonus. I ordered the stuffed lobster with shrimp twice—it was that good.

They offer liquor service and room service, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Both pools are nice, with comfortable seating areas where you can order food and drinks right from the pool.

Overall, it’s a great hotel with excellent service. It was my first time in El Salvador, and I loved that there were plenty of food spots nearby and even a club within close distance.

This is a nice little hideaway although the hotel only has 22 rooms, it is an oasis. My visit to the property is doing a dry season and when beach access from the property is closed. The staff arranged transportation to and from the beach. The staff was attentive, courteous, and kind. I look forward to return visit.

Negative points : the urine odor in bathroom due to sewage system , no hot water in rooms , no telephones in rooms , minimal cooked to order breakfast , charging for early check in and late check out despite the hotel being not crowded, a young girl in reception wearing eyeglasses is neither polite nor friendly, nothing to visit nearby.

King sized rooms have stunning views with balconies to enjoy. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Always at your service and attentive. We also received massages and the masseuse was great. I wish the pool was cleaned a little more throughout the day since the breeze can blow leaves/bugs into the infinity pool. What a beautiful experience and we hope to be back.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Los Farallones. The staff was so incredible. They were absolutely so kind and available even when it was a busy weekend for the Easter holiday in El Salvador.
The grounds are gorgeous and really taken care of, it just seems like they think of everything to keep the space beautiful.
The spa treatment was a 10/10, so relaxing and amazing. The food was delicious!
If you stay there, TIP THE STAFF, please!

It's terrible that there's no beach access, this is permanently closed, and on Expedia it's advertised that there's a private beach. This was the worst, if you book a beach hotel, you expect to enjoy the beach.

This was one of the most enjoyable experience in El.Salvador. the hotel has an amazing ocean view, the staff at the restaurant was incredible, very friendly and served us well. Katia, Anderson, Gerson, Albert and Wilfredo really treated us like family during the 9 days we were there. Noemy, the maid in charge of cleaning our room was amazing clean everyday. There 3 pools at the property and were so much fun. I am coming back to this hotel and I highly recommend it.

Our stay was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Roberto the manager truly made the experience exceptional — he was always attentive, constantly checking in and asking how our experience could be even better. That level of care makes all the difference.

The waiters, especially Wilfer, Edwin, Emerson, and the rest of the team, were beyond outstanding. They were always ready to help with a smile, making us feel welcomed and valued at every moment. Their warmth and professionalism did not go unnoticed.

The entire place feels like a perfect summer beach escape, yet at the same time it feels like home. The facilities are beautifully maintained and you can tell there is pride in every detail. Even the gardener was always present, smiling, and clearly loving his job — that positive energy is contagious.

I truly cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. It was an absolute pleasure staying there, and I highly, highly recommend it.

If I had one small observation, it would be to include a little more Salvadoran music to enhance the local vibe — that would make the atmosphere even more perfect!

Hotel Los Farallones is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are lush and well kept, the pools are gorgeous, and the ocean views are unbeatable. It’s the kind of place that instantly puts you in vacation mode.

What really made our stay special was the amazing service. Wilfredo and Edwin were so attentive and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly made the experience unforgettable.

They lost electricity on both days I was there. My electrical outlets needed to be changed, my ac did not work upon arrival until the evening, my jacuzzi jets had to be fixed. I basically had someone repairing items in my room the first day. No phones in the room and the message service is HARD to get a hold off. Someone came to abruptly bang hard on my door at 5am and 3am and I couldn’t sleep bc of fear of someone trying to break in through my sliding terrace door which also had a broken lock, I had no one to call and they didn’t respond to my message until 830am the next day. Eduardo from the restaurant and Elizabeth from the spa were the only 2 positives from my stay. The food was nice but other than Eduardo it took an hour just to get a hold of the restaurant staff. In the pictures it shows access to the beach but there is none at all, you cant even see sand at ANY time of the day. The natural pool in the pictures, is dry and broken. I would not recommend this place at all.

For the price of $200+ per day, the room was small, dark and had no view to the ocean. The features of the place being advertised are not available and /or simply do not exist. 1. No private beach as advertised (in fact, no access to the beach at all) When I inquired about it, the receptionists replied that the nearest walking beach was about 15 minutes away. 2. Salt water pools were not available . The staff indicated that the pools had not been repaired in months. 3. There was not a coffee maker in the room as advertised 4. WiFi was spotty 5. Breakfast was not included and food was pricey.
Overall, the Farallones Hotel is overpriced based on the limited amenities available to the guest. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone, particularly to my family and friends who are will be visiting El Salvador in the coming months.

The Staff was amazing but not enough people working. Took an hr to order drinks, and no plates get picked up Pool side till the end of the night. We’re not the type of couple to complain but our bedroom door moved back and forth with every wave which made it impossible to get any rest at night.

The rooms were very spacious for a double bed room , very clean and smelled good! They accommodated us to a different room after we reported a faulty light and a leak in the bathroom . They were very prompt with repairs The staff was a bit short staffed at the restaurant later in the day so for dinner we just did room service . The rooms service was outstanding very quick and the food was delicious . We ordered a mar y Tierra (beef and shrimp ) at around 9:30 pm and they made it happen promptly ! Thr best form of communication was through the QR code to their Whats app . The views here are amazing! You won’t regret the quiet and cozy location .

Hotel Farallones was fantastic. It was about a 4 minute car ride from El Tunco. The location is stunning and the service was great. It also felt very safe with 24 hour security at the gate. We rented a car, so it was nice to come and go when we pleased.

This was my third time visiting this hotel. The overall set up and maintenance of the property is good. The staff at the front has always been friendly. The staff working the bar/ restaurant could be better. I stayed two nights and the bartender the first night was amazing! He came by the pool, asked us if we wanted drinks. He would stop by often to see if needed additional drinks or other services. The second night was not that good, we spend over an hour by the second pool and not once did anyone come by asking us if wanted to order drinks or food. This could all be due to staffing levels, however attention details makes people want to comeback. There is no clear signs that I could see pointing us in the direction of where the gym was located.

Great customer service, beautiful view from the hotel, its on a cliff, you can see how the waves hit on the rocks...unfortunately there's no beach at this time to swim at front of the hotel due to the high waves the ocean have been form since February and also the salt water swimming pool is closed and this is the same with all the hotels the are located on the cliffs, but they have 3 nice swimming pools in the resort. I stayed in a room with jacuzzi but is with cold water...breakfast buffet is not included and cost $14.95 per person, which I didn't included.

Considering the price, this was very disappointing. Especially since I considered the hotel beside it which is much better. The staff were nice enough, the showers were hot and the AC worked well. The room was very small , no beach access from here and the grounds are limited. It is ok but I feel there are better options close by.
