Room 12 bed near bathroom. I woke up and looked down at the fitted sheet and saw infestation of bed bugs and alot of bites on my body. Manger doesnt care. Doctor said I've a server reaction from the bed bug bites. I got a antibiotic & steroid pills and cream. They still itch alot.

the ratings received of 7.5 were likely based on price as was cheapest motel in town. needs some tlc in rooms and around property including carpets, walls, shower cracks and possibly mold. if put some$ into property would likely compare to most of other motels in Panguitch

I called the motel for making sure I will get a wheelchair accessible room. I am a paraplegic paralyzed from waist down using a wheelchair for ambulation. I cannot walk. No rooms at the motel were wheelchair accessible. The doors were too narrow, big step at the rooms entrance and there was no way to use the shower. The motel agreed to refund my reservation. However Expedia was not able to talk to the Motel as nobody picks up the phone. As a result I did not get the refund. Please do not ruin your trip and stay at Color Country Motel and do not use Expedia for reservations as they do not provide any support.

The room was cosy and had necessary equipment and furnature as needed as a traveller, i.e. AC, fan, fridge and microwave. I liked to open the window fro fresh air circulation.

It was good for a budget stay but one of the lights wasn't working, and at first the AC wasn't working. It kept giving the error code e0. We fixed it by unplugging the unit for 10 minutes and then plugging it back in, and it worked for the rest of our two night stay. The lock to the window was broken.
The room was clean and odor-free. No smoke smells or otherwise.

This was my third time booking this hotel, but due to changes in my travel plans, I had to cancel the previous two reservations. This time, I finally stayed here for the first time—and it far exceeded my expectations.

I run a hotel in Los Angeles myself, so I believe my perspective is quite objective. While this is a classic old-style motel, the room facilities and cleanliness really impressed me. The bedding was especially comfortable. The older-style air conditioning unit was quieter than expected, but given the higher elevation and cool nights, I didn’t need it at all—the room stayed perfectly comfortable.

The in-room Wi-Fi, bathroom amenities, and water pressure were all excellent. I also appreciated the convenience of having a microwave, mini-fridge, and other thoughtful touches. For anyone visiting Bryce Canyon, this is definitely a great choice.

There’s a supermarket right across the street and another just a 2-minute drive away, which makes it even more convenient. Highly recommended!

The reviews gave this hotel an 8 review. I give it more like a 4 or 5. The price was good. The room was clean, yet smelled. Everything in the room was old. We did not have a good nights sleep. The shower was okay and the bathroom okay, yet the bathroom was old with a broken window.

You can hear the floors creak from the rooms above, making it hard to fall asleep. Beds are on the firm side. Housekeeping was observed not taking used pillow cases off the pillows while cleaning room for next customer.

It was a good stay for the price, which was great. We were able to park motorcycles close by which is always appreciated. The lights from the parking lot were a little bright through the window, so some heavier curtains could fix that easily and make the room much darker. Otherwise it was a good lodging.

It's an older motel that is nicely maintained. Rooms were a good size, and clean. Has TV, coffee pots, microwave, hair dryer and fridge. Nice toiletries. It's across the street from the Family Dollar, so it's an easy walk to pick up items.Great value for the price. Recommend.

Room was OK for the price, but owner inserted himself into our room when getting ready to check out half hour before check out time. He grabbed the TV remote, changed some channels, opened and shut drawers, generally wandered around. He counted and took money left as a tip for room cleaning staff despite request he leave it. Spend a few dollars more.

I travel alot and have visited many hotels and this rates among the most disappointing. I typically don't expect much from a budget motel, but this place was just bad. To begin, I had to wait 10 minutes for a clerk to arrive at the front desk to check me in. Once in my room, I found it to be filthy. Gack stuck on the furniture, carpet was filthy. Built up soap scum in the shower. Shower head was barely at shoulder height. Water was luke warm. TV didn't work. The owners kid was playing ball in the parking lot and batted a tennisball off the hood of my new car. Dirty paper towels were left on the furniture. I just finished a week long in 3 National Parks and just needed a place to rest and clean myself up, but this place gave me the creeps

The place was filthy, black hair all over in the tub, the bathroom floor had not bee cleaned for a very long time. the carpet was filthy. Couldn't get the tv to work. It was bad and I will never go there again. There was no excuse to have a place that dirty for rent. I felt dirty when I left and will never go back. I do go to that town a few times a year but will never stay there again!

We stayed here twice - once on the way to our destination and on the return trip. First room was nice than the second, but both were essentially the same - clean, quiet, no frills but very affordable. Service was great, location is great, no bugs.

For $50 this hotel is great! The staff was incredibly friendly and they had no issues with us bringing our cat. They also accomodated us with putting two rooms together when that wasn't an option booking online.
Rooms were clean and yes, the hotel is dated but if it wasn't, it wouldn't be $50.
Also, there were 3 beds in one room and 2 in the other, I checked each bed and there were no signs of any bugs.
I think the majority of people who cry bed bug, don't actually know what they look like.
