The staff was a little odd and they took a picture of my credit card and ID even tho I paid beforehand online so I’m a little concerned. The room was also dirty so we didn’t end up staying there and left without being able to get a refund. I seriously am concerned about them taking a picture of my cards when I asked not too, they just ignored my request

We do not have heat. The only heat source is a small wall space heater. It’s 25 degree Fahrenheit outside . It’s supposed to get down to 20 tonight. This is miserable and the thought of checking out to find another place is miserable when you think about packing and reloading the car.

the room had hair EVERYWHERE - bed sheets, walls, even the towels. we could not stay the night as the management did not think the hair was an issue, and in fact showed up with a lint roller to remove it, as if that qualifies as cleaning. shocking disregard for cleanliness, as if bedding changes are not a requirement for a hotel... do not stay here

1. Advertised pet friendly and then they charge me an extra $10 for the pet.
2. No Tissue/Kleenex box
3. Be Warned - heating is from a wall/space heater on the other side of the bedroom. Even when cranked to the max 86° the room stayed very very cold very very uncomfortable. I am going to be asking for a refund from hotels.com.
4. 30 minutes into my stay, the power went off in the room. It took them about another half an hour to monkey around what was going on. The maintenance guy or gal was clueless. I had to tell them to check the circuit breaker panel, which was the problem breaker tripped.
5. Towels dirty/stained. Disgusting. They must not know of the chemical bleach.
6. Shower Head was loose and sprayed water everywhere!
7. Shower ceiling was dirty with yellow stains. Gross.
8. There is no continental breakfast.
9. Overall, unless they're only vacancy in town, I'm not gonna be staying here anytime soon.
10. The coat rack is above the microwave – ridiculous - unusable.

Nice beds and sheets. The rooms need to be refurbished with paint and certain amenities to make them more comfortable and hospitable. This is an old motel which needs a fix up although it is basically sound. Even a minimum do over would be nice. On the positive side the beds were comfortable and the manager was friendly and helpful

This is a vintage motel in a very small town. Though a bit dated, it was a very clean and quiet room with a friendly manager who personally made sure we liked the room and had everything we needed. When we found the only hotel room available in Bryce Canyon was going to be $300 we decided to drive 20 minutes to Panguitch and found this gem for around $80.

TERRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE!!! When I got here, I was in room 8, and immediately when I walked in, it smelled so bad of urine. All of the windows were open, which leads to believe that they were aware. The fridge was also warm. I told staff I wanted a new room, and he said since I “used” the sink (me checking for hot water) he was not going to get another room at first. I kept pushing and finally got room 1, which is the best suite they have. The pictures shown below are the pictures from the “best suite.” This was a disgusting place do not book!

Great place for a quick trip.

In between Bryce Canyon and Mt Zion, a really convenient location.
Such a fantastic welcome, super friendly manager. We arrived, checked in, management came to the door and made sure everything was in good condition, to us. I asked where the ice machine was, he opened the door for the ice room while I was holding 2 water cups and the furnished ice bucket. He even asked if he could fill it for me. 5 stars for friendly manager. The room was good, comfortable bed, clean shower, and close to really good restaurant.

We stayed in Rm#10, a corner room next to the ice machine and the dog \"Walk\" area. Despite being in an earlier era Motel facility, the room had been refurbished (as had all the rooms at the motel) and the buildings were recently painted. The room we had was larger than expected with 2 Queens, a refrig, microwave and sink and counter. The bathroom was nicely done with sink and counter tops all new and there was a large walk in shower. The town of Panguitch is an older small town with multiple older era motels to choose from and I feel we made an excellent choice. The place is pet friendly and the charge is $10.00 per pet per night which is a bargain compared to the $25.00 per pet fee at the Comfort Inn in Beaver, Utah. I highly recommend tis place. The room and property was well maintained and the beds were more comfortable that the beds in the forementioned Comfort Inn.

Property and room were shabby. Needed alot of repairs. Heater in the room did not work so they gave us a space heater. There was a stain on the sheet. The pet area was just a few weeds and dirt with shabby chairs. The man at the desk was nice, but difficult to understand. The bathroom was clean but had old fixtures and little space around the sink. We paid the same $ for this room that we paid at a Marriott in Provo. It was definitely over priced

Mixed feelings about this place. Owner was very friendly. Showed us two rooms and let us choose. We chose the one with a freezer in the top of the fridge. There’s a sign on the back of the room door that says absolutely no cooking in room per order of the fire department.We couldn’t use our air fryer. Made the stay more expensive.The shower had some mold growing in it walls needed to be scrubbed and the floors were dirty ( found out when we spilled some water and wiped up) but it was cheap. microfiber bed sheets make you sweat and tv gets about 8 channels old shows like Perry mason and my 3 sons. Owner claimed hes new and didn’t know how to work the tv so we couldn’t relax and watch anything at end of the day. Also no Do not disturb placard for the door. When we got back from Bryce the first day someone had gone into our room and put all new towels out. We would prefer to NOT have anyone in our room when we aren’t there. There was a sign that said if you want clean towels put the placard out and they will replace them couldn’t find that placard either but didn’t need towels anyways. Bryce was a half hour away which was perfect. We were away from the hustle and bustle of Bryce so could relax at the end of the day. We were there a week. It was good for the price. Yes I’d probably stay again. Bbq place is good and Freddie’s frozen custard and burgers was good. Also had pizza it was expensive but good. Grocery store just down the street. No breakfast served

Do not stay here. Dirty and rundown with manager who has a “do as I say not as I do” attitude. Its also in a dumpy part of town with nothing scenic or walkable within sight.

Weeds everywhere outside. We were assigned Room #1 which is completely hidden and not logical. On check-in, you’ll see management has multiple signs warning you of all of the exorbitant fees I’ll charge you. The funniest one is they’ll charge you $250. If you leave the room stained, but the reception area rug is so badly stained It’s really disgusting. The entrance to the room is unkempt and disappointing. The room itself is dark. Even though we had a nonrefundable reservation, we left as fast as we could as this dump wasn’t worth spending a minute more.

The lodge was at a great location to visit Bryce Canyon National Park. The hotel manager Kashyup was very good and took care of us well. The room was spacious, neat and clean. Overall it was a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone who would want to visit the Bryce Canyon National park.

About Panguitch;
The city, Panguitch, was very small with limited options for food. It was clean, green and people/traffic friendly.

Pretty Good dining options.

Limelighter Lodge is a well restored retro 1950's motel where you park in front of your room. All on one level. Satellite TV has TCM which we love! Very clean and well maintained. No breakfast and 10 am checkout, but fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Very reasonable rates.

The owner was very nice. He walked me to the room and showed me about the heater and air. They were separate. We had our own little area outside our room. They had a separate area for dogs. The room was very clean. The beds were great! We slept very well. The shower was nice and hot! We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area again!

Run down like most of the town. Owner tries hard to communicate in English, not always succeeding. Sign permanently posted on office window saying they are out for 30 minutes and to call if you need assistance. Bed, shower and toilet were clean. Floors were not. Heavy dirt and dust caked in corners. From the outside it didn’t look as if any motel in town would be much better.

This motel should be removed from Hotels.com listing. The manager tried to charge me for the discount I received on Hotels.com! I arrived with a reservation not only paid in full but deducted from my account. They were paid and if they do not like the discounts Hotels.com offers its valued customers, they should withdraw their facility. I made my reservation, morning of due to the weather change at Bryce Canyon (I was camping.) and wanted to pay for an additional night, at the same rate and pay for it. I couldn't get a word in edgewise and was interrupted with \"no problem, that's fine, no worries. . .\" instead of a direct answer to my questions. I made a decision to not add another night and the clerk would not stop arguing with me over it. I got a bill with a due balance (the discounted amount)! The guests before me were having another issue with how the bill was being divided, one person paying five days/the other two. The following week, reverse. The clerk refused to bill 50/50! The person who checked me in is shrewd and doesn't listen to the point of after losing my temper, called the sheriff to intervene. One of the deputies stated, as professionally as possible, they get calls from the establishments, regularly and felt they'd been here before. The deputies of Panguitch are fabulous! With law presence the clerk was calm and sweet smiling. Whatever. I was given the deputy card in the event I was billed. My room was decent and it was relatively quiet.

Very small room, with no heat initially, but clean. Manager was a bit abrupt. He brought us a portable heater which short-circuited the TV and lights. He then fixed the heating control and it was OK for the rest of the night, but why couldn't that have been in place before we got there? We won't be back.

Probanly 60 years old. Crushed ice in a 30 gallon metal container with a side door we lift up to open... and a metal hand scoop, that everyone handles or coughs on with the ice exposed. No A/C, old fashion thermostat, small wall heater, dirty dusty pet area, no full time office staff, and 12 rooms total. Sorry, not for me, but ok and reasonably priced for out of town construction type workers.

This is an older inn, the bathroom is a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable, I had a queen bed room and the bed was wonderfully soft. If you’re visiting Bryce Canyon this is a great place to spend the night.
The man running it was very kind and understanding when I had trouble with my room keys which made me feel much better. The rooms are dog friendly with an area in the back for your dog to stretch their legs and do their business (supervised, of course) there was also a grill and picnic tables which I didn’t use, but I assume they are meant for guests.

My only complaint was the light, the walkway is very well lit but it made it a bit difficult for me to sleep even with the blinds closed.
