This hotel is beautiful. I hope to return for a longer stay. It’s a beautiful old piazza, fully renovated with modern accessories in a very elegant way. Breakfast was great, pool beautiful, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and free. Sadly, I didn’t get to visit the spa but nearby Ragusa Ibla was fantastic. This hotel is 10/10.

This is a very unique property with beautiful rooms and common areas. The staff are outstanding.
There are 2 slight downsides, the location, you are a 30 minute walk from the older areas of Ragusa. The bed was very firm.

Staff were exceptionally helpful with in resolving some travel issues we had.
Room was very clean. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens behind the property. Breakfast was very good buffet with many choices. Parking was easy in front of the villa.

Staff was so kind and helpful. Super modern rooms. The shower was large. The grounds are very impressive! Don’t judge it by the outside front only. The pool was delightful. It’s a 4 star hotel! They helped us booking a restaurant for dinner with stunning views!!!! They helped us with maps and directions. Parking was free. Their English was excellent. I wish I could see the breakfast but we had an early flight. I loved this place!

A beautiful property to enjoy

This hotel is a hidden gem. When we first arrived, I was a little disappointed that the hotel is not right in the downtown area, within walking distance of the old town. But getting around in our car was easy and the people at the hotel couldn’t have been nicer. At least we didn’t have to worry about parking! The property is beautiful, loaded with history. We had a private balcony. The owner and workers obviously have pride in their work. Aldo made excellent recommendations for parking and restaurants. He also took his time to give us ideas of what to see in the area. Breakfast was simple but certainly adequate. Our room was amazing, with a wonderful view of the city. I highly recommend considering this hotel.

Delightful Stay

We had a delightful one-night stay at Villa Boscarino. The hotel is created within a classic old villa with lovely modern features. Gardens and pool tranquil. It's atop a hill in the modern area of Ragusa, but a short cab ride over to the historical Ragusa area for dinner. Parking was available for our rental car. Staff was so helpful, caring and genuinely kind. Loved Stephanie at the poolside.

The room smelled like mold. We were told that the smell is from cleaning. We left without staying there obviously with no refund. Found a much better hotel in the very nice area less expensive.
Also he hotel is in the middle of nowhere.

This is the most beautiful hotel we stayed in Sicily. The staff was friendly, attentive and super professional. Our room was beautiful with a nice terrace. The architects/designers did a wonderful job renovating this villa.

Beautiful accommodation, excellent staff. Our upstairs room with window only was a bit small for us; next time we would choose a room with a patio and easy access to the lovely gardens. A long way to Ragusa Ibla: a very tiring walk, not for the faint hearted. But being able to park the car and not drive the narrow city streets was worth its weight in gold.

Villa Boscarino is beautifully renovated and decorated to a high standard. Staff very friendly and helpful. It’s in a very built up area out of town, not much going on around it. The walk to the centre is extremely hilly a good 20 minutes to the new town and 40 to the old town.

Interesting hotel in old Villa

We stayed one night for our Ragusa trip and we had a junior suite. Excellent, but not for people who don’t like spiral staircases as we had a spiral staircase up to the bedroom area. The suite was very comfortable and the hotel is really special in an old villa. Service was excellent. Everything is new and in excellent condition.

A Little Disappointing

The photos are a little deceiving. This looks like it's in a beautiful remote area of Ragusa but in fact, it's in a residential area surrounded by ordinary homes and apartments. The grounds are small and there is no pool (they have a hot tub, but it was not clean looking). The building itself is pretty, but small, the staff is lovely and accommodating. I was disappointed because I thought it would be more grand.

photo misleading

Hotel is very nicely done however the photos are very misleading about the location.
It is in the middle of the residential area surrounded by highrise ugly buildings . So there is no benefit from being away from historical centre. Therefore I would not recommend the place to anyone.

Nice place. Bad location. Very far from anything charming or interesting. Pay a little more for a convenient location. You'll end up paying more for cabs getting back and forth to Ibla.

Unique hotel, easy to park

Very unique place. Basic a landmark and now coverted into a hotel. All rooms are smaller than the picture looks like. Breakfast is tasty but no hot items besides coffee. The hotel is in new part of the city, not far from the old Ragusa. I prefer it this way as it gives me more flexibility to park and visit other towns like Noto or Modica.

Quiet hotel with excellent staff

We were looking for a base from which to take day trips to the various attractions around the Ragusa area, as far north as Enna, east to Syracuse and west towards Gela. Villa Boscarino fitted the bill perfectly.
The hotel is small but well run with the best hotel staff you could wish for. Our every request was met and more. There was a willingness to make sure our stay was as good as possible - and all with smiles!
The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, although shops and restaurants are a short walk away. The walk to Ragusa lower is a lengthy one and the steepness of the streets is tiring but there are plenty of things to see in Ragusa upper.
Our room had a patio which was useful as the rooms are quite small (although very well equipped with everything including a very comfortable king size bed). There are no public rooms in the hotel, other than the breakfast area. We had a breakfast rate and were glad we did as it suited us very well and as normal in Italy nothing hot, except coffee!
This is not a family hotel but for couples seeking a comfortable and friendly base to explore Ragusa and surrounds this is a perfect place to stay.

Stunning hotel with great staff!

The hotel was stunning, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The boutique nature of the hotel made it feel like we were the only people staying there. As advertised, the hotel was slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Ragusa Ibla, however we were able to walk the city and into Ragusa Ibla easily enough (although not for the fainthearted)!

Lovely Lovely Lovely

We had a superb 10 day stay ...the villa has been renovated beautifully and makes a wonderful boutique hotel...it's great to walk two blocks onto corsa Italia and down into Ibla....which is a fantastic experience ( Ibla is the touristy bit) about 15 mins walk down and 10 euro taxi back up but there's some quirky shops in this area too and we ate in a couple of places 10 minutes away that were so good and reasonable ....crescente and p-plus....very enjoyable local places.

The hotel is situated in a part of town where locals live but it is very quiet and safe to walk at night....and everyone is so helpful ....there's a great stone oven pizza takeaway at the end of the street by the hotel...had a giggle in there while ordering and sat in the wonderful gardens at the back of the hotel with a giant pizza for 5 euros

We had a hire car and it was easy to park at the hotel and use as a centre to explore all the major baroque towns in the south east...we used the bus station a few times too...about a 10 minute stroll and easy to catch a bus to Modica so we could have wine with our meal.

The hotel staff are the best though....the fantastic five....they were all so attentive,charming,knowledgable and engaging.....good at their jobs.

Can't recommend this hotel enough and will definitely use again to see more of wonderful south east Sicily with its gorgeous food,architecture and people

Excellent boutique hotel in a residential location

Excellent hotel, beautifully renovated. Alex and the team are extremely friendly, professional and helpful.

Rooms are of a good size, nice décor and spotlessly clean. Ground floor rooms have outdoor terraces with table and chairs but there are no sun loungers.

Good selection of cold dishes for buffet breakfast served in the lovely but very small chapel. Coffee made to order. All food items are of a good quality.

During our stay it was our wedding anniversary and we were served breakfast that day and made to feel very special and then later received a bottle of wine with a lovely note from the staff.

There is off road parking to the front of the hotel.

It is about a 20 minute walk into Ragusa Superiore - all downhill going but uphill coming back was challenging - the hills are very steep! Really too far to walk to the centre of Ragusa Ibla but the local bus service is good and inexpensive or the hotel can order taxis for you.

The hotel is still undergoing renovation but as guests there is no evidence of this - no workman nor any noise. The plan is for more rooms, including two suites and possibly a small swimming pool which would be a real bonus.

I highly recommend the hotel and would not hesitate to stay again and indeed would like to return to sample the property when the renovations are complete.

Nice hotel, awkward location

Very modern hotel in a classical old Italian building. Some issues with maintenance - air conditioning not effective, slow water drainage from the shower. Location not the best - see above. the staff, however, were all great - attentive and friendly. Breakfast was also good. generally good value for money.

Great hotel, in the wrong location

Fantastic place to stay. Just be aware of the location relative to the main and old town. Otherwise, couldn't fault the place. As a result of its location, its much cheaper than the alternatives.
