We stayed here for 1 night and i wish we had longer here.
All the members of staff we dealt with were fantastic and a credit to the hotel.
Our room had a small balcony that overlooked the carpark but there was lots of greenery around to make it feel more secluded.
The bathroom had a bathtub which was lovely to relax in with the welcome drinks brought to our room on arrival.
The attention to detail was superb and i loved the boutique feel of the room and all the little personal touches.
The main town was a short walk away with plenty to see and do.

Overall the hotel and location was good. I was disappointed to find out at the end I was charged over $25 for a very subpar breakfast. It was presented in the check in as it was included so I was very surprised to have to pay, typically you are always told the cost if not in the booking. It felt very sneaky and effected my overall experience and feeling on the hotel

Very disappointing. Awful room decor. Looks better on pictures.Flimys furniture, dirty and stained lamp shades. Very uncomfortable bed with mattress's springs poking when sleeping. Service was good thought.Breakfast was average but if you attend breakfast one hours before end of service you might have reduced options.Considare yourself unlucky. 4 stars for locations but this not a four star experience. It is a quirky boutique hotel some of the rooms might be fabulous but the one l got was far from that.

A Gem!

This hotel is probably the best I have been in a long time! The service and the attention to details is amazing. The little messages in the morning with the weather forecast and what’s on in the city, the handwritten check in note, the little snacks and fruit in the lobby and so much more!
We checked in late at night and the following morning one of the receptionist recognised us in the street and greater us with a warm smile. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Poznan. Thank you!

Excellent Service and an Excellent Stay!

This hotel was an exceptional value. I would recommend it for couples and business travelers, although in watching two young families at breakfast, the hotel provided exceptional service for them as well. We had an issue with the heat in our room, but the hotel staff was promptly responsive and provided excellent service. All of the rooms are \"themed\" (we were in Kyoto) which provides an interesting twist. The personal touches are what made the stay especially nice, including the welcome card and the books and maps in the room on what to do in Poznan.
I must note that if you stay, absolutely make sure to have breakfast at the hotel-- it delivers its value ten times over. It was likely the best breakfast arrangement we had in Poland and we had many of them.
Although the location is a bit off the main square, the extra few blocks walk is well worthwhile if you are touristing the area-- you are still within very short walking distance of all the main sights and the Cathedral is a very short distance away. Uber is an option from the train station. The neighborhood is excellent and there is a market right around the corner.

We have spent 2 nights in the Solei Boutique Hotel, at the Norway room.
The hotel looks fine, have a great location and nearby parking. The check-in and check-out was super fast!
The main problem was that every morning we were woken up at 8 am, because the isolation of the room is poor and we could hear every move and every word of cleaning ladies.

What a gem of a place!

The property is brilliant, great amenities, clean and very comfortable with close proximity to everything Poznan has to offer. The stay was however made for me by the staff. Excellent location, close to the Old Town. Staff very helpful and provided a good breakfast. Not sure they have the colour sceme right yet - very dark blue corridors and a dark carpet.
After returning home I find the room payment taken electronically from my bank account to be more than twice the agreed price as stated on e-mail. I am in the process of looking into this and hoipe to be able to say there has been a genuine mistakke somewhere. I will have no reservation about publicising any sharp practice that may have occurred but I am allowing a short time tfor thius to be resolved satisfactorily.

An excellent night's stay. The Havana room was light and airy, warm and well provided with comfortable furniture. It's nice to stay somewhere with an original and individual theme - not just a generic box. The beds were comfortable and we slept like logs. Also, the staff were universally polite, engaging and helpful. I'd encourage anyone to stay here.

Nice little hotel, run by people who are clearly passionate about design. Staff were all very polite and friendly, food was excellent, but the rooms are a little too minimalist for me! Comfortable, very clean but hardly any storage space for clothes. There are no wardrobes, just open hanging rails with a couple of hangers, and shelving that reminded me of student digs.

The zloty has taken a real hit against the dollar recently and my two stay at the Solei Boutique Hotel was more than reasonably priced. The location of the hotel is also ideal, as it is adjacent to the city square.

Very good location which was the reason for our choice. Rooms were a little tired (our daughter and son in law had the Norway room with 'battered' moose head!), our room had no tea or coffee facilities and we had to pay for drinks at reception yet daughters room had a kettle??!! We booked and paid for 2 queen rooms so expected them to be the same! Receptionist was blasé about this and although coffees were offered, we were charged!!!!!
Not quite the boutique experience we'd hoped for but still a nice hotel.

Hotel facility is new so equipment, accessories are pretty updated.
Room was spacious and equipped with all necessities.
What I liked was the little thoughtful gestures such as appetizers and beverage delivered to room after checking in. There were cookies and water in the lobby waiting area.

If I really have to pick on something, the room is a bit too dark, dark cabinet, and dim lighting, which gives it a contemporary feel, is easy to have dropped something and not notice it. Black phone chargers, plugs are easily \"lost\".

This hotel has Nice helpful staff, funny rooms and is located very Close to old square.
We had the Havana room and could not believe how close this hotel is to main square. There is a taxi stand outside that have taxis waiting everyday except sundays. The staff gave us a warm welcome and we got the room with a 9 am checkin. At depature we got a little eatable gift.
The only downside of this hotel is that the rooms does not looks like it has been maintained since they renovated the rooms. Our room had a broken window, several decorative was in disrepair and couch had spots.

A lovely welcoming hotel a short walk from oldtown

City Solei Boutique Hotel had construction nearby and at times we were disturbed, but this looked temporary. There was convenient parking next door. So many details were attended to. We were served sparkling wine in our room upon checking in. The toiletries were high end and little things like ear plugs, a water kettle, and cookies were provided. The chairs were cute but uncomfortable. We thought that the staff really tried to go out of their way to make us welcome and familiar. We enjoyed an overpriced pretentious meal in the restaurant that included gummy pasta that seemed old. The waitress was one of the friendliest that we had during our long trip . I actually loved the City Solei Hotel in spite of the shortcomings and would stay there again.

The hotel was really pretty and super clean and the little bakery beside it was great and very cheap. It's right beside a little market of sorts where we got delicious fresh strawberries!

Comfy Beds! Great Staff!

This was my second stay at this hotel and after 10 years travelling to Poznan it is now my firm favourite. Staff are so friendly and ensure a swift and hassle free check in. As before within 5 mins of arriving my complimentary drink was brought to the door. This time some hot mulled wine to help with my cold. I had room service which arrived within 15 mins and was of a very high standard. They pre-ordered my taxi for 5am which was there bang on time. The main square is a 5 min walk from the hotel.

The Campest Place to Stay in Poznań with your Dog.

I travel with a large dog between a small island and a village in Poland, and am always delighted to find a lovely new pet-friendly hotel with secure parking. This hotel's staff truly excelled at making me and my Borzoi feel welcome and looked after: there was a glass of delicious bubbly for me and two elegant bowls for my companion. I was at once encouraged to consider a larger room downstairs instead of the originally prepared one, easier for dog-walking. As if nothing was too much effort, the better room was immediately available with no fuss. The Beijing Room was perfectly styled to take one's mind off driving; not too much of a theme park, just enough to amuse and relax. The building is beautifully decorated, but not predictably so: the iron railing outside is candy pink, there are plastic flamingos in the garden and novelty place mats in the comfortable dining room. There are whimsical coffee table books in the lobby and flamboyant key rings. I think one door stop was a silver bulldog and another a pink piglet. The roast beef was delicious, as was breakfast. Even the newest staff member coped impressively well with over-friendly guests, in reasonable English. He was able to wholeheartedly recommend pancakes, because he'd just had some, and he did so in his native Polish very politely. It felt like staying at an amusing and bright young friend of a friend's place - it was camp and cool but also restful and refreshing. The builders' noise - it will pass.

Stunning hotel, friendly helpful staff

The staff at this hotel offered the friendliest service. They arranged a hairdressing appointment for me, a restaurant booking and the food and service there was first class, They organised taxis as well as the best of advice on places to visit.
The cleanliness and facilities were 5 star. We were sorry we only had 2 days to spend there but plan to go back and recommend this lovely hotel to friends and family.

The location is on the edge of the old town square which was quiet and only a few minutes walk to the vibrant square which was a lovely time to spend an evening eating drinking or just wandering around.

Le personnel est plein de petites attentions, votre séjour est personnalisé, on se sent vraiment comme à la maison ! Cet hôtel est situé à 5 minutes à pied de la vieille ville et à proximité immédiate des restaurants et transports en commun. Chaque chambre a sa propre décoration ça change des grandes chaînes hôtelières comme Accor. Dans cet hôtel les petits détails sont partout et la décoration est faite avec goût !

Klimat hotelu jest oryginalny, ale niestety hotel nie posiada strefy spa jak jest to wymienione w opisie obiektu. Parking jest miejski, płatny tuż obok, jednak nie ma możliwości uzyskania faktury.
Śniadania wypadły najsłabiej, jedzenie nie jest dokładane więc można przyjść na praktycznie puste talerze. Restauracja jest bardzo malutka i na śniadaniach przy dużej ilości gości jest ciasno.
Plusem są kosmetyki dla gości oraz powitalny drink.

Second stay at City Solei Boutique Hotel for us - last time was 3 years ago. We just love this hotel.

Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber ;klein aber mit allem ausgestattet,was gebraucht wird
Service war teilweise etwas chaotisch gerade beim Frühstück
Parkplatz neben dem Hotel -nicht weit aber unbefestigt und gebührenpflichtig -die großen Koffer mussten durch den Dreck geschleppt werden -ich würde das Hotel nur Geschäftsreisenden mit kleinem Gepäckbund kurzem Aufenthalt empfehlen

Hyggeligt hotel og kommer helt sikkert tilbage

Hyggeligt hotel, venligt og imødekommen personale. Fine værelser, med hver deres indretning. Køleskab og aircondition på værelserne er virkelig godt. God beliggenhed tæt på torvet. Parkering på delt betalings parkering, men lige ved siden af hotellet. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage til hotellet.
