Really warm all round the hotel. Very clean. Excellent and extremely helpful front desk staff. Brilliant location for Old town and lots of restaurants and bars close by… Would stay here again in a heartbeat..

Overall a mixed experience 50/50

Overall service and experience in line with other IBIS hotels as I have always enjoyed staying in those, first time stayed in 2* which explains why there is no kettle or tea/coffee in the room. Excellent for 2* family stay for overall cleanliness and service. Rooms very clean and fresh, and impressive outside and the communal area, nice to relax with a fireplace and a good restaurant, professional and helpful reception. There was an issue with the shower and got asked to move the rooms which was an inconvenience quickly reconciled with a voucher for free drinks which was a positive outcome. We did not buy the breakfast and came to relax on a family holiday to allow my family to get plenty of rest and sleep. Unfortunately, some of the cleaning staff would bang on the door so loud in a rude manner and were very unpleasant when door was opened, knowing the room is occupied so the privacy of us as guests was interrupted with an arrest-warrant style bang every morning which was both stressful and inconvenient. For both rooms we were placed in, the first door on the corridor where cleaning trolley was left constantly outside my door, with multiple cleaners blocking the way and being very noisy and impolite. Most staff were incredible, however did not feel safe to leave my belongings in room while going to explore, some were moved and sunglasses went missing, cleaning staff always coming in and out of rooms mine included, even though I did not request them to change towels/bedding.

I stay in alot of ibis hotels as i travel alot and this room 329 was the worst room,it must have been the last room in the hotel to be renovated! I paid extra for early checkin and i got some 1970s decor with alpine decal covering half the window so it didnt let light in or see out of and bed headboard that was like a shower rail with pillows tied to it,a small wooden garden fence around the wall, REALLY!! I didnt complain directly as it was only a 3 night stay and i dont spend much time in the room but any longer and i would of asked to be moved! I stayed in an ibis in Szczecin 3 days prior to arriving here at the same level and that room was great,modern and clean! Why the difference!

Stayed four nights. I thought it was in old town but it is not. A large portion of municipal Poznan is called stare miasto. So it took a bolt anytime I wanted to go anywhere which was fine. It was nice having a restaurant on site. Open all day. Had dinner several times.

Hotel in perfect location, right at the river Warta banks! Within walking distance to Old Marquet Square and Lake Malta as well as 3 big shopping malls. Great selection of food for breakfast too. Highly recommended. Onsite carpark, bit on the expensive side, but you can't have everything!

This place is not designed for comfort my bed was like sleeping on concrete to start with. The hotel looks nice and it is clean and tidy and there is hand gel everywhere to use.

The staff are friendly apart from one person who is your typical frosty faced abrupt polish person who needs to learn customer service skills.

The food in the restaurant is horrible.

Only recommend for short stay.

The Ibis is a nice, comfortable hotel. We were greeted with a smile and checked in quickly. The room was nice. We had drinks in the lobby. In the morning, we had the breakfast at the hotel. We opted to eat breakfast out the other days as Poland is full of fantastic food. I would definitely stay here again.

Ibis are consistent in blending quality with value for money. This hotel continues to cement my opinion that they are a regular go to option. This hotel provides a wonderful breakfast which was a plus. It also has a modern and comfortable social area/bar; friendly English speaking service and a quiet location close to the centre and shopping mall (Posnania). Those who wish to exercise whilst away can take advantage of the fact that it is close to the river which has a running lane beside it

Booed two rooms with a double and single bed. Upon arrival the second bed was not made up, spoke to reception who advised me they don't have any rooms with two beds (they do on hotels.com) it's only after I dug out my confirmation they sent someone to make a second bed. Didn't really need the hassle at 3am.

Although the info from Hotels.com told us there would be tea & coffee making in the room there wasn't. Hotel said they didn't provide it. Otherwise the hotel was as expected from Ibis - staff very helpful, rooms could be anywhere in Europe and the hotel was only 75m from a tram stop. What we needed.

We spent two nights at the IBIS on our recent trip through Poland. The first thing to say is that during our stay the front desk was always busy this would have not been a problem other than the door card failed to work on a number of occasions which entailed standing in line for assistance.
The room was small and had a noisy aircon in addition the shower was very low on pressure.
The positives were that the breakfast was good value around £7 per head, also a good location for the old town and other parts of the city, a tram stop is located just outside the hotel.
Because the hotel was full with business people in Poznan for a trade fair it's possible we drew a short straw on room allocation however We would be reluctant to recommend to anyone else. Dave & Sal Yorks

Overall it was good experience and nice location. However the heating in our room took forever to work and is seemed to only work up to around 21oC. Also the bathroom had no toilet brush. The shower bath could have been washed to a better standard as when took the plug out it was all covered in dirt and it wasn't draining properly to start with. Other then that it was good. Restaurant downstairs a little bit pricy but ok.

Other than that, everything was average. Couple of hairs on the bed and tower.
Not too close to anything but not too far.
I wouldn't come back but it won't be too disappointing.

Excellent hotel. Not a single complaint from anyone in our group of friends. Free wifi, comfy clean rooms, great breakfast, waiter service at the bar. And reception even acted as a good concierge! We will definitely use Ibis again after this experience. The price when booking through Hotels.com was also very good! Poznan itself is an amazing place. The hotel is only a few mins from the old square where you can find some decent bars and restaurants nearby.

Poznan Hotel, cheap, clean well located

Just back from Poznan from a short break, Sunday to Wednesday. I had got the train from Berlin. Poznan train station was only a £2 taxi ride away. I flew from Poznan airport back home to Dublin. I got a taxi from the hotel and it was 49plz about £11 or 14euro and took 20min.
It is a 10 min walk into the main square or a taxi is 17plz about 4euro, its safe and had no hassles.
Hotel basic but clean and well located. I paid £81 sterling from Sun to wed without breakfast option. its so cheap in town for food felt i would rather just eat out each day. I could not fault the reception staff or bar staff, very friendly and approachable. I read other reviews about the wifi not being great in the room. Mine was perfect strength and I was given the access codes on arrival- it is free.
Definelty would stay again.

I stayed one night in the Ibis, at the end of my trip. I found the hotel clean and well-maintained, and my room spacious and comfortable.

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful (for example, they arranged a taxi to the airport, which charged a very reasonable fare).

The hotel itself has a fairly neutral atmosphere, rather than any particular local character, but the location is very handy for central Poznan, including the beautiful and lively Old Town. For the price, I found it to be very good value.

Schönes Hotel sehr nah zur Altstadt, fussläufig erreichbar, Zimmer groß genug, aber wie in vielen Hotels kein Schrank-nur Regal offen, Bad gut, Zimmer zur Hofseite, dadurch sehr ruhig, Frühstück sehr gut, für jeden etwas dabei, wurde ständig aufgefüllt, Personal sehr nett und freundlich, Tiefgarage in Haus-super

Alles hat gepasst bei meinem Aufenthalt vom 10.-13.04.2025 im IBIS Hotel Stare Miasto in Poznań. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, leckeres Frühstück (gerne ein wenig Frisch-oder Trockenobst zu den Haferflocken), die überaus freundliche Unterstützung an der Rezeption, als bei der Abreise die Taxi-Fahrt zum Bahnhof ein Problem wurde (Halb-Marathon). – Und der kurze Weg zum Fluss, an der Warta war es sehr schön, bevor es in die sehenswerte Altstadt ging bzw. bei Rückkehr von dort.

Posizione a circa 10 minuti dal centro storico, nei dintorni della struttura non ci sono negozi, c’è una fermata del tram e dell’autobus.
Avevamo prenotato una camera tripla ma al nostro arrivo per errore c’è stata data una camera doppia, fatto notare l’errore alla reception ci cambiano la stanza con una tripla ma nel bagno erano presenti soltanto due asciugamani anziché tre, fatto presente alla reception, il giorno successivo dopo la pulizia hanno nuovamente messo due asciugamani e siamo dovuti andare nuovamente a chiedere un terzo asciugamano alla reception. Camere piuttosto piccole, specialmente le triple che sarebbero le doppie con un letto in più, struttura ok.

Although the hotel is not in old town, it is not far by taking the tram. The hotel is safe and staff are friendly English speaking. The breakfast is good but not super. Room service is good. My room is facing back of hotel which is garden like area. No complaints.

By walking across the river for 15-20 minutes, there is a very nice shopping mall where there is large food court. It is not far from lake Malta.

Prima lokatie op loopafstand van het centrum en Posnania. Tramhalte zelfs op 30 meter afstand.
Alles was heel schoon en bleef de gehele tijd schoon.

Hotellet ligger sentralt til nær \"Altstadt\" Poznan. En rolig 10 minutters spasertur til de kjente områden i gamlebyen.
Hotellet er et standard Ibis hotell, ikke noe \"Aha-opplevelse\", men rent. Vi var der i 3 netter, ikke vask eller stell av rommet på den tiden, håndklær kunne vi få rene ved å henvende oss i resepsjonen!! Frokosten var bra, selv savnet jeg egg, men det var noe som lignet på \"scrambled egg\" I en beholder, - jeg smakte ikke på denne. Det var mye frukt og grønt til frokost, - et bra tilbud. Rommet var enkelt, kun to senger, men uten bord eller stol til å legge fra seg på. Behagelig temperatur i rommet både dag og natt. Poznan er en interessant by, under stadig utbedring.

Dersom det var koronatid det var en veldig bra opphold. Alle korona regler var følget med. Følte meg trygt og hotellservitørene gjorde alt de kunne for å gi meg and bra opplevelse.

Personale gentile e servizio impeccabile. Ho gradito molto la possibilità di cenare in hotel con un menù praticamente completo nonostante le restrizioni dovute al Covid19. In altri hotel anche di livello più alto il servizio ristorazione è limitato o addirittura assente. Ottima anche la colazione. La stanza presentava dei problemi nel bagno: lo scarico del lavandino non funzionava bene e sull'erogatore del rubinetto è stata installata una doccetta che limita molto il getto, probabilmente per risparmiare acqua. Non è il massimo lavarsi con un filo d'acqua. Comodo i letto, aria condizionata silenziosa. Consigliabile in generale un rinnovo della camera,in particolare del bagno
