This is a quaint 9 room (6 on one/main side and 3 across the alley) boutique hotel in the heart of Dubrovnik’s old walled city. To get to it you’re dropped off outside one of the gates to the city and one of the staff will meet you and help you get to the hotel with your bags. They were really great about doing this both coming and going.
Our room was on the second floor across the alley in the 3 room building. It was kinda on the small side but laid out very well to easily accommodate we two adults and our large suitcases. The bathroom was modern and well stocked. The TV has all modern apps (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon) so that was a big plus at night when winding down. There’s a kitchen on the main floor of our building where on the morning we left a staff member cooked a great private custom breakfast for us (eggs to order, bacon, bread, fruit, cakes, tea, coffee, etc). On the day we took a trip to Mostar they packed a nice to go breakfast bag for us. We didn’t go to the main building across the alley so don’t know what’s over there as far as dining or other facilities. The rooms are bigger there I’m told.
The hotel is situated in a small quiet alley bracketed by main walkways that have about a million shops, restaurants, cafes, sites, tourists, etc. The thing is we never really heard anything as far as annoying street noise which was very nice. Can’t say enough about the staff. They couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Anyhow, highly recommend!

Staff members are incredibly attentive. Breakfast on time everyday and delicious! Not to mention beautiful. Made us feel special. Two things they could improve:
1. Toilet paper holder fixed. Right now it sits on the counter and gets wet. Not sanitary either.
2. Better lighting in the bathroom such as a make up mirror. It was difficult to put makeup on with low light.

Our stay was beyond our expectations. The St. Joseph's Hotel is conveniently located in Old Town. The staff catered to our every need! We enjoyed the breakfast delivered to our room everyday with amazing home baked goods. If it is available you should have dinner at the St. Joseph's Hotel cooked by their Chef. I highly recommend this hotel and we can't wait to return!

More of a ABB we were in the annex we were in two of the 3 rooms. You enter from a door in the street to the kitchen where you have breakfast. You must tell them when u want breakfast and someone will come and prepare it.

I loved everything about this property!! It is a gorgeous, small hotel in Old Town, Dubrovnik. I would give the staff more than a 5-star review if possible. They were attentive to every detail of my stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was included and served in each guest room every morning. It was delicious. Just minutes from everything you would want to see and do in Dubrovnik. As a regular traveler, I rank my stay at St.Joseph as one of my all-time favorites.

Luggage was lost by the airline and they tracked it down and had it delivered to the hotel...they even let us use the hotels washing machine to wash and dry clithes before we left. High-end service and accommodations in Old Town
One of the best hotel experiences I've had in over two decades of travel. While everything was excellent, I would specifically call out the service from the hotel staff (George, Lotta, others) on multiple fronts - from tracking down my lost luggage from the airline, to coordinating a tour to Montenegro, to the included made-to-order breakfast everyday, and the luggage service to and from the hotel and outside of Old Town. It was truly a wonderful stay that I can't recommend enough.

Situated in the center of the Dubrovnik old city, the location can't be beat. Beautifully appointed rooms in a building hundreds of years old on a quaint alley and service that goes above and beyond. George carried our luggage and escorted us from the city gate to the hotel within the walls of old town. But that wasn't all, he made restaurant reservations for us and then walked us to the restaurant!

I can’t say enough good things about our family’s stay at St. Joseph’s. The location was perfect, inside the Old Town where one can walk to restaurants, bars and all the sights. The staff was incredible…from meeting us at the gate upon arrival to help us with our luggage (no cars are allowed in the old town walls), to making recommendations for tours and restaurants, to happily answering any of the many questions we had. The breakfast was delicious and was delivered and set up in your room at whatever time you requested. Our time at St. Joseph’s contributed to the magical stay we had in Croatia.

If you want to experience thd Old City you can't do any better than this. This is a beautiful boutique hotel nestled on a small street just steps from all the \"action\". The room was modern, well furnished and exceptionally clean with a cute kitchenette and a nice dining table. The table was necessary because each morning we were served a beautiful breakfast in our room. With fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, cakes, meat, cheese and even a hot platter of eggs everyone was more than satisified. Try the green smoothie! The staff was excellent and helpful in every way possible. They escorted us in and out of the Old City to our taxi as well as helping with ferry information and, of course, city recommendations. My family and I could not have asked for a better experience! Absolutely top notch!

I booked our stay at St.Joesph's in Dubrovnik based on all the positive reviews of the hotel staff and service. Our stay there confirmed what a great property this is. The staff couldn't have been sweeter and accommodating. They really helped in so many ways, including recommendations, setting up transfers and little things like assistance in making change from large bills. A great group of people. Additionally the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Good bedding, plenty of room, great shower and lovely design. Five star ratting across the board.

Superb Property in Old City with Fabulous People
Not sure where to begin. The property itself is a 500 yr old building with incredible rustic, yet sophisticated charm. Small kitchen in the room with crystal and quality flatware. Full bath and king bed too..which is rare for anywhere in Europe. Linens were quality over down comforter....down couch too. Breakfast every morning delivered on the minute by two lovely ladies ....again quality and lovely presentations at the table in front of one of the two large windows overlooking the narrow streets..

Stayed two nights at St Joseph’s in Dubrovnik. What a terrific experience living inside the old town in a converted house type of hotel. It’s more like an apartment with terrific staff. I can't say enough great things about our stay at St. Joseph's. It's truly a charming hotel in the heart of old town. Zach welcomed us from the moment we arrived, helping us with luggage and recommending restaurants and tours for us. He even offered to walk us to one of his favorite restaurants. They are really full service! On another occasion, they went to the bank for me to deal with a matter, so I could enjoy my day. Breakfast is delicious and brought to you each morning on silver trays. The room is lovely with all the amenities including an amazing shower and powerful shower head. You will not be disappointed!

Thiamin is one of the most beautiful small hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and the staff is the best overall I have ever encountered. One man came to the pillar gate to meet us and carry our heavy bags through the crowds of tourists all the way to our room. He then went over a number of sites with us and marked them clearly on a map. The maids were charming, the breakfast was top-drawer, and the manager on duty enormously helpful. He carried our bags out to the gate to meet our taxi and gave us a little tour along the way. We were also upgraded upon arrival to a majestic room whose beauty uplifted our tired tourist souls! We highly recommend this hotel on every level.

Very nice hotel right in the centre of old town, but it is in a small street therefore very quiet at night. Room is nice and rain shower is fantastic. People there are amazing too. If i just had to pick on small things, then it would be that there is no full length mirror in the room and no facial tissue.

There are only a handful of rooms at this little hotel, but it's a wonderful spot. The staff were great, including the house keepers. Everyone was helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed.
