Nice stay at a very conveniently placed and extremely good value for money property.
Bed and shower were both very good. The 10 am checkout was slightly earlier than we were used to as prefer 11 am but we were able to leave our bags so not a major issue.

These apartments are an amazing oasis in the hustle & bustle of Pile Gate & Old Town Dubrovnik. The units are immaculate & appear recently renovated & modern, yet are decorated with Croatian charm. The owners are exceptional & made our stay so convenient & comfortable.

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Being in a small side street meant that it was quiet at night. Our room was a comfortable size for the two of us. A clever use of space. The air con was appreciated. There are a number of steps up to the property, so beware of this when carrying a case. But it should be noted there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik. You cannot avoid them. It is a small price to pay to be able to stay in the heart of the city.

Loved this place! Everything was wonderful. Great communication & they even coordinated transportation from the airport to the room. They had someone meet us at the Ploce gate to walk us to the room. It was tucked away and very quiet, but still right there in the heart of Old Town. We will definitely be staying there again!

This is a little jewel in the Old Town. The rooms are attractively renovated and the location is ideal for exploring. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, who arranged transfers from the airport and to the port, helped with suitcases on the steep walk, and generously shared their love and knowledge of Dubrovnik.

This was the cutest room ever. Very cozy and comfortable with a good bathroom and amazing views. I absolutely love how well it was decorated and how soft it just felt. I do wish there was a little less mold around the window frames and above the shower. I'm in a sensitive group for mold and was very concerned. However, it didn't cause any issues and I would still book the same room on a future return trip.

Dubrovnik Sweet House was a fantastic location centrally located in the Old Town and very close to just about everything you would want to see in Dubrovnik. The room was very nice and comfortable but note that there are a lot of stairs to get to it but the owner met us before we got to the Old Town gate and walked us up to the room which was very helpful. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Sweet House in Dubrovnik offers a lovely and charming room, perfect for a comfortable stay. However, be prepared for a bit of a climb, as there are a lot of stairs to reach the property. The only downside was some noise from guests in the room above. Despite this, the owner was extremely attentive and helpful, especially when we had trouble with the air conditioning. Overall, a pleasant experience with minor inconveniences.

Had a lovely four-night stay at Dubrovnik Sweet House in Room 2 (there are 3 in total). The room was very pretty with original features such as shuttered windows & a mezzanine with a view. Bathroom was modern, air conditioning was efficient & everything was spotless. The accommodation was close to all the main tourist sites (no more than a 5-10 minute walk to reach any of them). Would heartily recommend, but be prepared for lots of stairs everywhere in Dubrovnik, but also to reach this property.

Beautiful location right in the middle of Old Town Dubrovnik. The property was perfect for what we needed. The decor was lovely. Small downside was that we could hear every footstep and conversation of the people above our room. Other than that we had the best stay and I would definitely recommend.

Fab location but expensive
The location of this accommodation is great, out of the way so peaceful but only a short walk to all the attractions. We had a swim everyday from Blaze beach bar on the outside of the walls, just a 30 second walk from the accommodation.
We were however very disappointed with the communication in the lead up to arrival. We messaged the number provided to find out when the room would be available but had no responses even though it had been read on WhatsApp. When we arrived again we messaged and phoned but nothing. We ended up just arriving outside and hoping we would someone how be able to get in. It was very poor and added unnecessary stress. For the price paid this isn't acceptable. We did meet the owner the next day who said he was out of town the day we arrived....
Whilst the room is nice.... Considering no breakfast included and the lack of any cleaning or staff the room is incredibly over-priced.

The place, for all of you Game of Throne junkies, is located literally a stones throw from the stairs of shame. But its set back and quiet. Beware older folks or those with physical challnges, as there are a lot of sttep stairs you must clime to get to your room.
Tone, and i mean tops of dining options within a 3 min. Walk too. The staff were quite responsive too. I give it a thumbs up stay.

Dubrovnik Sweet House is steps away from the steps of \"Shame\" in the Game of Thrones scene, known to Google Maps as the Jesuit Stairs. It is clean, modern and spacious -- I traveled solo, but the place is great for two.
The owner's son met me on the day of check-in. They also allowed early check-in. It was amazing! I got to shower and enjoy Dubrovnik within hours of arriving without having to worry about my bags. They also allowed me to keep my bags for a few hours as I waited for check-in time for my next apartment.

For those who may have a hard time with stairs getting to the apartment itself requires walking up stairs as well as walking up in the room to the bathroom. Right in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik, this quaint hotel was perfect for our 5 day trip. It's only a few minutes walk to all restaurants and shops too.
The staff were incredible and welcoming, and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. Can't recommend this place enough.
The stairs to get to the house can be a chore but if you approach it from the Old Port and head to the steps that Cersei began her walk of shame, it's much much easier.

The property is in a good location, however I have never stayed anywhere with such thin walls. You can hear EVERYTHING from the people on the top floor. If you choose to stay here do not book room 1.

The only negative is the stairs, lots of steps to get to the apartment and when inside narrow steep steps to get to the room, steep steps from the bedroom to the bathroom, certainly would not recommend fir anyone who has difficulty getting upstairs.

I was so thrilled upon walking into the Sweet House, it was far better than I had anticipated and absolutely the best place we stayed whilst travelling through Croatia. Great location for the Old Town, great facilities and a beautiful features.

We have had the best time in Dubrovnik. The location of this apartment was perfect but there were a lot of steps to get there and with 25kg of luggage it was hard work. Plan your route and it will be easier. Get your airport taxi to drop you off at Dubravka 1836 (also a lovely restaurant), walk down to the Main Street, past cafe Arsenal (great for lunch) and then around through a little side street on the right to Cafe Royal. You will see in front of you a set of stairs that looks up to what looks like a bridge platform. Walk up the first section of stairs and turn right at the coffee hatch. Nearly there......keep walking under the covered tunnel of wooden beams and it’s your next left. Go up the steps and Dubrovnik Sweet House is on your right hand side after about the 2nd section of steps. Believe me this is a much better route than being dropped off at the cable car entrance of the old town. X

More of a house than a hotel, it is clean and comfortable. The bathroom was up a flight of stairs but was very modern with a great shower. The house is in a great location in the old city but you needed to walk up a total of 100 steps inside and out to get to our second floor room!!! There is no staff and no housekeeping for short stays The owner’s son met us on the first day to show us the room and came by on the last day for payment. Cash only. He gave us his cell number in case we needed anything but the room was very well stocked with towels, toilet paper and soap . We really enjoyed staying here and figured the steps were good to counteract the Dubrovnik ice cream
