The location on the Eugen Doga pietonala was amazing and the proximity to the Stefan cel Mare Park was incredible. However, the front desk agents were rude and dismissive. The minibar in the room was stuffed with drinks and candy that was not needed, since we needed to refrigerate for our own things and had no space. No need for the overpriced stuff to be placed in the mini fridge. The expandable sofa was rough and not comfortable at all; it gave me backaches. I only recommend staying for the location.

All extra drinks like mineral water, cappuccino are very expensive. Last time I prepared a breakfast but receive very poor breaks fast pack because there was not so many other clients on that morning and restaurant decided not to open breakfast. For price of breakfast you can have some quit great morning meal

A beautiful hotel right in the centre of the city but on a quiet, pedestrianised street. The staff were very helpful and found us a room straight away even though we checked in at 09.30, superb service! Good choice of food at the breakfast buffet (especially the fresh fruit), there was also a restaurant but we did not try this. Plenty of restaurants and cafes all around serving traditional food (would recommend La Placinte). Beautiful parks a few minutes walk from the hotel. Unfortunately no tea/coffee in the room however an excellent coffee shop right opposite plus another in the park.

Down sides: Cracked shower cabin floor which was superglued, shower head covered in limescale and kitchen sink metal strainer in the bathroom sink drainage hole. There was no plug. Hotel staff were helping themselves to breakfast the same time as the guests. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no iron. Staff were not welcoming.

Great little hotel in Chisinau. The rooms are new, spacious, and clean, the staff and service are good, and the hotel is in a perfect location one minute away from the main city park. The mini bar in the room has very reasonable prices and offers a selection of Moldovan beer and wine. There are several indoor/outdoor cafes and restaurants on the same block, including the delicious Creme de la Creme, and many more a short walk away. There is also a lovely little French cafe in the city park where you can get coffee or a light breakfast or snack and then sit at tables in the park and enjoy it. It's also easy for taxis or tour guides to find and get to the hotel. I won't hesitate to stay here again when I come back to Chisinau--there's no way to top it!

the bad: Prior to check in we called the hotel staff and asked them how loud is it going to be on the property. My father suffers from insomnia so it was important for him to be able to sleep after taking his medicine. Instead up until ~1:30am the downstairs karaoke was going full force. Came down twice to ask when it will finish and the staff just insisted each time that “it’s about to be over”. Eventually the karaoke stopped but never did the staff apologize or offer to move us from third floor (where our rooms were conveniently right above the karaoke restaurant) to any of their higher floors, of which they have seven. If they warned us and said on that call that there will be loud karaoke the night they check in where someone with a less than pleasant voice will sing until 2 am we would’ve been prepared, but it’s not the best thing to experience after 6 hours of driving.
Another minus, although relates less to the hotel, is that the staff at the cafe where you have your breakfast will make you feel like your presence is ruining their life. They messed up my order and didn’t promise to fix it. But just walked off. Always with that attitude that makes /you/ feel like a bad person, even if you’re just stuttering because you don’t understand something on the menu.

Watch out for greedy taxi drivers in Moldova
Excellent assistance - They accept Trained and legally certified Assistance Dogs- at the last second family were unable to pick us up- having lived in Moldova for 10 years I was concerned about the endless greedy taxi drives at the airport - as expected they wanted 100 euros for a 15 euro ride! The hotel front desk arranged a taxi for 2O euros : And met us as the street to assist with luggage - I am disabled - this was appreciate. Ideal hotel for a 3 night stay in Chisinau. Arranged a transfer with the hotel from the airport for approx. 15 euros each way. Reception staff were helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and of a decent size. The only small criticism was that the shower pressure was quite weak. There was a decent choice of breakfast, but the hot food was cold on one occasion so for the other days we stuck with the cold. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening, meal was nice and there was a good choice, however the wine was significantly more expensive than anywhere else we visited on our trip. Hotel is in a great location - easy walking distance to all the sights and several restaurants. Lots of supermarkets, ATMs and exchange offices nearby.
