Honestly the room wasn't I expected at all. The pictures I viewed online during the booking process did not reflect what I saw in person. The bed sheets & pillow case in my room were not properly cleaned. The staff were very nice & took care of the matter efficiently when I brought it to their attention.

Overall it was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Adequate breakfast for few €.

However, staying here in November was not ideal as they do not have heating in the rooms and our room was extremely cold.

I assume, had we stayed in Summer, it would’ve been smooth, but in winter it was very cold and uncomfortable in the room.

No pool. Breakfast is ok. Cleaning was horrible when we arrived. I complained and ask specifically to clean and repair lights. They did. Bed and blankets are the worst you can imagine. We got the best property suite bc the assigned one didn't have AC, so we had to pay $25 extra for it, which was supposed to be included. I decided to take a shower around 11pm: no hot water at all. I complained in the morning and they told me it was, the problem was that I probably didn't know how to get it work(?). When we came back in the 2nd day evening, still no hot water. A different receptionist told me it was because we hadn't ask for it (?). So he went to the 2nd floor to turn it on. Even though it didn't work, so he went back and told me NOW it will work. And it worked. Besides the very good location, (near the beach and the mall) the experience was bad.

This place is excellent. Great people. In a really good location, close to the beach, the port, and not far from alot of the cool lil tight shopping areas if you wanna do that. Just up the street from the main waterfront road, so you can catch a bus or taxi anywhere. About half an hour walk to the tanger ville train station. Breakfast is included and they provide laundry service. 2 minimarts across the street. Great place

The towels weren't clean and there was no hot water. We requested to switch rooms and they wouldn't accommodate us even though we had only used the toilet. (Hadn't touched anything else in the room) The noise was a problem late into the night you could hear doors slamming and people talking. It is what it is. I'm glad it wasn't super expensive but I also wish it had been a little nicer.

Hotel location is excellent, near to major touristic sites and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We recommend this location.
Breakfast could be much better, just one small cup of coffee per person and just bread.Room has not air conditioner, if you go on summer, make sure your room has air conditioner.Room was out of date and some items were broken. Even though there were other rooms much better, make sure you choose one of those, pay more, but worth it.

Please take this review seriously.

The staff was very friendly and gracious but the service was very poor. When we needed replacement towels we had to wait for our dirty towels to get cleaned— it’s seemed they didn’t have enough cleaned ones on reserve. Even with 3 different WiFi spots, the WiFi was very spotty and would drop calls. The bathroom was very small and very basic and gave off a foul odor that wouldn’t go away for the entire 7 days that we were there. We had to leave the little window open to somewhat air out the place. The shower was clogged when we arrived prompting us to ask to have it unclogged (we presumed it was hair). The parking was a challenge. If you arrived anytime after 9 or 10, the chances of you finding a spot is very slim. They advertise that parking is available- and it is- but only if you work out a side deal with the parking attendants. I spent about 60$ for the week that I was there ensuring I had a spot saved for me. This hotel has A LOT of potential and could be one of the premier places to stay if they just worked out the many issues they have. The Moroccanesque look that the hotel is going for is attractive and a high point of the place. The staff is multilingual and very helpful— even with the limited hotel resources that they had. In my opinion OWNERSHIP needs to get their act together and invest a little money into this place. Again, if they did that, this place would be amazing. I hope they see and take what I had to say seriously.

One day stopover so the location was ideal. 20 min walk along the esplanade from the railway station and on the edge of the old city. An older building with basic comforts, reasonable value for money. Quiet street

Do not stay here..

The location of this hotel is very good, walking distance to things. Staff is very helpful. However, there is no heat in the room. It was too cold. When taking shower, we started with hot water and finished it with cold water. We made the reservation for 3 people, we checked in 3 people, but they gave us only 2 towels which are 100 years old, color changed from white to grey. Not a comfortable place to stay. Not recommend it.

The hotel was basic. We had a twin room which was quite tired the bathroom was clean but the shower water went all over the floor under the curtain. The court yard area was lovely and the staff were great - really helpful. The internet was intermittent.

We had a pleasant stay. The staff at the hotel were quite friendly and helpful. They helped with organizing a tour for the day in Tangier and also a trip to Assila. Our guide was not only very informative but also quite funny. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Tangier.

Just stayed overnight before morning bus to Chefchoen. Wifi didn't work anywhere except standing directly in front of front desk (not in room or on central patio). No hot water for showers which was a shame since we'd been traveling for 12 hours. Room and sheets smelled musty but there were blankets. Sign at front desk said breakfast at 7 but when we went to check out at 7:10 to grab some food and walk to our bus, the manager said it would take 30 min to make. Staff did wait for us to check in at 1:30 am without fees. So other than no wifi, no breakfast, and no hot showers, it was an adequate place to sleep.

the hotel is well situated and the personnel is helpful and provide quick answer and services
the room was clean an rather big with a full equipped bathroom. The breakfast was correct and served in a nice patio open. Moreover the Wi-Fi works well
I found 2 drawback
a) Steps: Accessibility may be difficult since stairs have big steps and nothing is flat
b) The room door was weak and wall thin so if your neighbor is making noise you hear it well :-(

While the people working there were very nice, it is by far the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. Filthy doesn't even begin to described it. I got the only bug bites on my 4 week trip to Spain and Africa here, and a lot of bites, from god knows what. I'm sorry, I would never reccomend this hotel to anyone. The lads at the desk were very nice though and the hotel was very cheap. So, you get what you pay for. Really, really gross.

A home from Home

We are a couple in our early 60s and although nearly all the guests in this budget hotel were young, it was fun for us to be there. We had a ten day holiday in Tangier which is too long if you are wanting to do 'tourist stuff' every day but great if you are wanting a complete break. We found this hotel to have an excellent location, not in the centre but close enough, a very friendly and helpful staff and a very good budget hotel. We appreciated it and want to say thank-you. We would return.

Great inexpensive stay for one night in Tangier

We had little trouble finding the place, once we could figure out the right street (few to no street signs, everyone we asked was confused when asked about a street name). It's the only little historic-looking building surrounded by modern monstrosities in a residential neighborhood of the modern city in Tangier. We walked there from the ferry and then walked from the hotel to the medina for some exploring. Felt safe in the area and the walks were not bad.

The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part, and we were able to slip breakfast in right at the start of its advertised time before we had to catch an 8 AM bus (we walked out to a main street and caught a taxi to the station, but it's only about a 15 minute walk away if you're not in too much of a hurry).

The room was fine, though the bed is rather hard. Bathroom was fine, too. Overall, it's about what you paid for and perfectly adequate for a night's stay. Nothing marvelous, but not a dive either, and the historic aspect makes it fun and unique.

Si vous voulez dormir dans un style maghrébin, c'est le meilleur endroit.
Le petit déjeuner Marocain est très bon et largement suffisant, avec le plus important le thé à la menthe et le msemen.
Tout le personnel est aimable et serviable.
Juste eut quelque petites coupures de climatisation et électricité mais le personnel intervient rapidement.
La chambre Deluxe a la clim.
Si vous voulez le changement de serviettes et qu'ils vous fassent la chambre il faut laisser la clé à l'accueil.

Cela fait plus de 20 ans que je voyages, fait des audits dans des hôtels à travers le monde, chaque année je descend au Maroc et fait escale par Tanger et essaie à chaque fois un nouveau mode d’hébergement (hôtel, apparhotel, Riad) mais là, entre la description sur le site et en vrai, ce n’est plus de la déception c’est du mensonge. Donc pour faire court (pas de parking comme préciser, pas de télévision qui marche et ont vous dis tout simplement que ça ne marche pas, nettoyage des chambres et de la salle de bains, déplorable (ma femme n’a même pas voulu laver ma fille dedans) et je ne vous parle pas du fameux déjeuner continental qui je pense pour le dirigent de l’hôtel, cela correspond à une crêpe, un croissant et un café ou chocolat et un petit verre de jus d’orange et surtout n’allez pas demander un supplément, car tout de suite un des membres du personnel vous sort comme phrase « vous en avez pour votre argent » énorme la réflexion

O riad é agradável, de uma forma geral. Os quartos são bonitos e a cama confortável. O problema é o serviço - não fazem limpeza dos mesmos. Dormi 3 noites sempre com a cama por fazer. Os pequenos-almoços são fracos - pouca quantidade e croissants de pacote. Trazem um sumo de laranja num copo de shot. A rua é muito ruidosa, não se consegue dormir de janela aberta. É pena pois em Fez fiquei também em riads com muito melhor relação qualidade/preço.

Bonjour je tient a souligné que cet endroit n'a rien a voir avec les photos du site hotel.com
Je m explique :nous avons pris une semaine a 370 euros , nous avons eu une chambre qui ressemble a un cachot , jusqu'à que le gars et le patron de l hotel nous proposent une suite pour 100 dirham par nuit en plus , nous acceptons car pas le choix , la chambre etais humide , la climatisation ne fonctionner pas , la tele non plus tout est casser ou en piteux etat , mais le plus marrant dans cette histoire qui est une grosse arnaque, c est que pour avoir une chambre avec la clim , il faut payer plus
Et prendre une suite deluxe a 65 euros sauf que sur hotel.com toutes les chambres ont le meme prix
Ma chambre avais la climatisation, télévision mais rien ne fonctionné, literie désastreuse, et en general je vous passe les details mais pour le rapport qualité prix , je croit que on est loin du compte
