Some friendly advice,
The location is wonderful, but
DO NOT stay here. Spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else.
Problems with this room:
1) UNRELIABLE INTERNET
2) I stepped in a white sticky spot next to the bed
3) No coffee pot (or tea kettle) as advertised and shown in the photo
4) There was no way to get an extra pillow because there was never anybody at the reception desk
5) Mattress cover had SEVERE pilling
(fabric bumps) and caused nerve pain in my surgical leg
6) The sheet was too small for the bed. Every time I moved, I would end up directly on the mattress cover
7) There is a spotlight right outside the window and the \"curtain \" is NOT a blackout panel
8) The TV doesn't work
9)There was a loud hissing sound from the radiator when I turned it on to warm up the room. I ended up turning it off because the sound was NOT normal
10) There was only 1 hanger in the room, and nowhere else to hang clothes, except on the coat hooks
Number 11 is on me, just be aware
11) If I didn't have a burner phone that could receive messages, I would have been unable to get in my room. The property sent a message through Expedia, but since I don't have an account, I was unable to access the message. I was also unable to call the phone number posted on the door of the hotel because my phone was not set up to make or receive calls. Thankfully, I did receive a text message from the property so I could get into the building, otherwise I would have lost my money on the booking.

In general, the hotel seems smelly, dirty and not inviting to stay at. There is a friendly receptionist, but the rooms are very spartanly furnished without any kind of comfort or pleasantness. Cold and depressing and extremely bad air. The only window was towards the mature food area which is a very small and closed atrium room. everyone has an open window, which gives a loud acoustics of what is going on in other rooms, which can be a bit frustrating when partying and having loud sex at 03:30 PM. it is possibly the premise of the location which I was unfamiliar with when I booked, but I will never stay there again

Tried twice online to cancel my two nights. Input email, confirmation number etc. To no avail. And you cannot call any number, as there is none. Have stayed there 3 times before, all good, but this year I broke my shoulder and could not travel. When the last night (16th Dec) came around
i managed to get hold of the concierge, who told me his boss or supervisor would call me. Never happened.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was quite close to a pedestrian shopping street. The room was comfortable and clean.

The rest of this review comes from the perspective as an American traveling abroad. Europeans would probably find this to be a pretty normal hotel setup.

I guess I missed that the hotel is situated on a walking street and that there is no way to unload without parking in a nearby garage. It took me several loops around the block to find the public parking garage.

We were also surprised to be met with a flight of stairs from the street to the lobby. And another spiral staircase up to our room. It was fine for us and there did seem to be a carrier to haul luggage up the stairs. Older vacationers might want to check on this before booking their stay.

Even with surprises, the hotel was charming and quiet considering that it is conveniently located on a street full of restaurants and bars.

The window to my room opened onto the breakfast room which is weird and there was obviously noise disruption because of that.
The breakfast was very basic with to many sugary items and there were pictures on the walls that I found too obscene for a breakfast/ lounge area.
On the first day I asked if I could store my luggage and was told to leave it next to the reception in an open access area. I was informed this was secure but did not feel comfortable. Only after check out when asking a different member of staff if I could store my luggage again was I informed there is a secure, locked room just around the corner from reception. This was a better.
The central location and service were good.

Incredibly small rooms!

I never realized hotel rooms could be this small until I arrived in Aalborg. The room was legitimately the size of a train compartment - so small that I could stand by the door and reach my leg across to touch the opposite wall. Oh well. It’s Scandinavia - high prices, for very little. The breakfast was good, but served in a bit of a cramped corner, so people were shoving me, and I was shoving them. It’s good enough for a night, but at this price, it might be better to spend a few more Kroner and give yourself some breathing room.

You get what you pay for

Had a pretty ok stay here with my boyfriend. Was plesantly surpised by the size of our room - it was much bigger than it looked like in the pictures. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but then again, I could see they did what they could with the size of the buffet. Would 100% recomend if you are going to Aalborg to party as it's located in what seems like the main party street.

We had 3 rooms and ours faced the street. It was so loud all night long, and until 6am, that sleep was not possible. It was very hot so the windows had to be open but even so, the noise came through closed windows. These rooms should not even be available for rental on Thursday through Sunday which is when staff said were the party nights. Breakfast was just adequate. Just stay somewhere else as Aalborg is nothing special.

Middle of everything

Great for a short sleepover (1-3 nights) rooms has no airconditioning and the windows are facing in to the breakfast area/relax area. Can be a bit hot. Beds are good and the hotel overal is in great condition. Perfect located in the middle of everything and the bar street. Short walk for shopping, restaurantes etc. Recommended!

A drinker's Paradise!

I was forewarned by the car rental guy at the Aalborg Airport that the Jomfru Ane was ideal if my intent was to drink, due to its proximity to many bars, and even a strip club! The hotel has a long flight of entrance stairs so be careful and take your multivitamins. If inebriated, don't attempt scaling those stairs. Not place for children. Breakfast area has framed sexually themed imagery. Guests do get half off parking at the nearby Q-Park (cost of 80 Kroners a day). A Mac store is nearby, as is a 7Eleven to purchase cheaper beer and a SIM card. Two stars!

great stay with awesome location.

it was a great central location for all the most happening area in the city.
i had access to all the top bars and clubs during the week.
the noise goes until 5:30 am daily. on the weekends it goes til 6:30.
i knew this before going into the trip but didnt realize it was super loud. i didnt want to use ear plugs because i needed to wake up early for my work and didnt want to miss it.
the staff is great, the breakfast is solid and the room is small but enough space for me and my bags. bathroom was clean but only downfall is the room didnt have air conditioning. it was quite warm but cant open the windows because its too loud and also poeple smoke and it comes to my room.

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was small but OK, located at the back of the hotel away from the road noise, but had free earplugs on the bedroom table. These were rather pointless as when the nightclub 2 floors below started playing, the bed and other furniture in the room started to vibrate to the beat, it was so loud you could tell which song they were playing. This went on until way after 3am. I book a hotel room in order to have somewhere to sleep, this hotel failed on the basic requirement

Ok boende det låg centralt nära till gågatan och restauranger.
Frukosten mycket dåligt utbud, fanns 2 olika Youghurt som båda var sötade, söta flingor 2 olika bröd och ost eller skinka att välja på apelsinjuice och kaffe eller te detta kostade 110 dkr/person (165 skr). Liten toalett där handfatet var så litet att vattnet hamnade på golvet när man tvättade sig samma när man duschade sig. Ingen golvskrapa eller golv handduk. Vi tog en handduk som vi fick hänga på tork i fönstret. Inget byte av handdukar eller städning.
Hotellet ligger på en bargata och pubarna hade öppet till kl 06..

Das Zimmer war schrecklich. Bettwäsche schmutzig, Haare im Raum, Lampe überm Spiegel im Bad defekt, Fläche unter der Dusche total verkalkt. Lüftung funktionierte gar nicht, sehr warm und muffig im Zimmer. Fenster zum Frühstücksraum -> keine Frischluft! Klimaanlage war nicht vorhanden, lediglich ein Ventilator. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr spartanisch. Die Wandbilder im Frühstücksraum sind nicht jugendfrei, auch Erwachsene mögen solch Anblicke nicht zum Frühstück. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Der stod at det var lydisolerede værelser og der var meget larm både fra gaden og fra gangen. Personalet kunne ikke dansk og var ubehjælpsomme - vi måtte gøre opmærksom på, når der manglede kaffe, pandekager mv til morgenmaden. \"Morgenbuffeten\" var meget tarvelig - f.eks var der kun en slags rugbrød og en slags franskbrød og det var hvidt brød. Ingen croissanter eller lign. Der var generelt nusset. Personalet virkede også nusset og man skulle tjekke om bestik til morgenbordet var rent. Manglede rydning af sne og saltning foran indgangsdøren. Intet Personale om aftenen.

Det var galt med stort set det hele.
Vi var en gruppe på 4 der boede på hotellet. Den eneste værelse var ikke gjort rent og klartgjort til ny gæst, en anden havde ikke fået hans check-ind oplysninger.
Morgenmaden har intet med kontinetal morgenmad at gøre.
Der stank af kloak i hele hotellet de prøvede at overdøve med luftfrisker.
På mit værelse specifikt var madrassen så ujævn kun 1/3 del af kroppen havde kontakt med den, og der var så meget støv fnulder under lagnene at den kontakt man havde på madrassen føltes som at ligge på grus.
På det ene håndklæde var der spor af blod eller afføring ligesom der var rester af enten opkast eller afføring på væggen nær sengen.
Radiatorne var låst til ikke at kunne stilles højere end 3½ som var alt for lidt med -5 grader.
Det var lige så lyst som en midsommer aften da mørkelægningsgardinet var komplet ineffektiv og værelset lå ud til morgenmadssalen hvor man havde kraftigt lys tændt døgnet rundt selvom salen var aflåst om aftenen.
Der var stort set intet tryk i bruserhovedet så det var vanskeligt bare at skylde sæbe af kroppen og umuligt hvis man har lidt tryk hår.
Ofte virkede koden man fik til dørene ikke ved hovedindgangen og man endte med at skulle stå 5 min og vente på systemet nulstillede og den ville acceptere koden. Om sommeren er det måske ikke et problem men når det er vinter og -5 grader er det et problem.
Et motel eller vandrehjem vil have bedre forhold en dette hotel.

Jeg havde desværre et dårligt ophold på hotellet i Jomfru Ane Gade. Værelset lugtede ubehageligt, og rengøringen var langt under standard – sengen virkede beskidt, og rummet generelt føltes uhygiejnisk. Morgenmaden var af lav kvalitet og virkede hverken frisk eller appetitlig. Alt i alt en oplevelse, der ikke lever op til forventningerne, og jeg kommer ikke til at booke her igen.
