The breakfast was great! When booking a family room the site we used said there was air conditioning and there was not. That would be our only complaint. Opening the window for air meant we heard the street noise and keeping it closed it was very hot in the room.
Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and delightfully surprised by the breakfast spread.

Stayed only one night. Staff very helpful and breakfast was delicious.

Very clean and minimalist room design. Housekeeping was great! Cleaned out all the sand from Skagen. Breakfast was a bonus and the food was scrumptious. Location was quite central. Staff were friendly and helpful
Matija
Room was clean, no conplains about staff, they were all helpfull. Breakfast was average not a big selection. A lot of the pictures that was advertised by Hotels.com were the pictures of the surrounding are not the hotel itself so they can be a bit misleading. It was too hot in my room.
Leif
Parking is 97.50 DKK. Did it feel safe? Not really. In the middle of town. Huge parking area, with few places available at 19.00. The hotel itself is ok, we were upgraded to a Superior, which was appropriated. It did however make us wonder what the standard room was like, as there was nothing Superior about the Superior room.
Mario
The room was cold the first night. I do not like you have to go over several steps to actually enter the hotel with your luggage. There is no ramp or small elevator. Just steps … 7-10 steps to haul your luggage.
Peter
Clean room. Good view of water. Walkable to many areas of Aalborg. Large variety of breakfast choices. Staff very accommodating.
Linus
Construction work at 7:00 a.m. in the morning woke us up.
The air in the room was so bad that we could barely breathe without opening the windows. I would not recommend this hotel for a family only a traveler looking for a bed.

Our room was not serviced on the first morning, when we enquired we were told you had to place the ‘clean my room’ hanger on the outside of your room door, the receptionist did not inform us of this on arrival.
The breakfast finished at 10 but at 945 around 15 staff members descended on the buffet and wiped out the remaining food leaving very little for the guests. Our friends arrived at 945 to practically no food and no kitchen staff were in attendance refilling.
We have never experienced hotel staff joining guests during breakfast hours ever!

Nice Hotel
Had a very good one night stay at the Kompass hotel. Room was good with an adequate size for our family. Breakfast was good with sufficient choice. Parking a bit complicated with EasyPark Park but got it figured out after a few minutes. Easy walk to downtown. A place to recommend if you are heading that way.
Paul
Very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and wonderful hospitality. Breakfast is good and adequate assortment of breads and beverages.
Peter
Property was in a good location with many restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was extensive it had scrambled eggs and bacon daily as well as cheese, meat and danish options. Many hot and cold beverage options. Room was clean with necessary furniture. No refrigerator provided.

Noise in the room from air duct kept me awake.
They gave me a new room no problem.

Særs behjelpelig og hyggelig personale. Gode parkeringsmuligheter.

Veldig hyggelig opphold. Bra rom med balkong.

Let parkering lige uden for indgangen. Pæne værelser og rent over alt.
