Room very comfortable beds&pillow great, quiet room 332 even opposite lift.
The breakfast was superb, have never had so much choice of breakfast, outstanding.
Staff very helpful and accomodating. Overall the best stay in Aalborg or other hotels ive been to in Europe.

The hotel was close by to everything I needed from transport to shops to dining. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly and patient with me as I don’t speak English also as I suffer from anxiety I had a few moments where I needed some help and confirmation on things. The room I had was the junior suite and it was clean and tidy, a little warm however you can request for adjustments in the room temperature as I was only sleeping in there I didn’t really want to bother them. Breakfast was plenty full and much choice, from cereals to continental to cooked food even ginger shots, juices and coffee and tea. Coffee was magnificent I must say. If I ever visit Aalborg again this hotel will be my choice to stay again.

An Adequate Hotel

We had stayed at two other Scandic hotels in Norway and knew what to expect. At least we thought so. This was a step below their Norway counterparts. The lobby was okay, but rather small. The parking was insufficient. The front desk/bartender was overworked. The breakfast, although more than adequate, was no where near the Norway levels. Overall, the place needs a makeover.

Terrible check in claiming that I had not booked through Hotels.com and they had no reservation or room for me, but that I had probably been scammed. I book through the site several times a month and told them that I thought it was rather unlikely that I had got wrong. After 15 mins of arguing they found the reservation, but no apology. Several other guests in reception seemed to have had the same experience, but the hotel staff were not interested. Not staying there again.

Not a suite-experience

The positives:
We were moved from a hotel downtown, due to the Carnival. The move was very professionally handled. Thumbs Up.
The breakfast at the hotel was excellent.
It was clean.

The negatives:
The rooms were small...the bathroom was a joke: I almost could not fit in the shower (but yes: I am a big man, so...).
There was no view.
The service at the hotel did not reflect a 200+ Pound/1900 kr experience.
There was no lift to the 2nd floor.

Will I got there for another stay: No way!
Will I choose (another) Scandic hotel again? Hmmm...probably not. At that price, I can find something better.

Good, close to important places in Aalborg

Good, cozy hotel. There is a parking in front although during the weekend is totally packed and it is difficult to find parking space. Rooms are small. Breakfast was quite nice, needs more fruit options. It was excellent to have other “milk” options like almond milk. Thanks for that. Overall, if you don’t need to spend a lot of time in the room, the hotel is totally ok.

This was my second stay here. This time around, my only complaint was the pillows that were a bit too soft for my liking. But I managed. Bed itself was very comfortable. Other than that, the staff was very welcoming and I had a good night. It is a quiet area that takes you to the city center in 10-15 minutes. Other than that, a few eating options right around. I had a superior room, which comes with a voucher to be redeemed for snacks and/or drinks. Anyway, I liked that extra touch. Breakfast was good and other than that, the room was comfortable and airy. It's nice to have the hardwood floors in the room too. When in Aalborg, I would be back there.

FANTASTISK SERVICE! Jeg er meget gangbesværet og går med krykker pga. sygdom. Jeg fik simpelt hen den mest fantastiske service af den unge kvinde i receptionen. Hun tilbød hjælpemidler og bar min taske hen på værelset, da jeg ankom fredag. Og da jeg tjekkede ud om søndagen var hun der også, og endnu en gang usædvanlig hjælpsom - det er jeg utrolig taknemmelig for. TAK for dig!

Nice room but way to soft mattresses

The junior suite was excellent, but the bed mattress was way to soft and basically prevented both of us in getting much sleep. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the place in general was very nice. Service was absolutely splendid. Parking on the parking lot outside the building is recommended.

Værelse top i orden, elevator og klima brummede

Vi kom måske halvbeduggede på værelset grundet fest i byen. Til trods for det kunne vi ikke falde i søvn, selvom sengene var lækre.
Men aircon/klima larmede som en bjørn, og når man bor ved siden af elevatoren på øverste etage ved du PRÆCIS hvor mange gange den kører i løbet af natten!

Sover der aldrig mere, trods venlig personale, pænt og rent, og rigtig lækker morgenmad.
