Room was comfortable and clean enough but the lifts were awful, staying on the 9th floor, 16 floors total, you couldn't not use the loft. Only 2 of 4 running when I visited, a colleague was stuck in a loft for 1 hour. Very old and slow, regular long wait times. For this reason, I wouldn't stay again.

I disliked this hotel immediately from check in with the rather snobby front desk agent, and then I get to my room and find that -surprise- no air conditioning! Nowhere in any of the write ups in Expedia or on the hotels website does it say \"no air conditioning\", and being a part of Wyndham hotels you would think It would have all the mod-cons. My room stank of either new paint or new carpet which left me with a headache and the hallway had no carpet so you could hear every footstep out there. To top it off there was no water for several hours one day AND for all of this, they have the audacity to charge you $23 per day to park IN THEIR OWN PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. I would never stay here again.

Wonderful location, walkable, 10 min from train station easy access through park, quiet, safe. Room was impressive, 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, kettle, lovely sitting area in room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty of options. Would recommend more coffee machines, always a line up!!! Would stay here again!!!!

We really enjoyed being at this hotel. Everything was clean, staff helpful and excellent breakfast buffet. Parking was easy either in the lot in front, or underground. Easy walking to a nice park, city center area, and train station. We could have done more walking, less driving. Loved our view from our room's window!

We enjoyed our stay in Aalborg at Comwell Hvide Hus. The facilities were nice, clean and staff was helpful. The location was perfect. Easy access to major roads and within walking distance of the central area. Nice park nearby. Parking was convenient by front door or underground. Loved the view from our 14th floor room!

Jeg tjekkede ind og fik et værelse, hvor afløbet i badet var stoppet. Man kunne kun bade i omkring ét minut, før vandet løb ud over gulvet. Derudover var sengetøjet beskidt, og der var hår i sengen, hvilket jeg også har billeder af. Dagen efter gik jeg ned i receptionen og fik et nyt værelse. Desværre var der også her hår i sengen, og der lå en brugt makeup-dut på gulvet, hvilket siger en del om rengøringen. Derudover lugtede badeværelset kraftigt af kloak, en forfærdelig stank.

Mögel i badrum

Mycket mögel i badrummet. Påvisade detta till personalen som låtsades vara helt ovetandes. Bad om ett nytt rum, vilket jag fick. Även detta rum hade mögel i badrummet. Eftersom jag hälsade på min dotter så ville jag inte lägga ner dyrbar tid med att bråka med hotellet. När jag köper ett 4 stjärnigt hotell så förväntar jag mig att det är nästintill i topp. Frukosten var också rätt kass. Dåligt med grönsaker och endast några få pålägg. Inte den där hotellfrukosten man ser framemot.

Fint hotell som kan bli bedre.

Fint og litt slitt hotell. Det er delvis renovert og er gjennomgående stilig. Veldig god atmosfære. Hotellet ligger vakkert til, omgitt av fine parker. Frokosten er ok, men jeg synes det er irriterende at de ikke har appelsinjuice (kun en blanding av appelsin og gulrøtter, som ikke var god). Rommet var veldig fint og utsikten fra 10 etg er fantastisk. Litt nedtur at det er veldig dårlig trykk i dusjen, det reduserer jo komforten.

Trevligt hotell nära stationen

Vi har bott på hotellet flertalet gånger under de senaste 20 åren och nu var det tydligt att de behöver renovera på flera ställen. Badrummen var t.ex. gamla.
För att vara ett 4-stjärniga hotell saknade jag bodylotion och balsam. Det var bara en kudde per person i sängen. Hade gärna sett fler.

Väldigt välstädat. Plus att hotellet bjöd på kaffe och vatten i lobbyn. Trevlig personal. Bra utbud på frukosten.

Forbedringer ønskes

Der er mulighed for forbedringer.!! Ved morgenmaden var kaffe udvalget ikke værdigt et større hotel. Det er første gang jeg ikke kunne få hverken en café latte eller varm mælk. Da jeg spurgte om mælken kunne varmes, så jeg kunne drikke den med kaffen der var i kaffebeholderne fik jeg Nej som svar.
Vi måtte til receptionen for at bede om puder for at kunne sidde i sengen. De var behjælpelige i receptionen, men dette er også under almindelig standard.
Badeværelset meget trængt. Ingen plads til at sætte en toilet taske.

Fikk et rom i 14. etg. med fantastisk utsikt. Nyoppusset og moderne, meget bra. Hadde det meste bortsett fra kjøleskap. Frokosten var bra, men ikke på nivå med resten av inntrykket av hotellet. Ikke av de rimeligste hotell, og det ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men kvaliteten er god. Nydelige senger med nye puter, dyner og sengetøy av høy kvalitet. Mange tv-kanaler (også norske'9l. Flott opphold hos Comwell Hvide Hus!

Bestilte 3 rom hos Comwell Hvide Hus veldig sent samme dag som overnatting grunnet uheldige omstendigheter annet sted og ble møtt med et supert serviceminded personell som var veldig behjelpelig med både innsjekk og parkering. Det ene rommet vi fikk var helt enestående med to bad (et med toalett og dusj og et med badekar) og vi kunne ikke ha bedt om noen bedre utsikt å våkne til enn utsikten vi fikk over Kildeparken og Aalborg sentrum! De to andre rommene var også rene og fine og hadde standard størrelse. Lite minus med en skade på baderomsdøren for det ene rommet som så ut til å utvikle fuktskade i døren (som burde ordnes asap), men etter personellet ble gjort oppmerksom på dette fikk vi tildelt nytt rom med en gang. Det er heller ikke aircondition på rommene, så det kan bli varmt og tett luft på fine dager, men rommene var tilrettelagt med vifte. Det var også dyr klesvask, men som trolig er standard hotellpriser. Frokost var helt strålende med det meste en kunne ønske av kald og varm mat og drikke.

Tl;dr: God service, flotte rom, god frokost og hotell med gåavstand til det meste (både sentrum, museum og zoo) i Aalborg. Obs! Ingen aircondition. Kan anbefales!

Et skuffende Comwell-hotel

Jeg er normalt fan af Comwell hotellerne, men Hvide Hus i Aalborg kan jeg ikke fortsat anbefale. Der er simpelthen for mange ting der ikke længere fungerer. Hotellet er slidt og der mangler et generelt overskud på stedet.
Fx er der ikke overensstemmelse mellem hjemmesidens menu på restauranten og de kun 3 retter der serveres.
Morgenmadsrestauranten minder mest om en kantine, rugbrødet tørt/gammelt, dårligt filterkaffe, juice er ikke juice, men saftevand.
Manglende skilte ved mange retter. Altså slet ikke den kvalitet på morgenmaden som Comwell-kæden ellers er kendt for.
Derudover arbejdes der med borehammer i betonbygningen, elevator periodevis ude af drift, el-ladestand der ikke virker.
Summasummarum en ret skuffende oplevelse, men priserne er der ikke noget galt med. De er skyhøje, både på overnatning og mad i café/bar.

Sengene var rigtige gode at sove i. Der var lidt larm fra fodgænger overgang hver gang det skiftede fra rødt til grønt. Bade forhold var super. Morgen maden er noget af det bedste vi har oplevet. Så alt i alt et dejligt ophold.
