Overall not bad, I’ve stayed here before and that’s why I felt comfortable staying here again. However, I’m not sure if it was just my room, but the vinyl flooring was not completely glued down (Rm 244). Because the flooring isn’t completely glued, the floor had air under it and as you walk and decompress the air, when you step off, it pops loudly! It was probably the worst room I’ve stayed in because of the ridiculously loud noise the floor creates! I’m sure everyone on the floor heard me though I tried tiptoeing whenever I walked!! Totally unsat!

The room was cozy and clean. There is a patio area in the middle of the hotel, second floor, that has music and drinks served from 5:00 p.m. p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. so don't expect quiet until after 10:00 p.m.

Unfortunately the heavy \"sound proof\" doors to the room are very loud and shake the other rooms when they shut. Someone was going in and out all night keeping us up. The first room had water damaged flooring throughout that was buckled and squishy. I went downstairs and complained and they upgraded my room which was excellent. They did right by me. They didn’t charge any extra.

I recently stayed at The Lexen Hotel for an overnight trip from approximately one hour north while my vehicle was at a local dealership for a warranty repair. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional.
Every member of the staff I encountered was incredibly friendly and professional. They were kind enough to change my accommodations to a first-floor room immediately upon my request. The hotel possesses a great deal of character, and the decor is truly top-notch.
I must say that, overall, this was my best hotel stay to date. It even surpassed my long-time favorite, West Inn and Suites in Carlsbad. I have a saying that boutique hotels are like short men: they work harder for your affection! Affection has been received, The Lexen Hotel.
Even my dealership service advisor was impressed. He arranged my transportation to the hotel and remarked on how well-appointed the property was during both my drop-off and pick-up. He even stated that he will be looking into staying there himself in the future.
I have informed my family and friends of this experience. The Lexen Hotel is now locked in for me and my family. I will definitely return.

We only stayed two nights at this hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The hotel provides sheltered free car parking for guests which felt very safe and secure. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Conveniently the hotel is about 35 min from Griffith Park and the famous Griffith Observatory making it a great location to stay if you want to visit the tourist spots in LA. There is also a variety of restaurants and bars walking distance from the hotel. I recommend “Smokehouse on Main” for great BBQ cuisine. The gym is open 24 hours and has dumbbells and a bench available as well as a cable machine. The usual cardio workout machines are also available.

If you're going to party, it's perfect, but not a great place to get a decent night's sleep. Also, the beds are double, not queen, so cozy if you're used to something bigger.

Less than 15 minutes to Six Flags without any traffic. Included breakfast wasnt bad, just very limited options, mostly carb loaded. Free coffee and juice 24hours a day.
