Room 8 is not much bigger than a broom cupboard. Nothing like the room in the pictures. Certainly not worth the money.
Only 1 chair and once bags were inside there was no room to walk around the bed very disappointing. Would have gone to a premier inn if we had know as their rooms are twice the size!
Windows in the building opposite were only 3m away. So did not feel very private.
It was clean and the decor was in good condition.

Very steep steps at entrance and narrow winding staircases on several floors inside.. difficult with suitcase. We’re elderly but not disabled. Anyone with walking difficulty should avoid this place. Dark basement for breakfast not inviting. Very concerned that 2 fire doors were propped open all night. No staff at all (except at breakfast) threats of being charged for phoning manager after 9pm.

Been here 10 weeks in total and can honestly say one of the most comfortable and friendly b&b i have ever stayed in , and the breakfast is amazing. Then the is the staff and the owner , nothing is too much trouble, lovely.

The room is lovely but delegating check-in procedures is going to drag down your ratings. We received no information about how to enter the premises, how to turn the heat on, etc.which soured the whole effect of a lovely facility. The owner did rectify things but should beware of delgating important tasks to staff unfami,iar with the property.

Excellent b and b, gorgeous decor, super clean. We were in room 7 and as 2 mid and late 70's we found the stairs a bit challenging but it wouldn't put us of from returning as we were very happy with our stay. We highly recommend Parkers B and B, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely little B&B. No staff in attendance at night but not needed. You get a text with your check in door codes on the day. Very slick and no issues. Great spacious room. Lots of nice little touches (cake and decaf tea!) breakfast was excellent

I had a beautiful room, room 6, with an amazing comfy bed, excellent pillows/duvet. A nice spacious shower room. Lots of lovely personal touches. I parked on the road outside as it’s unlimited 6pm to 8am. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The whole place is absolutely spotless and very well looked after. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely room. Can't fault the team at Parkers or the delicious meals provided. Only negative was the absolute racket made by people leaving neighbouring business in the early hours of the morning, and young kids hanging around in the town square opposite at 3am!

We had an amazing stay at Parkers. I would have described my room as luxurious (everything in the room and around the building was to a very high standard). The place was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy. The owner and her staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. I couldn't rate Parkers high enough and cant wait to stay there again in the future.

A really high quality b&b right in the centre of Newtown. Everything of high quality and a good breakfast in the morning. Thoroughly recommended for a stay in Newtown or the surrounding area.

High quality rooms with lovely, thoughtful touches
Very well appointed accommodation, high spec furniture and outstanding comfort. Very considerate host who could not do enough to make my stay a truly memorable one. From fresh milk, to home-made carrot cake in the room, to the really scrumptious breakfasts (I had eggs florentine on day 1 and eggs benedict on day 2) which filled me up for the whole day!
Only downside was access - I was in a single room at the top of the house and the stairs were quite steep so, if you battle with stairs, ask for a room lower down. Having said that, my suitcase was carried for me so it didn't really impact a lot.
On-street parking is available after 6pm and before 8pm but of you want to park all day you may need to look for alternatives.

Perfect compact neat friendly hotel
I was welcomed very well . I was contacted friendly chat cause i was running late which tells me they care fir the customers. Although parking was a bit unclear and difficult at first the hotel staff guided me and directed to a safer parking slot nearby. Comfortable room and good food. The accessories in the room were plenty with regards to breakfast kit and shower kit. Safer and quiet. Breakfast room although compact was goid with huge tele screen in front which was entertaining. In summary i enjoyed my stay. Thanks to the team.

This was by far my best experience to date at a B&B. The room was flawless, i can fault nothing. The bed was incredible, the pillows - perfect, the towels, luxurious. They were kind enough to give us a fan to deal with the unusual heat. Brownies upon arrival. Strong WIFI in our room, Kind and sweet were the mother-daughter combo that checked us in, served our breakfast (which was VERY good) and made suggestions of what to do and where to go during our stay. Would recommend 100% and may return in the future!
