I liked the hotel and staff. My only feedback is that they did not enforce the no smoking policy in the non smoking floor where I stayed. This improved in the latter half of my stay but would advise them to advise their smoking guests not to smoke in the non smoking floors.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. Check-in staff and staff in general were nice and pleasant to deal with. That's the only positive thing I could say about our stay at this property. The family suite we booked and stayed in looked nothing at all like the photo used on Expedia booking. The room and all amenities, furnitures, etc are extremely dated and in poor overall condition. The a/c did not work well at all and ventilation in general was very poor, and the small of stale cigarette smoke persisted throughout our stay. Multiple platters of room service leftovers sat unattended to in a stairwell and were not cleared by housekeeping staff for the 2 nights we stayed there. Our room had an electrical plug that may have been to code for Jordan, but nowhere else, looking like it could short and spark an electrical fire at any moment. The cord to the iron was crimped to the wire and shoddily repaired with packing tape. Overall, we cut our stay short at this hotel and rebooked at the Four Seasons, which was more than we were looking to spend however was necessary as I could not in good conscience expect my family to stay another night at this property. Would definitely NOT recommend.

The hotel was good overall, rooms were clean, and facilities were nice, except for their receptionists (ladies) we checked in 3 hrs after check in time because rooms weren't ready and we were very understanding of their excuses but when we wanted to check out just half an hour after 12 the receptionist (she) was extremely rude.

The frontoffice receptionist Tareq was nice receiving us and he explained to me what things in the spa I can use very friendly. But next day morning. The front officer (she) did not accept late checking out until 3 pm and warning that 1 minute after 2 pm will be charged .

The hotel is very old. The furniture is so much used. The AC has noisy sound. The small refrigerator is very used and is not working . The curtains in the room are torn. What else.. I am not coming to this never again. Thank you Wyndom!!!

Nice hotel with good service

The check in was smooth and we were upgraded. Friendly service and the staff really accommodated to our request on car park, room service etc. We did not find too many restaurants nearby, and if you want to go to the Old City, you would need a car or grab a taxi from the hotel. Even though rooms are non-smoking, we found many guests smoking outside the rooms along the corridor. When we pointed it out to the staff during check out, they were apologetic.

Birthday Holiday!

We went on a holiday to celebrate my wife's birthday and the guys at the Spasso restaurant went out of their way to make it extra special (Thanks to Cookie and Mr Anas for making the arrangements). The service at the front desk and otherwise could have been better. The facilities were not so well-maintained and there is a lot more the hotel can do to improve the customer experience.

Nice hotel in a nice location, easy to access shops and money exchange shops. Mosque is just round thr corner. Hotel staff by the names of Hamzah, Amjad, Tariq, Jude and Sara and most importantly the tour driver Maher was great. Everyone i met makes you feel welcome. There food is great here at the hotel, they have two restaurants, we used one in the morning for breakfast and the other shai Naz Naz for lunch and dinner. Again great staff and food. I would recommend this hotel.

Incompetent staff. Noisy. Never again.

I wrote an extensive review on TripAdvisor. They made us wait in the lobby for an hour because they wanted to know where we booked the reservation. I said I had an e-mail confirmation, but they don't have free wifi to retrieve it and wanted to charge us to use it. They advertise an indoor pool, but after we arrived, told us our kids were not welcome to use it. Our two room suite had a bed and we assumed , incorrectly, that the couch pulled out, but it did not and they wanted to charge us for another bed.... we did book the room for five people and desk admitted they knew there were not enough beds when we arrived. Then there was the obnoxious squealing of tires and honking of horns until at least 3:30 am. Awful hotel. It smelled terribly like smoke too.

I liked the service of the hotel. The room was big and the bed was very soft. The problem was the room was so big they didn't know where to put stuff so there is a big space in the living room with nothing and the other side is packed with everything else. I had to ask for the shower to be fixed. The biggest problem I had was with the internet. You had to pay for it; I'm stay in a 20 dinar a night place in Petra and the internet is completely free. I paid for it, but couldn't get it to work once and they pratically called me a liar when I told them it didn't work.

A nice surprise

After reading other reviews of this hotel prior to traveling with a group I was not looking forward to staying there. However the room was large and clean. The buffet was one of the best hotel buffets we had on the trip. Rabia shopping area is only a 10 minute walk #40get directions and see the local life#41. All in all it was a very pleasant stay. I would recommend it although ask beforehand about your rooms view and location. You want a view of the city not the buildings wall next door.
Be aware though that this hotel will try to charge you for everything including local calls items in your room fridge you didnt take #40they look in your trash can to see what you ate so if you ate something you brought in and put the wrapper in the trash you may be charged for it#41.
