Room could have more storage for clothes, both drawers arms hanging area. The sofa looked like it was not in good condition. The shower was clogged on last morning and reported to the staff on checkout. The staff was very courteous, plenty of amenities and fresh towels when requested.

A beautiful hotel and beach amenities but my 3 star review stems from being alerted on my way to the airport that our first night stay had been cancelled and moved to another Marriott 10 minutes inland- not near the beach or with a pool or amenities that we had been promised. When checking in to the other Marriott hotel the lovely woman at the front desk said we were the 4th ROOM THAT DAY to have been moved! Most likely due to overbooking. So we had lost a day on the beach and added a travel day to our already quick trip. Upon our early morning arrival to this hotel we were greeted by Kathy who gave us drink and one day breakfast vouchers- a nice gesture from a genuine person but more could have been done.

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. Zero complaints. But be warned, if you’re a light sleeper you might be unimpressed. I could clearly hear loud talkers in the room next door. Also, all of room doors slam shut. And I mean slam. You will hear it 24/7. That was annoying. The room doors do absolutely nothing to hide sound. May as well hang a curtain in the doorframe it’s the equivalent for sound deadening. That said, I’m not picky, I get that it’s not home and I will absolutely stay here again. Room 822

Overall very nice hotel. Beach super close, towels provided and chairs at the beach. The elevators take a very long time as staff use the same ones as guests. We had issues with our toilet clogging multiple times as well as a piece of the ceiling falling down in the bathroom. But hotel room was very clean and cleaning ladies did a good job. Food at hotel was good. Bikes provided for 2 hours a day. Overall good stay and would come back.

The room was very clean. The staff 10/10; very welcoming and kind. Anitra at the front desk was super sweet and super welcoming. She always had a smile on her face. The view of the ocean was absolutely beautiful. Definitely staying here again!

They don’t honor reservations. This hotel overbooks, meaning you likely won't get the room you paid for. We couldn't check in until 5:00 PM, and only after complaining. When we realized they put us in a cheaper room than our booking, I called the front desk, and the clerk actually hung up on me. Terrible start to our vacation.

We entered the lobby and were overwhelmed by a strange fishy stench. The check-in process was perfunctory. Once in our room, the music was so loud from the guest next door (over 100dB) we requested a room change. After multiple no's, we ended up in a downgraded room, but the clerk tried to convince us it was the same size. While the room was fairly clean, it was very uncomfortable. There was no closet. My kids never complain about hotels, but they both said this was the worst hotel we've stayed at and couldn't wait to leave. The bright spot was the bar. The bartender makes custom syrups for the specialty drinks and they were fantastic! Skip the hotel, but enjoy a drink at the bar.

Demand a complete refund as my wife and I were unable to sleep as \"motion-detector\" night light stayedon all night keeping the room lit. We called the front desk around 430 a.m. but no engineer or remedy was available. Also the room I purchased on Expedia had a balcony with a view and the room provided was not even close. So many hidden fees ($53 to park, $30 for arrival and a convenience for actuall tipping the valet, WOW! Will avoid this Marriott hotel at all costs.

From Check in to check out- one problem after another. First, room with blocked view ( regardless of booking ocean view room) the manager was able to make that switch . However after that Non working bathroom sliding door, TV wasn’t working - all our time on first night was for engineer to come and fix things who certainly wasn’t happy to fix things and rude
The housekeeping staff forgot to clean our room twice in a row - they just replaced towels and that’s it.
Dealt with Alex to book fishing trip and he Stood out with great customer service. Breakfast was worth it and the server was awesome. Location is convenient with easy access to beach.
The manager gave us some points to make us feel better at the checkout but surely wasn’t even near to compensate for all the inconvenience.

The experience was an overall good one. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The location, you honestly can’t ask for more. The room was clean, the maid staff was kind, quick, and thorough, and the bartender Robert was a highlight of my experience. Shout out the lavender martini. My only drawback is that I booked a king room and I was given two queens with no notification or explanation. I was too tired to complain, but that was very disappointing due to booking a large bed as a splurge for vacation. Otherwise, you won’t regret the stay. Enjoy!

We stayed 3 nights in room 922. Beautiful room oceanfront king. Very clean my only complaint there is somewhat of a closet area few hangers ans 2 small tiny drawers. No dresser in the room. If we stayed any longer most of our clothes would have stayed in our suitcase. Definitely need more space for clothes. Front desk staff excellent location wonderful! Had a great time will definitely be back!

Upon arriving at the AC Marriott Beach in Fort Lauderdale looking forward to spending a great time with my family. We were greeted with a very rude uninviting front desk agent doing our five day stay there were two other front desk agents that was very cold and rude for no reason I did speak to another agent about our stay. I was told that he would speak to the manager on staff. doing my stay. I did not get an apology me nor my family for how were was treated walking into the hotel so I would never stay at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach ever again

Hotel is great in theory. But rooms are tiny and they shoved a useless table and chairs in the corner, directly in front of the balcony entrance. Chairs on the balcony were stained and covered in mold. Bathroom shower had visible grime, and linens were tattered and stained. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

The rooms very clean and our view was great. The staff from front desk to housekeeping were very nice and knowledgeable about activities/dining.
