My second time at this hotel. It's right across the street from a public beach, so you can't beat that. It's close to the marina and shore scuba diving too. The hotel is showing its age, and it's noisy here. There was a homeless guy charging his phone in the hallway in front near by room upon arrival, but staff took care of that. There was a security guard in the parking lot to police parking. The parking spaces are small, but I was always able to get a spot. The Wifi and refrigerator worked good. The only ice machine is out by the pool. The room was clean.

Was not as it is pictured. Very run down, room ceiling were failing, TV would not connect to wifi. It is right next room the beach so that was a plus. Our fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Something kept clicking sounding like someone was trying to get into our room. Walls paper thing. Could hear tvs and people slamming doors. Uneasy feeling.

First of all...the photos are not accurate & are very misleading. At one time this hotel was beautiful, well maintained with a lot of character & charm (I researched it online). Sadly, the current owner(s) don't seem to care or want to invest money into making this historic hotel shine again. Upon arrival my beau and I hesitated to check-in, asking to look around first. We met another couple & asked if they were satisfied with their room and they said it was fine for their short stay while waiting to board a cruise ship. It was only one night for us, so we went ahead and told the very friendly greeter (Juan) that we would like to keep our reservation. Big mistake. The first room we were given had a sliding glass balcony door that wouldn't close all the way. We were given a different room (that was most likely cream of the crop 30 years ago), but not so much now. Glade Plug-Ins were used to attempt to mask the mildew smell, but the water stains & amateur drywall coverup gave it away. We wanted to spend as little time in the room as possible, so Jaun kindly loaned us some beach chairs & we sat on the sand for a bit. At check-in we were given a couple of Bogo drink cards to use at nearby restaurants & took advantage of the opportunity. Sun Sand Surf has a great Happy Hour, but the rooftop bar upstairs is pretentious & overpriced. Spent the night and woke up with bites. Google lens showed bedbug bites & our doctors confirmed it when we got home.Juan was great, but hotel was not.

I would not recommend staying at Sea Club Resort.

Unfortunately, our experience was terrible from the moment we checked in. The room was in desperate need of remodeling and did not appear to be properly maintained. The floors were dirty and sticky, as if they hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival. The bathroom had drainage issues, and the water coming from the faucets was yellow.

The most concerning part was that pieces of the popcorn ceiling actually fell onto the bed while we were sleeping. To make matters worse, the bathroom mirror fell off the wall during the night as well. These are serious safety concerns that should never happen in a hotel room.

We only stayed because we were unable to get a refund, otherwise we would have left immediately. The overall condition of the property was unacceptable, and I genuinely believe it should be inspected by the health department.

The one positive aspect of our stay was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. They did their best, and I appreciate their kindness.

However, due to the condition of the property, I would not stay here again even if it were free.

I want to start by acknowledging that the staff was kind and helpful—especially Tanya, who was very accommodating and assisted with changing our room after concerns were raised.
My mother was visiting from out of state, and I chose this hotel hoping to give her a relaxing stay at a nice beach location. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
Our initial room had visible mold and severely damaged sink caulking, making the sink unstable. We were moved to a second room, which was still in poor condition. It was dirty, with old food under the AC, heavy dust on the walls, stained and foul-smelling carpets, and ceiling debris falling onto the beds, food, and floor. The balcony door also did not lock.
The property itself was poorly maintained. The pool was cloudy and filled with debris, making it unusable. Broken glass on the stairway walkway caused my mother to cut her foot.
Additionally, something bit my mother repeatedly in the bed. What we initially thought were mosquito bites turned into blisters and welts.
I attempted to contact the property manager, Ronin, multiple times on Monday and Tuesday with no response. Our concerns were ignored.
Given the condition of the hotel and lack of management response, I am extremely dissatisfied and do not feel the stay was worth the price.

Unfortunately despite the great location this hotel was dirty disgusting and drab . The room looked like it hadn’t been actually cleaned in 10 years . Filth everywhere even on the walls and ceiling . Room smelled musty and the carpet was sticky . No microwave in the room . The terrace was empty with no seating . Would recommend just spending a little more money and going somewhere else !

Booked the room on Expedia under acknowledgement we could cancel 24 hours before check in with 100% refund. We booked the room for after returning from a cruise to the port of Miami. Our daughter got sick in the ship so we needed to get her home to see her doctor. Reached out to cancel 36 hours before check in. Hotel refused to refund our money! TERRIBLE customer service! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

Definitely outdated and the staff not keeping up with the property, really doesn’t hide the age of the building. The door paint was coming up and the bathroom looked like a dungeon. Weird security guard got upset about us trying to park without his help.. because we know how to park a car and do not need help. I waited around to turn in the room key and no one showed up.. it was 10am, people should be at the counter at that time. Not a very good hotel but the beach view is unbeatable.

It was okay. Carpets have a smell to them, and there was a roach on the first floor in the halls near the side entrance. No bugs found in the room. But this place definitely has a great location being across from the beach. It was okay for the 3 days, but will we stay here again? Absolutely not. First and last time. The pictures when booking the hotel were deceiving!!

The bar and restaurant were not open for business. The room was disgusting and not cleaned very well. The mattress was lumpy and the room smelled. We had to repeatedly ask for clean towels and it took two days to get them. The key cards kept being faulty and we had to replace them multiple times. We stayed on the fourth floor where we had to travel up to the second floor and walk back all the way through the hotel to a different elevator to then get to the fourth floor. There was also no microwave in the room and the fridge was not working very well!

We booked here because it was saving some money- but I would rather have spent a little more for a better experience if I had known what state the hotel was in.

The only benefits to booking a room at this hotel: the AC was good and the front desk staff were pleasant to talk to, but were not able to make our room and stay more pleasant. The beach is right across from the hotel; they provided chairs and towels most days!

In my own experience, my room was clean and neat , the staff is mixed, so you may have a nice genuine salute or just a cold formal interaction, the personal at the hotel didn't mention proactively about any amenities that the hotel offers, the customer need to ask the questions one by one if you need information ( My check in was on Friday May 18) .The hotel has parking lot which is one spot per room included (reasonable) The beach is just in front, a very nice experience in general . There is a balcony in the property facing the beach but unfortunately that area was closed .
Recommendations : they should paint the bathtubs in the bathroom, even they are in good working conditions ; still a proper ventilation in the bathroom is needed.

If I could give zero stars I would, the website reviews were completely bogus. there was no wifi, I had to connect to the hotspot on my phone just to watch tv. They lied and had no shuttle to the airport. And the room was dirty and infested with roaches and when I let them know the front desk got mad I mentioned it in front of another guest and tried to rush us out.

We liked this place. It was a bit faded, and the restaurant/bar was closed; however the location was fantastic. Right on the beach, walkable to the state park, around the corner from cute cafes and boutiques. Air conditioner worked great. Shower pressure great. The man at shop counter makes a good piña colada. We were on a budget, and this worked well. Staff were smiling and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool area was nice and relaxing and welcoming, and of course the location is unmatched. We were in town for the air show, and this hotel is a hidden gem for anyone wanting to be in the heat of the action at a reasonable price point. While the building itself is a little run down, overall it fit the bill for our trip! Was also very nice that they had beach chairs available for use, and free parking to boot!

Well, where do we begin, first, the lobby was dark and very moldy. The check in staff was very helpful. Once in our room, the light in the bedroom did not work. The bath tub was very fitly. Trying to use the outlet in the washroom did not work, so we had to unplug the fridge to use the outlet to style my hair. The sheets had stain on them, looks like they were not washed in weeks. So we removed them spread a towels on sleep on it. It was two in the morning so we had to choice. I truly believe Expedia should take a look at that this place before they decided to offer it on there platform. If this place was clean I could have over look all the other stuff it was missing like, no place to put your suitcase, no table or chair to sit, not even a sofa, no working light or outlet. Like I said it was two in the morning, so we had no choice. Please do not book this place, until it completes the repairs.

Front desk staff was nice. We picked this cause it said breakfast (we can’t afford much but had to be in Miami for school labs). They in fact do NOT have breakfast. The parking when you first get there is confusing. The parking in the back was nice. The hallways were small and finding the room was an interesting experience. The room was okay, keep in mind I’m a really clean person and hate germs. No kitchen plateware. I just needed a spoon and didn’t want to go to front desk for that. Kind of beach view. Bathroom was painted like the landlord special. The front area was pretty. Walking to the pool you see offices by the pool and it was weird, they should have blinds up.. And the offices were so messy. No attractive. I wish I can say I got what I paid for but it was almost $200 for one night… and that was on the cheaper end. Check out was easy. Easy walk to the beach. Didn’t have an ice bucket and didn’t want to go to the front for that as well. Overall it was an ok hotel to stay in. Did the job. Not worth the money but better than feeling unsafe in a different neighborhood or like the hotel/airbnb was going to fall apart.

Traveled with group. Found bed bugs, floor was sticky, hair on the bathroom floor, tub was filthy, bed linen stained, rust on the small fridge, urine on the bathroom floor and toilet seat, mildew smell, carpet not vacuumed, etc. Cleaning staff walked into our room after one knock. I get that the climate and beach proximity can be challenging, but management should prioritize guest comfort and take every measure to prevent infestations. Great place to stay on the beach and affordable! Super convenient location and walkable to restaurants and bars. I was disappointed that the restaurant and bar was not open when we stayed, however, the small convenience store was great to purchase affordable drinks and snacks. While the place is very dated & could use remodeling, for the price, you can't beat it and we would definitely stay here again!

The outside bar that is advertised is \"Under Maintenance\" and looks like its been that way for years. The ONE ice machine on property, gave out about 10 ice cubes an hour. The room had no deadbolt. Cracked toilet seat cover. The rooms are due for major renovation. Front desk staff was great. During 3 night stay, the only housekeeping done was emptying the waste bin.

I just want to say something fair. I wouldn’t leave a negative review for this hotel simply because I paid a low price, unlike some others might.

In my opinion, this hotel stands out because it is right on the beach, surrounded by many luxury resorts, making it extremely convenient—especially for those who enjoy swimming every day. It’s also in a perfect location to watch both the sunrise and sunset, which is truly a highlight.

I would still recommend it to others. Although the facilities are somewhat outdated and not very clean, you can easily make your stay more comfortable by bringing your own bedsheets, duvet cover, and towels. With that, it can still be a great and worthwhile choice.

tried to contact the hotel through Hotels.com that we wouldn't be arriving until the next morning from a cruise. Never received a response, finally got through on the phone. He said no problem so the morning we arrived had to wait 3/4 hr I suspect for them to clean the room and when finally checking in my reservation sheet had in big black felt pen letters \"No Show\" so they made no note of it, plus the room safe did not work and advised staff and it was never looked into, it was only $3/day but it was the principal and when asked them they said there would be no credit for that, to treat it like a resort fee. And the patio restaurant is no more which was one of the reasons we booked here.

The room itself was fantastic. I somehow got lucky enough to have the top floor with the ocean view (window) and a good side \"patio\" to enjoy it from (on the side but still great).
I was in a king suite. This has the \"kitchenette\". While this \"kitchen\" had a full wall of cabinets, there was nothing in them. Asked the front desk for any sort of cutlery, could've been plastic sporks for all I cared, and was just told \"no\".
The bathroom sink stopper was stuck down, so after my wife used the sink to wash up, it was full of water. We got in to the room pretty late, so I had to fix that myself.
Beach towels have to be signed out at the front desk, IF THEY'RE AVAILBLE. Which the first time we checked, they weren't. Second time we got lucky. I assure you that the unpleasant lady at the desk will be annoyed by your request either way.
The restaurant is apparently still \"under renovation\" so don't count on that as an option. I can say that 8 years ago I did get to eat and drink there and it was pretty great lol.
All in all, I will continue to use this place as my go to cheapest place to stay on Ft Lauderdale Beach when that is what I am looking for. However, you get what you pay for.

In the reviews we read they provide a transportation from the FLL airport but when we called from the airport to the hotel they said they don't have a shuttle.

It was fine for the price and being right across the street from the beach, but the whole place smelled funky and the bathroom was pretty gross. Also, took way too long to check in. Bit, it was $90 and right across the street from the beach.

Good lactation support. Terrible service; the rooms are in a dumpster-like state, the shower looks like something out of a horror movie, and it stinks everywhere you go.

This place was shady at best. The room wasnt even ready at check in (still cleaning when we got to the room) paint falling off the walls, patio door kept sticking. They then charged my wifes card 100 for incedentals and onky gave back 2.26. We never charged anything to thr room! Shady, unfriendly and not helpful.

The location was perfect across from beach and pool area was nice. Staff was accommodating. Lots of kids/ noise in evenings. Carpet & furniture dated. Couch had cigarette burn. King bed was drooping in middle. No housekeeping throughout stay.
