The location is very central and it seemed clean. However...

This hotel is the epitome of style over substance, with practical it yang comfort being the victims. It is desperate to be hip and stylish, but left me baffled. The rooms have nowhere to hang clothes, or even place things down. The signs make absolutely no sense at all eg 'do not disturb' turned into 'be right back' on both sides of the hanger. Who will be right back? What does that even mean?! No smoking became 'leave the cigarettes at home', bit late to do that once you're in there, and they don't have to be left at home, just not smoked in the hotel (I don't smoke so this didn't bother, just baffled, me). Everything is industrial style, all bare concrete and metal. The staff were all young hipsters for whom giving any sort of useful information was too banal.

The air conditioning was off, fair enough in December (although it was still functioning at the next hotel we stayed at in Vilnius) but somehow and from somewhere the room was being heated to such an extent it was impossible to sleep, even with the (tiny) window open, which also made the room very noisy.

I wouldn't stay again.

The Moxy is situated in a great location with easy walking to many restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself is clean and the room suitably sized although there are few amenities within the room. Downstairs they have their typical large divided work/leisure areas downstairs with good wifi access. The only real let down was the interation with the staff, service was consistently slow and requests often took multiple attempts to action.

Hotel is good but the parking wasn't so good, we cannot go out from parking because at reception They didn't add registation plates to the system.
Lady from reception said that gate not open because camera see back plates and she open manually but it was true because next car after us also going out backward and gate open normally.

The old town and river, turn left at the end of the pedestrian street. Had the most wonderful time! This hotel is situated in the most beautiful area of Lithuania, it has the most beautiful walk towards shops,cafes, chapel and is lit up every night making it a pleasure. The hotel is so quirky, every table is full of games to play, the staff are amazing and their english is very good making it easy to ask for anything. The rooms are beautiful very modern, there is no wardrobes to store your stores nor no tea/coffee facilities this is my only disappointment of the hotel. The hotel is spotless. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Sleepless in Kaunas

This is a party hotel with lively bar that never seems to stop. Loud music throughout the night and in the lifts . We were kept awake until 4am and 8am all night. Inexperienced staff in training often working with little supervision. If you don’t need or want to sleep this is the place for you. We cancelled a future Moxy booking after this experience.
Sadly aside from that the hotel location and vibe were excellent.

Nice place but the concept of the lack of the mini fridge in the room is not understandable. Unless it's a pressure to buy drinks even a cold water in the bar. If I should choose, probably, a mini fridge would be preferred instead of a big television in the room.

Arrived on Thursday after a long day of travelling to a massive party in the lobby/reception area. Was not even possible to communication with the staff re obtaining a further duvet as they were too busy serving people drinks. The music continued till about 2am making it impossible to sleep. I do not understand why people are not being made aware before booking. Would not recommend and would definitely not stay again.

This hotel was not for us, very young crowd which is not a problem, room very dark and cold, did mention this at reception but grumpy girl couldnt of cared less, bit disrespectful, we are in our 60's, bed was very hard and pillows were useless, on a good note, breakfast was better than expected, worse hotel we stayed in while in Lithuania

Cons-staff customer service was virtually non existent ( even allowing for language barrier), not friendly or helpful. No wardrobe or drawers in bedroom. Toilet did not flush well.

In its attempt to be cute and funky. The Moxy neglects basic amenities like dressers and closets. In essence, you are forced to live out of your suitcase. A wire rack and a couple hangers won’t cut it. What were the designers thinking? The bathrooms are too small and sinks lack adequate counter space. The table on one side of the bed is too small. Also, the airconditioning

Modern and uncomfortable

It is a very \"modern\" hotel, possibly very popular for the Baltic mentality, but I prefer the comfort of a wardrobe to hang my clothes, a table to work at in the room, a chair to sit comfortably. I didn't like it.

There was nothing wrong with the Moxy or its location, it was very clean and close to all of the monuments. But the service was less than ideal. Their internet was down my intire stay and I had no way of being able to work while staying in the hotel. The staff was not helpful and did not even provide me any sort of compensation for the inconvenience. Had I known their internet was going to be out of order I would have stayed at another hotel. Overall not happy with my time at the Moxy in Kaunas.

We were freezing!

We liked the hotel, it is quite central, with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel seems quite new. The only problem is with the temperature in the rooms. We were freezing for 5 days, since the thermostats were pre-set in all the rooms! This is a reason to avoid the hotel in the future!

The hotel is nice, but the temperature in the rooms is extremely low. They effectively blocked the thermostat. The staff is nice, but unprofessional, had issues with the invoices.
The rooms are in good condition and very clean. Breakfast is decent.
