Everything was fine. Confusion about booking and the receptionist kept saying I need to pay extra for breakfast even though I showed her on my booking I already paid for breakfast and it was included in my booking. Turns out it was their system wide error but this whole thing wasted about 20-25 mins while she checked with her manager and confirmed it was all included in the booking.

The hotel was top notch and the setting in the woods is gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay away from the hussle amd bussle of the city below but yet still convenient to everything. No air conditioning though it was hot.

Very nice Hotel, nice breakfast, but the pizza (Gamberi-Ruccola) for dinner...; was amazing amazing (the German Grauburgunder-wine as well). The employees were very friendly. Only issue was that we send them a request for e-bikes, that was never replied and when we got there, we were told to contact an external company, which proven to be difficult, so this should be corrected in the hotel description (important factor for all visiting Wilhelmshoehe Park and that was the main reason to chose this hotel).

Had a lovely stay here! There is a trail leading to the Hercules monument if you'd like a hike (but not horribly hard) right across the street. There are a few close dining options and the restaurant at the hotel was great (italian options). Breakfast was very good. The staff was super helpful as well and parking was right on the property. My only negative was that the bed was very hard. We haven't encountered one that hard in all of our stays in Europe. Also, just a suggestion, but some of our hotels these last few trips have had portable fans for those of us who are used to AC and don't sleep well when it's hot. However, a good stay and we would definitely choose this hotel again if we're in Kassel.

This new hotel has great rooms with a large and very well equipped bathroom (tub and shower). You get a separate bed room and a small sitting room with a desk. Breakfast is excellent with baked beans, beacon, eggs in many styles and rolls and deli meats and cheese. Surroundings are wonderful, the hotel is in the forest and located close to the UNESCO world heritage site of the Mountain Park from the early 1700s. Highly recommended!

Great hotel and great location. We liked being away from the heart of the city-the hotel is 10 minutes up the nearby mountain. There were hiking trails and it was only about a 5-10 minute drive up to Hercules on top of the mountain.
The room had a great view of the trees and was very peaceful. We only stayed for one night but I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location for Hercules. Great free parking right outside. We got there late and went for dinner at the Neu Holland restaurant just up the hill.....a very nice experience.

In town for Documenta, spent five nights here
The first thing folks should know about this hotel is that it's 3/4 mile past the last stop (Drusdal) on the 3 tram, and the bus to Alte Dursdal (the hotel's bus stop) is notoriously unreliable. There's supposed to be one every hour after 7 pm, but it never came (nor did it pass me as I was trudging up the hill). If you like hiking uphill at the end of a long day, this place is cozy enough and the price is right.
On the other hand, getting into Kassel is easy, if not quick, and iMountainpark made for a nice place to come back to. There is no food except for breakfast and no place to shop, so you have to get your meals in Kassel or someplace on the road.

My experience was fine, the hotel has everything I need for a weekend stay, very close from de Herkules monument and 10 minutes from the Konigsplatz.

Das Hotel und das Zimmer machten einen ordentlichen Eindruck. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Parkplätze sind kostenlos, was auch mittlerweile eine Seltenheit ist. Wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, ist die Lage zur Innenstadt auch gut. Man ist in 15 Minuten im Zentrum.
In der B-Note gibt es ein paar Abzüge: teilweise merkt man, dass die Inneneinrichtung wohl unter Zeitdruck entstanden ist. Am den selbstfertigten Nachttischen quillten teilweise noch die Klebereste raus, den Rahmen des Spiegels im Bad sollte man sich auch nicht zu genau anschauen.
Alle wichtigen Kriterien haben aber gepasst!

Einfaches Hotel, ok für eine oder wenige Nächte. Etwas außerhalb von Kassel in der Nähe des Bergparks gelegen. Kostenfreie Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Bett war ok, Doppelbett allerdings mit einer gemeinsamen Bettdecke - das muss man mögen! Frühstück war ok - nicht mehr - nicht weniger.

Als wir ankamen dachten wir \"oh je, was haben wir da gebucht\"... von außen sah das Hotel im Dunkeln nicht gerade einladend aus. Die Außenanlagen wirkten sehr vernachlässigt und könnten durch geringe gärtnerische Maßnahmen auf Vordermann gebracht werden.

Ein schönes, kleineres Hotel mit durchweg ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal. Es herrscht eine angenehme, ruhige Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück ist gut. An der Rezeption/Bar kann man abends gemütlich was trinken. Es waren ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Alles in allem kann ich dieses Hotel empfehlen. Zimmer sind sauber, die Mitarbeiter freundlich und das Frühstücksangebot sehr gut. Einziges Manko sind die fehlenden Infos zu den Ladesäulen für E-Autos: da auf dem hinteren parkplatz kein Mobilfunknetz verfügbar ist, lässt sich das Laden nicht starten, man muss es per W-LAN aus dem hotel machen.

Wir sind eigentlich immer gerne in dem Hotel und machen da imme reine Nacht halt. Die letzte Nacht war allerdings mal nicht so toll, wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten direkt über der Terrasse und dort war es abends dann doch sehr laut und im Flur war es auch sehr laut, was am schlafen gehindert hat. Sind wir sonst aus dem Hotel nicht gewohnt. Zimmer und Badezimmer wie immer sauber nur aus der Badewanne im Zimmer, kam Nachts auf dem Abfluss etwas Wasser, was einen aufschrecken ließ.
Frühstück war dann aber mal wieder sehr lecker, es war ausreichend Auswahl und der Service auch sehr gut.

Vi overnattede på Mountainpark Kassel på vej hjem fra Italien og fik desværre ikke helt udnyttet hotellets faciliteter, fordi vi ankom sent. Men det, vi nåede at opleve, var overordnet rigtig godt.
Vi gav cirka 1.050 kroner for en overnatning inklusiv morgenmad. Det er i den lidt høje ende, men til gengæld er der gratis parkering – og det trækker op. Indtjekning foregik via nøgleboks uden for hotellet, da personalet havde fri, og det fungerede nemt og gnidningsfrit. Alt virkede klart og tydeligt.
Værelset var flot, lyst og rent med badekar og en virkelig dejlig seng. Det hele fremstod bare lækkert – uden at det blev prangende. Vi betalte 15 euro for en babyseng, hvilket er lige i overkanten, men det fungerede fint.
Morgenmadsbuffeten var god med flere gode valgmuligheder og løbende opfyldning. Personalet, vi mødte, var søde og imødekommende.

Das Hotel war ziemlich ausgebucht, fast alle Parkplätze waren belegt. Wir hatten ein kleines, ruhiges Zimmer. Im Restaurant war diesmal die Wartezeit etwas länger, die Küche war etwas unterbesetzt. Sonst alles prima wie immer. Die Lage ist einfach toll, in zwei Minuten ist man mit dem Auto beim Herkules.

Das Personal ist sehr nett. Leider keine Flaschengetränke zu kaufen. Im Bad gibt es zu bemängeln, dass die Toilettenbürste mal ausgetauscht werden könnte und die Duschabtrennung unten mal gesäubert werden müßte. Ansonsten haben ich mich wohlgefühlt.

Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, weswegen es nachts etwas laut ist. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Leider ist die Rezeption nur bis 23.00 Uhr besetzt, so das man sich um Ruhestörung aus anderen Zimmern selber kümmern muss.

Die Klobürste hat schon einige Hundert Hotelgäste gesehen und hätte vor einigen Jahren bereits ausgetauscht werden müssen. Das Bett ist zu kurz - das ist merkwürdig, da es eigentlich Standardbettgrößen gibt. Wir haben uns alle über das zu kurze Bett gewundert. Frühstück mit sehr begrenzter Auswahl. Für den Preis hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet.
