Set in a dark dingy end of an industrial estate right beside a very busy fast road. Staff very pleasant and helpful but cant disguise the dirtiness of the hotel. Rubber tiles not carpet on the hotel lobby floor, grubby and drab. The room itself was a decent size but grubby. Stains on ceiling and the bathroom was mouldy, pee stained round bottom of toilet and had a rusty mirror. They advertised as having a restaurant too but its been long shut according to staff. All in all I've stayed in much better budget end hotels and wouldn't ever consider this chain again.

Staff are super helpful. Hotel is ok. However, I ordered an evening meal as I had a very long out and the hotel was outside the centre. I did get a short email in French telling me that there restaurant was closed Sundays two days before my stay. When I booked I paid in advance, but have been offered a refund for no meal.

No remote for tv but reception staff were exemplary and a credit to the hotel.
Shower was extremely small but i am a large guy so 50/50 faults. No kettle for morning coffee buy supplied cups and coffee?

First time - but not the last!

This was our first visit to this establishment, but we will be happy to return.
People are very important to us, and we were delighted with the friendly welcome by the gentleman on duty at Reception, when we arrived. His command of the English language was a real bonus!
The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. A large, and very comfortable, bed; a delightful en-suite with shower, basin, and toilet; and, to crown it all, a kettle, that enabled us to make the tea/coffee provided. There was no milk (which my wife always takes in her coffee), but the gentleman at Reception gladly provided her with some.
The breakfast was amazing, and the lady receptionist was also friendly. The variety of options was the best we have ever experienced in a \"budget\" hotel - and we have used a lot of them! Even the seating was of a higher quality than we have experienced in the past!
The overall star rating is due to the fact that the toilet cistern seemed to be filling up every 15-20 minutes. We had thought, at first, that the noise was coming from other rooms around about, and that it would stop when everyone had gone to bed! If we had realised that the noise was from within our own room, we would have reported it to the gentleman before he went off-duty!

A shock to be charged so much local tax. I did check and it was over Euros 3 but we were charged more than expected by Expedia.

The first room we were given had a broken toilet that flushed on it's own every couple of minutes and the door made a terrible scraping noise every time it was opened or closed. Not a problem we were given another room straight away.

Problem was that this room had poor wifi reception and there was very long black hair in the sink and shower. By then it was too late to move as there was no reception staff. I suggested free breakfast as compensation but was refused.

Disgusting, shouldn't be allowed and we should get a refund on our stay, it was disgusting. Morning reception said he'd pass on complaint and we would be emailed but nothing whatsoever.

This hotel is unmanned but open meaning that anyone can enter the premises. This meant that reception was being used as a smoking lobby. I telephoned the number on the door but the staff were unable to assist and the manager was neither present nor contactable. It is by far the worst hotel we have had the misfortune to book in recent years! It is nothing like the photos!

Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. One of the whitest nights in a hotel with no banging doors, talk from other guests on corridors or road noise. Nice hotel, clean and good value

We only stayed the one night but have no complaints at all. Staff were pleasant, the room was clean and had everything we needed. It's always nice to have tea and coffee making facilities. Slept really well. We had to make an early start so didn't take breakfast but I am sure it was good.

Good breakfast choices for variety of food. Clean rooms. Shower enclosure is very bijou (in estate agent speak)! Access to hotel, using address supplied and entered into our recently updated Garmin GPS took us 1 roundabout too far and brought us back to the correct roundabout?!? Then delivered us to the wrong location on an uninspiring but quiet industrial complex. Close to Charters centre by car, however!

Budget hotel, ok if not planning on resting much

We were booked into this hotel after spending our holiday in the South. We drove for 10 hours and arrived quite late. The room was tiny, could barely move around in it. The shower is tiny, my husband who is quite tall was really not comfortable at all. Awful night sleep.

Stop over in Chartres

The hotel was totally adequate as a stopover ts location was not great but it was quiet and only 30 min walk to Chartres Cathedral. The gentleman on reception was extremely welcoming and helpful, good value for money. Comfortable bed, good clean bathroom, excellent shower and pleasing to find a kettle and tea making facilities provided.

We stayed for three nights and could not fault the hotel or staff. The receptionist even went out of her way to find me a doctor when I had a small medical challenge. The breakfasts were more than adequate. Although the hotel is in an industrial area and right next to a busy roundabout we did not hear any noise from these.

Bad surprise: price for breakfast is not 7 € for adults and 3.50 for kids, as announced, but 7,5 for everyone, at least kids of 8yr already pay the full price. Makes a difference if you have 3. Booked this only the day before so we didn't have much choice of hotel. Was only for an overnight stay to break up the drive from the Lot to Calais at the end of our holiday. We had a triple room with 3 single beds. On arrival, only 2 of the beds were made up, the third had a maroon cover on it that had a dirty mark on it and was covered in dog fur. Receptionist said that they never make the third bed up, even when there are 3 people in the room?! She didn't see my all concerned by the dog fur. However, she did manage to find a clean duvet and sheet and brought it to our room for us. The room was tiny, we had to take it in turns to do anything. En suite hadn't been properly cleaned- there was lots of hair on the floor and in the shower. We also only had 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel provided between 3 people. We opted out of breakfast, glad we did as when we checked out he next morning all you could smell was burnt toast and you could barely see across the reception for smoke, very surprised the fire alarm hadn't gone off.
The hotel has a McDonalds, KFC and a number of other eating places within walking distance. The centre of Chartres is a 30 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car.
I would not use this hotel again. I don't mind small and old fashioned, but I do expect somewhere to be clean.
On the way down we booked further ahead and stayed at Hotel Kyriad, Chartres for the same price as it cost to stay here. That was luxury- big, air conditioned rooms and spotlessly clean.

We stopped over to break up an 8 hour drive at the end of our holiday.

Located on a business/industrial estate, so not the most attractive of surroundings.

The reception didn't open until 5pm, so do check when planning your ETA. We arrived at 445pm so wasn't a problem.

The reception area was welcoming and the lady on the desk was friendly and helpful.

It's a 5 minute drive to the centre of Chartres, which we found to be a lovely old town to have dinner.

The rooms are basic but clean, so no complaints at all.

The breakfast wasn't particularly good, very little choice, and over baked croissants. We wanted to get straight on the road, and have young children, so was convenient.

As a stopover option on a budget though, it is perfect, and very close in the car to Chartres centre.

Location not good if you need somewhere to eat. We only stayed one night, but a coach load arrived and filled the hotel and restaurant! After a long drive, we had to find an alternative. Hotel is noisy and needs updating, the en-suite is old and dirty! Wouldn't use this chain again, overpriced for what you get. Forget breakfast, not worth it!

Je suis habitué au hôtel low cost b&b 1er classe formule1 ibis budget... En terme de confort literie l'hôtel et top 1 des pire hôtel. ont a passé 2 nuit là bas a l'origine je n'est aucun problème de dos de base bah en 2 nuit je me retrouve avec un mal de dos le matelas et aussi dur qu'une planche de bois. Les couettes ne sont pas adaptés pour la taille du lit quand ont et deux bref je ne reviendrai pas dans cette hôtel et pas sur de réitérer une expérience dans ce groupe

Bouilloire, sticks de café et sucre dans la chambre et à l'accueil appréciables, bien que du décaféiné et du thé ou infusions auraient été un plus. Personnel aimable. Tous les fils des appliques étaient apparemment
Il faudrait mettre de la graisse sur toutes les poignées de portes
Clients silencieux mais toutes les portes grincent énormément

c est le manque de place dans l espace salle de bain notamment dans la douche.
