The entire apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel was clean, quiet, and centrally located—close to everything you need, including shops, restaurants, and liquor stores. The breakfast included with the reservation was delicious, fresh, and high quality; I’m still craving those chocolate croissants. The service was great and warm, and having a late check-out was amazing, as it allowed us to enjoy the beach without having to rush.
The only negative was that bath soap was not included in the bathrooms, and we realized this at the last minute. As a result, we had rush at night to go find a store to buy soap in order to shower. Other than that, everything was great.

There was trash in the room I used, and there was dog hair on the sofa in the living room. Since I'm allergic to dogs, it almost ruined my stay. And the staff... we only interacted with the reception and restaurant staff, who were very friendly; the others lacked empathy and didn't even bother to say hello.

I wanted to leave a genuine review. I initially was a bit skeptical prior to my booking however, my experience in this hotel was exceptional. For the price that it cost you absolutely get every pennies worth. Hotel rooms are modern and spacious. We had ocean view so we got to see the sun being through our room. There is plenty of dining options around and nightlife. I was quite surprised at so many tourist were walking the streets careless having a great time later at night. In my opinion that speaks volume of how safe the surrounding area is. The staff is very accommodating. I arrived a bit sooner and they did provide me with an early check-in. Also, I would recommend to asking in front desk for any activities that the hotel offers. I did that, and for a great price, my partner, and I enjoyed ATVs, horseback riding, a tour to some beaches, and the famous Limon waterfall, with lunch included. My partner and I are definitely going to be returning to the spot. It is now going to be my go to hotel when we arrive to Samana.

The shape of the hotel is very unique next to the beach. There are shops right under hotel and close too many restaurants and night clubs. The pools were very and perfect area to cool off and get sun. Staff was very nice and responsive when we had issue with tv and took care of it immediately. We really enjoyed the breakfast included with the stay and the croissants were amazing! The space was very big and roomy and the jacuzzi was nice to have although paint was chipping a bit you can tell they make efforts to fix things. Areas with possibility for growth are cleanliness in rooms, lack of hot water issue on one of our days, and professionalism of parking lot guard at night. We went during semana Santa and was very difficult to sleep because the night guard with help of his friend allowed many motorcycles to drive through parking lot and park in there in exchange for money. The view of sea was obstructed to by tents set up for four wheelers and motos and that’s was disappointing but all this good have been our fault since we didn’t pick perhaps best time to go. May consider staying again in future but definitely not around Easter time

We loved our time on the property itself and in the rooms (we tried two room styles and very much enjoyed them both). The traffic noise is loud for sure so I don’t recommend booking if you’re sensitive to noise or air pollution. But if you like to be right in the middle of a bustling area, this is a great oasis. Also, the staff is wonderful. One request we have is for the poolside bar to be open more often. Over the 3 days we were there, it was only open Saturday night and closed early. It would have been a very nice thing to get a beverage or snack during the day or at least all of the nights.

We booked 4 days during the Christmas week, 2024. We really enjoyed the apartment. We imagined \"living there\" it was so cute and comfortable and pretty. You are across the street from the beach. Restaurants and shops are not only downstairs but the property is also close to so much more! Unfortunately, it rained quite a bit so we didnt get a chance to use the pool however, we did tour the pool area and it is layed out nicely and appeared very clean. There are dedicated outdoor parking spots wIth security guards. The staff was friendly, kind and, helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Massive, well-appointed apartment in a bizarre hotel built to look like two ocean liners, that sits above a shopping plaza. Enormous bed. Masses of drawers and storage space. Good sized safe. Excellent fully fitted kitchen with giant fridge. Weak security on the Wi-Fi but the apartment has a high quality TV with streaming services. There is an outdoor bath on the balcony but there was never enough hot water to fill it. Two rooftop pools are the better option instead. The hotel is very close to busy main seafront road and noisy late night discotheque. We were in Boat B, apartment B212, facing out to sea. Soundproofing was not too bad but we were glad we didn’t have a room in Boat A because it probably would have been very noisy indeed and the disco bar pumps out house music until about 2am every night. Excellent inclusive breakfast is served in the downstairs Italian-run bakery in the shopping mall, which also serves great pizzas (it must be good as all the local expat Italians go there!!). 20 mins walk in either direction along the seafront takes you to either Playa Popy (no sunsets) or Playa Ballenas, where the Eden Bar/Restaurant offers the best sunloungers, good food and great sunsets. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again

There was hair in the hot tub. Rouches in the bathroom. The breakfast is included but the area gets crowded and no place to sit and have breakfast. Expedia advertises an apartment with two bedrooms, one king and two full size bed. When you I got there it was two twin size beds, very disappointing.

The property was disappointing, with poor service and no follow-up from the staff. Dirty water came from the faucet, leaving us unable to brush our teeth or shower. No clean bottled water was offered as a substitute. While the location was convenient, this does not make up for the unacceptable conditions. I would advise others to avoid this property.

The hotel was fantastic, super clean, centrally located, easy to walk to ballenas or punta popy beaches, great breakfast and food/service in the hotel’s Italian bakery/restaurant.
Nearby Etno bar plays loud bass/music between about 10 pm and 2-3 am (bring earplugs) and the street traffic is loud/chaotic (takes some getting used to). But we would still stay at hotel again, it was lovely.

Our stay in “Las Terrenas” was fabulous: the hotel is located in an area which is safe and could see the sea and palms from our balcony; the hotel facilities are really good, our room was massive, clean and with a nice decoration. We booked a room with a balcony and a jacuzzi that was quite old, we did not use it because it was not really attractive but the rest of the stay was fantastic. We do recommend it!
