We lucked out and received a bigger room than we had paid for. Well equipped apartment although the sofa's weren't very comfortable. Location is good ... across from the beach. The walk downtown takes about 20 minutes ... the road is narrow so you have to pay attention to the traffic as you walk. Pool was nice. Breakfasts were good. There is a ping pong table. Staff is friendly and helpful. Didn't use the spa. Nice big porch attached to the room but couldn't use it as much as we would have liked because of the mosquitos. Lots of friendly cats on the hotel grounds ... we adopted one for the week... a real sweet heart!

We loved this hotel! We had a balcony with a view of the beach, a small kitchen with cold and hot water, and a spacious and comfortable room. We also enjoyed the breakfast (which was included) and the pool.

The hotel Alisei was absolutely excellent all the way around. The staff when we arrived was very nice, professional and took us to our room and showed how everything worked. The room was spotless and everything worked well, the location is absolutely fantastic with the restaurant across the street on the beach being beautiful and delicious (we ate there once everyday it was so good!) the breakfast in the morning was expansive and very tasty and staff from the wait staff to the security guard were great. Would recommend to anyone to stay there. A nice short walk to restaurants as well but far enough down from town it was quiet.

Overall a nice stay, keycard for door stopped working and they quickly fixed it.. they dont have clean drinking water readily accessible.. except some water machine in the hotel room which has been inside it for god knows how long

As a frequent visitor to Las Terrenas, I've managed to enjoy many Airbnb, Townhomes and Hotels. I don't know how Hotel Alisei missed my radar but I have found a new home. My mid September 2025 stay was such a pleasant surprise. So often in some of these stays the water pressure and temps vary, the A/C falls short of spotty electric service. Hotel Alisei never disappointed. Even better.... is the Hotel Staff. The attached and affiliated resturaunt breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. When staying in Las Terrenas, I will be at Hotel Alisei and anytime I am asked for a stay recommendation from friends or family, recommending the same!

We truly appreciate the fine services received at Alisei. The beach and pool were great, the food selection at the restaurant was quite good. Above all the staff went out of their way to accommodate and serve. They even jump started our car at no charge, when we were about to leave. What could have been the worst moment of the trip turned out to be a very satisfactory experience. We'll surely be back.

The hotel was very beautiful. The top floor studio was outstanding for the price. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delightful. The hotel is located in Las Terrenas, a beautiful place with pristine beaches. The only draw back is noisy motor scooters running day and night.

Nescitan remodelar las habitaciones.

Lo bueno de este lugar: Es tranquilo, frente a la playa, suficientes parqueos y restaurantes cerca.

Lo malo: Hay muchos gatos y al parecer hacen sus necesidades por doquier por lo que hay malos olores. Las instalaciones son muy viejas todo esta igual que hace 15 años atras. :/

The stay is Ok; but I believe that the prices in all that area are exageratedly high, because the soroundings, most of all the roads, are not safe, and the charges are as high and even higher than in the USA and Europe, where rules are enforced and obeyed.

Amazing stay!

We spent 4 nights at 1 bd apt. Bed was very comfy with memory foam pillows. Super clean. I loved the balcony with partial view to the ocean. Buffet breakfast included with lots of options.
Overall the hotel is very well maintained, the pool area is sorrounded by beautiful gardens and ping pong table. Personnel is very atentive and lot of security.
They have a beach bar crossing the street.
A plus for us is that the property has kitties that are very friendly and willing to be pet!

Overall we loved our stay. The downside is the bedding duvet was uncomfortably scratchy and the apartment could use some updates. I don’t mind things being old but the kitchen counter was quite stained, the sofa/twin bed cushion had a cigarette burn and there were little things throughout that if updated would make the unit much nicer. Also, it was stated that there’s daily housekeeping but our second of three nights they only put a couple towels in the unit and did not take the dirty towels or make the beds or clean in any way. Other than that we found the property lovely and most of the staff great. It was a nice oasis and we’d be happy to stay again.

Hotel Alisei is quaint and charming. No frills but everything you need. Very clean property throughout. Cute pool, excellent spa and massage. Lovely beach right across the little street with a nice bar and food. The staff is attentive and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. Very good complimentary breakfast, too. Conveniently located to other points of interest.
Highly recommend Hotel Alisei if you’re in Las Terrenas.

Overall, very very satisfied.

The staff and the grounds and our condo were far above average. We felt that, compared to nearby hotels where we have stayed in past years, Alisei offered a better experience for the money. Our condo had some repairs that were needed but it didn't detract from our experience. We felt safe, happy, satisfied and well taken care of. Note that at the time of our visit the guests were mostly retirees or families with young children.

I travel to the country often and am very particular of where I stay. I stayed here for a group event which was off site and the host suggested we stay here. Parking was easy breakfast was great which was included, bar area and staff clean and fun and friendly, pool was inviting, room was great we got a 2 bedroom villa 2 bath kitchen outdoor terrace fantastic and so was the price.

Three nigth stay at Alisei Hotel.

The service was good, but the cleaness and bugs control not that good as expected. The fridge was not working, the quality of the sheets not so good. The bed was just ok.
We noticed mosquitoes always, and saw two small cockroachs. The space is ok but they need to improve.

The place is beautiful 🤩, but cleaning is not good and the problem is they have to much pets CATS 🐈‍⬛, Dogs 🐶 and smell terrible 😞.
I don’t recommend for that reason.

Excellent Hotel, across the street from the BEACH.

Staff was amazing. The 2 floor rooms DOES NOT have elevator, but the AMAZING STAFF , HELPED US with our luggage.
We rented 1 bedroom apt, and another 2 bedrooms apartment.
Both were great. Super Clean, Super confortable, A/C was great.
Included breakfast buffet was GREAT.
WE WILL RETURN FOR SURE.
