It's not your usual hotel as it's all number coded, self entry, self check-in, etc. There's no reception but some always answers the phone if you need to reach someone. The staff are really friendly and the hotel is very clean. There is somewhere to leave your luggage - you just have to call the number and someone will always help. It is also far from the old town, so expect a 40min walk.
The only downside is that the aircon doesn't cool unless it's been 25°c outside for 3 days in a row. If your from a colder clime country like me, you'll boil in a clammy 22°c room at night. I'd recommend the hotel reconsider their Aircon settings. Apart from that, I'd definitely stay again - but maybe in the autumn.

The hotel says they have sauna but there is no staff around so no way to use it.Same for coffee they say is available 24h but the machine only works in the mornings.
Otherwise is Ok

Horrible experience. We got a room for 1 day, the room's AC did not work, eventually the room got very hot and uncomfortable; we had to sit with the door open because the hallway was cooler than our room. When we let the staff know about the AC, they told us \"well, it isnt hot outside\", did not switch us rooms or even offer any compensation for the inconvenience. Every time you shower, the drain keeps flooding the entire bathroom, disgusting. Only four parking spots for the entire hotel, first come first serve, the rest have to pay street parking fees. The entire room had a single power outlet. The breakfast was the single good thing we experienced in the hotel. We're happy we only stayed for a single night. Can't recommend.

Comfortable, large room. Friendly staff. About halfway between the train station and the old town - either is about a 15 minute walk - although there's not a great deal on the doorstep, you have to walk for a bit to find bars or restaurants.

Best Front Desk Gal Ever

This hotel is on a busy street that is not so pretty. Once we stepped inside Andreea made us feel welcome. She helped us plan our trip with great detail.
The location was great as it was quiet and a very quick Uber ride to the old town.
The hotel is not fancy but super clean and comfortable. Try it!

Exactly what we needed

This is very nice hotel. Very clean and the room has all the amenities you want. There is free parking on site and the front desk is staffed 24 hours. It is a bit far from the ‘action’ of the Old Town but Uber is so cheap it’ll cost you $2 to get there.
Oh, have a mentioned Brasov is gorgeous?

I didn't use many of their features, if any. It is a nice enough place. The staff was terribly apologetic about vacuuming the carpets and making noise at 10 AM, but it didn't bother me. You expect hotel maintenance in the day. I didn't have the breakfast. It seemed pricey and I was enjoying not eating. When you have friends in Romania, not eating is a luxury.

Easy to find late at night, on broad avenue with Transylvanian funeral parlours - \"Velcome! Ve've been expecting you!\"

Hotel is clean, comfy, big room, helpful staff. Room lock and room safe weren't working, they came & fixed. Nice breakfast, overall value for money.

Delivers what it promises

A good value, clean hotel close to the railway station and within walking distance (maybe 2 km) of the centre of town. I didn't have the breakfast. Nothing stands out about is as being great but everything is functional and as described in the hotel description.

Hotel staff, location and cleanliness were good.

Room ok size for a night, shower could be bigger.

Thin, see through curtains meant we did not get a good nights sleep and were woken up by sunlight at 6am.

Not a lot of options at the breakfast buffet.

The receptionist was downright rude on my way in and out. I don't know if he was having a bad week but it's definitely not what I expect from a hotel. Do not go here if you're looking for good customer service.

No more than expected.

On arrival at about 10 pm, the receptionist, while polite, was less than forthcoming about what breakfast consisted of, gave us the price in euros, when RON would have made more sense and did not offer to help carry our heavy case up to our room (there is no lift).
The room and en-suite were clean, spacious and well-maintained, but the wi-fi signal wasn't strong and disappeared completely intermittently.
The neighbourhood is OK with residential side streets, but the main road itself isn't particularly salubrious, although it is only a 15-minute walk to the town centre and less to the railway station.
Breakfast was rather uninspired; the only hot food were sausages and scrambled eggs. There was no milk for the cereal However, the apple juice and cold meats were delicious.

The worst stay i ever had

The worst experience ever, as soon as I arrived at the hotel I was asked for money to pay the room,very, very expensive and very bad room, even if they said is the best room, i don't want to imagine how is the other rooms, is a room far too expensive for what it offers, free internet is missing, the room is in poor condition, visibly degraded peeled walls, carpet stained and dirty, old furniture and a bad smell mixed with smell of old furniture. sink and tub were clogged, the water flowed with great difficulty. It does not offer a tax receipt only after we insisted and the exchange rate euro / leu is much higher than official rate.

Worst hotel ever

I stayed in more than 25 hotels during 2015 and by far this was the worst. The attention at the front desk was terrible, our room was not ready until 2:30 instead of 11:30 a.m. as announced. The room was very dirty and smell a lot to cigarette (besides being announces as a non-smoking room). The hotel did not have any AC/DC converters for people coming from destinations different from the EU. Also, there was no space for luggage during the time we were not given a room, breakfast was awful and the neighbourhood is pretty ugly and not as near to the station as announced. We almost left the hotel but due to a 1 night stay in this town we decided to stay despite this terrible experience. Do not recommend it at all.

Hotel Brasov had good clean rooms and staff that were happy to help you with taxi bookings and directions to various sights of interest. Beware the hotel does not have a lift so if you have a problem with stairs request a room on one of the lower floors.
Breakfast was limited in choice, scrambled egg toast, salami, cheese and bread.
The Hotel is located a good way from the town allow 25 mins to walk to the centre, however taxis are good value at around 5L (£1) to the centre or to the railway station, always ask the hotel to call and make the booking as some taxi drivers were charging four or five times this rate, on one occasion we were quoted 100 L for a 5L trip.
Brasov has plenty to see with reasonably priced restaurants and museums, I would also recommend the 1 hour bus trip to see Bran, unfortunately the town has been turned into a Dracula theme park but the Saxon castle is well worth the trip.

É um hotel pequeno, que fica a cerca de 2km da praça principal, mas com a vantagem de ter estacionamento próprio e gratuito na parte de trás (5 vagas) e o shopping AFI Brasov está a uma curta caminhada. O sistema de entrada por aplicativo funciona muito bem e houve comunicação prévia explicando tudo em detalhes. O quatro tinha um bom espaço, estava renovado. O café da manhã era bom, mas senti falta de frutas. O espaço para o café é aconchegante e bom para o tamanho do hotel.

O ar condicionado do quarto não funcionava mantendo-o muito quente, além do cheiro horrível que emanava. O box estava com vazamento o que ocasionava uma inundação no banheiro. Localização não é tão boa, funcionários nada receptivos.

Hotel buoni servizi check-in online tramite app con la quale ti permette di accedere entrata hotel e stanza. Colazione buona ampia scelta orario 7/10 e week 8/10. Vicino a stazione in 15 minuti di cammino. Vicino a fermata bus. Personale cordiale. Non c’è reception ma si può comunicare tramite app o whatsapp. Camera spaziosa pulizia bagno comodo.
Suggerisco di pensare per colazione al week per chi deve andare via presto prima della colazione la possibilità di usufruire del servizio caffè ed eventuale snack, in quanto io ho scelto hotel per colazione inclusa. Comunque lo consiglio.
