The light and turning them all on is absolutely ridiculous. The people there for a conference as I walk through the spa was ridiculous. The gym and spa were convenient as is the location of the hotel. English is just not spoken enough in Romania. Or maybe its the smaller town of Brasov. Honestly the whole castle bran tourist visit is a total joke. I would not recommend Brasov as the Dracula legend is all made up!

Room was great and clean.
The only downside was the bed had a topper that was too soft, but we told the staff and they removed it and the matresses were just fine.

I loved it here, had a lifestyle suite which was brilliant. Everything was really really great, the staff so kind and attentive and the food wasbrilliiant too. The spa is excellent and had a brilliant spa evening. I can highly reommend. Its a bit of a trek from the old town but nothing a very well priced taxi cant fix.

Part of longer trip and this was a stopover. The hotel is convenient but also absolutely beautiful and clean with everything you would need and excellent food. The spa was super too. The service was possibly the best I’ve ever had with the friendliest staff. Brasov itself is lovely.

The hotel is built at the highest level of quality and comfort. Very nice design, nice colours. The stuff is very helpful, always willing to help, always smilly and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. The spa is amazing with unique jacuzzi, very nice dry and wet sauna and a salt space.
I had only a few things a liked less. The gym and the bowling had access to public, so it was not comfort to be there. The spa had an intense clorium smell from the swimming pool. The prices of the massage and the playstation area are relatively high

LOVED this hotel! stayed here with some friends for my birthday. The restaurant was always a bit dead, the food was good but no real ambiance but the room was perfect, clean, spacious and had everything you need. we used the pool, sauna, gym etc, really liked having these amenities but shame you have to pay 12 euro a day to use them on top of the room charges so just be aware of that.

Apparently u only get one large water bottle the first day of your stay. There is a convenient gas station store next door for extra things. I would stay here again. Parking was on property and convenient. Hotel very safe.

Great hotel in Brasov, large rooms, mattresses are too soft, though. Wonderful breakfast. Very helpful staff, ready to help you out for every wish. Bowling, pool, gym, spa, restaurant, parking and even a dentist in the hotel. Amazing modern hotel. Very recommended.

Brasov trip

The staff are what this hotel is all about. The reception welcome from Oana and Anca and the waiters and breakfast staff and even the drivers and porters. The food in the restaurant is sensational and the health facilities exceptional. As an example one of their drivers took the day to drive me around seeing the castles and one of the porters helped me with the large baggage I had to the train station. This is probably the best hotel in Brasov.

Hotel is very nice but too upscale for middle class travelers such as myself. Got snotty looks by other guests and security person working in the front lobby. Air conditioning didn't work but luckily it wasn't too hot outside. Front desk agents seem friendly though. Hotel would be priced over $350 the United States but is priced like a nice Holiday Inn.

Very soft mattress,I pointed out, in similar situations in other hotels the answer was invariable \" sorry we don't have anything else\".

Great and beautiful property. Nice, polite and helpful staff. Just a suggestion: please begin to offer a complimentary bottle of water for the guests. What is the reason to offer free coffee and tea in the room when you don’t offer a bottle of water? Should the guests use the water from the bathroom sink or pay for the expensive water from the mini bar? That’s not welcoming. Breakfast was good and location was great for someone like me who enjoys walking. The hotel is located 30-35 min. walking from the main square in Brasov.

Absolutely great hotel in Brasov

Absolutely great hotel! Everything is quality here, been all over the world but didn't met such quality furniture, appliances, everything is premium quality! Had an executive room, with EMCO appliances in the bathroom, SAMSUNG smart TV, huge bed with damask cotton lining, soft thick quality carpet. Parking is free. Unfortunately wr didn't had time for SPA & pool. Restaurant is not cheap, but it is a premium restaurant, like the entire hotel. Highly recommend!

Nice modern hotel in Brasov

The Kronwell Brasov Hotel roome are spacious, clean with all amenities and very comfortable beds..
It is a short walk to the train station. The front desk staff is wonderful. They were able to get a private tour at the last minute when our Viator tour guide didn't show up.
The air conditioning wasn't functioning properly, but after several visits by the staff we finally got the room temp. down to 22 degrees C.

The hotel was brilliant, it’s equipped with the latest technology and amenities. It’s perfect for business people and for families since they have a really nice indoor soft play for the kids.
The location might not be perfect for views but you can be anywhere in Braşov in 5 minutes including the brand new Mall.
The breakfast was good but if you’re planning to have cocktails go to a bar in the centre of Braşov because the bartender has no clue how to make one.
If you want to have food they do have options but taste wise it depends your taste.
I would definitely visit again but not for drinks and food.

I love the staff in this hotel — very friendly, always a smile, and very accommodating. I loved the in-house Spa ( 8 Euro for hotel guests — well worth the price)
The Hotel is very new and modern. It is located steps away from the Brasov Train station. The Brasov city center is not in walking distance— it is a 10lei (Uber) away.
I will def stay here again.

Quality and good service

Quality and good service are the most remarkable impressions. Everything had an amazing design, pleasant environment and friendly staff. The hotel bistro is kind of limited as menu and costly for the quantity served. It should be definitely categories a gourmet one not a place where to have a good dinner after a tiring travel. Everything else was without any flaws.

Very disappointing

Rooms are nice and staff also. That’s pretty much it.
Parking is not free and very expensive.
Swimming pool and fitness not free, 8€ per person per day.
No water bottles in the room (staff is asking to drink tap water...)
Tv shutting on / off randomly. I had to unplug the cable to turn it off.
Wifi worked 1 hour, then no more the whole night.
For the price we paid, all of these above should be free and working perfectly.

Nice hotel with very spacious room. The hotel is next to the bus terminus for the airport.
Buffet breakfast was very good with ample of choices.
Only complaint is the floor lamp by the window in the room, which is too low (my head kept hitting the lamp shade everyone I went to the window) and too dim to read

Perhaps the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in - around the world; affordable but very luxurious. From the front desk to the spa staff to the staff caring for the rooms, the hotel staff were SO kind, and very eager to make recommendations and help in any way they could. The pool and spa, with many saunas and showers, was well worth the daily cost, and a great deal for the beauty and quality of the space. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to come back! Multumesc, Kronwell Brasov!

Great location for the train station and very modern, well-designed hotel. Spa facilities are gorgeous- BUT beware there is an additional charge to use the pool which is not stated on Expedia. Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff were pleasant and the room was beautiful.

This is a very modern hotel with large, well designed rooms and great staff. The rooms are well equipped with huge beds but with a slightly disconcerting shower set in the middle of the room. Great for exhibitionists.
Couple of niggles - they provide a huge kettle but only one herbal tea tea bag. There are plenty of free tea bags and coffee at the breakfast, so seems a little odd. Also the \"do not disturb\" sign is electric so when you leave the room it turns itself off unless you have two key cards. i am sure we all leave it on when we go to breakfast so the cleaners do not enter the room in the meantime.
It is next to the station but a good walk from the old town. Taxis are very cheap, however - about £2 to the old town.
There is no decent restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat in town, so not a big issue.
Overall pretty decent.

Very nice

The shower is weird in that the angle is incorrect and it does not drain well... but it is not that big of a deal. It is a very nice hotel, very comfortable bed, really good breakfast. The wifi was not great... but as I was not on a business trip it was fine. It is about a 50 minute walk to the old center, or a very short 5 - 10 minute Uber or cab ride.The hotel is basically at the train station. I will stay again.

Overpriced new hotel, gym has extra surcharge

Came with my wife for a honeymoon, chose this hotel despite it being highly overpriced. (Costs nightly pretty much the equivalent of a local weekly salary). Chose it mainly due to it being listed to have a fitness/gym facility, as it's nice to get a good workout in on longer holidays. However, upon check-in we're informed there's a €8 charge per person to use the gym.. I feel like it should probably not be included in the filters if you've filtering for a hotel with a gym, if it has an additional charge. This was not clear upon booking. Also no free water in the room, no coffee. Kind of subpar for a 4-5* hotel. Other than these complaints it was in good condition, nice room and service was good.

5 star hotel for a bargain price

The hotel has wonderful amenities and innovative interior (toilet paper and waste basket built into a wall unit). Parking and b fast are free with all you can drink proseco. Food is simply wonderful for about the same price I would pay for a Motel 66 back in the States. They also offered massages at a great price but it wasn't offered in the hotel but rather across the parking lot at a mall.

Great spot

This is the best quality/service hotel you could find in Ro. Always a treat being here.
A little taken off by the fact that some of the amenities in the SPA were not working. Regardless, this is out No1 option when in Brasov. Second to none.

Excellent hotel for comfort, service and location

We stayed four nights and liked the easy highway access for exploring the Transylvania region. Getting into old town Brasov was only $2.50 for a taxi so we left our car at the hotel to go there. (Parking in the old town is a challenge.) The restaurant was great and so was the breakfast buffet. Very high quality with tons of options. Great beds and the rooms are modern. Front desk personnel were very helpful and accommodating. Appreciated access to a big health club. also the massages were very good. Overall an excellent choice for Brasov.

The hotel is very new, The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. I loved the swimming pool and the outside terrace for drinks was great. I had dinner in the room one evening and the food was excellent, I was really pleased to see that the provided complimentary tea making facilities in the room, but the only disappointment was that the cup used for the tea and the tea bag were not replaced despite asking for new tea bags. However, overall I liked the hotel and will go back.

waste of money

Not worth the money for sure!!!

Half the time the keys don't work electric cards that is. You need it for the elevator as well. Pay a lot for not much really. Would never waste the money to go there again for sure. Snooty hotel not worth the money and the keys were the worst part. If you want anything just go to the store across the street they have food for a fraction of what they charge. My opinion this hotel sucked and I am glad to be back in Sibiu.
