Spacious apartment - loved having a separate living space and bedroom so that when one of us was up earlier or later than the other, we could move around without waking them up. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy. The location is great - loved having the town escalators right next to us for easy access to the top of the hill. San Domenica was a short walk up the stairs and it was easy to catch the bus there to the train station (not the easiest walk with luggage but still very do-able!).

Ciao!!! The room eas very clean and beautifully decorated. The property is very well located near to the electronic escalators to go into the historic center and depending on the room provides great views of iconic buildings. Very convenient service of complete breakfast to the room. Simona, the owner, was very kind, accesible (always in contact making sure everything was great w our stay), and as a local very understandable of Siena's particularities helping w directions & transit permit.

Location, service and room are great. There’s no blackout curtains though so be sure to pack your eye mask! And, it faces a square that happened to be hosting a very festive party one of the nights we stayed - so earplugs would have been good. The second night was nice and quiet so overall would recommend

Our stay was great, included breakfast, able to walk up, yes, lots of uphill to the Cathedral. The Campo was a bit further past the Cathedral, easy downhill walk. The host greeted us as planned, our checkin was smooth. Check out was also easy.I had trouble getting a taxi back to the train station, a communication problem. The walk was not too bad, there are escalators and moving walkways.

Was absolutely lovely in everyway, however if the owners raise awareness that a celebration will be going on in the square infront of the hotel until 2.00am believe them it will be VERY loud ( and later than 2.00am) and not something you can joiin in so sadly I advise to take their offer of free cancellation. Was a great place, great staff, so helpful and friendly , clean and beautifully decorated with a nice breakfast in your room. Normally this is in a very quiet convenient area with an escalator nearby right up into town. So we would definitely return and recommend this hotel when visiting Siena.

A wonderful space to stay !!! Very close to the escalators! The staff is warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We had a small issue with our air conditioner and it was addressed within an hour. One item to note, across the street is an event venue that in our case had two nights of celebrations with music into the early morning hours. The sounds easily penetrate the walls.

Great access to Siena via the escalator. Wonderful view from our room (the Brunello room) from the balcony. Nice clean room with the necessary basic Air bnb type amenities. The shower was a pain in that it had no door or curtain and leaked on the floor. Sofa bed wasn't comfortable, but I was able to pad it with the extra blankets.

Convenient location out of the fray of old town but only a few minutes from everything thanks to being at the base of the escalators (lots of them! As this is a very hilly city). Communication was great, service was attentive. They seem to be aware of their water pooling issue with the shower. Nights were loud til 11:30-12, but were late nighters. After midnight all was perfectly quiet.

Not a premium choice in Siena

Just a list of what's undesirable:
1) Use the shower, deal with a flooded bathroom
2) Blacked out windows and door (for privacy but like a prison)
3) Want a quiet room? Drumming lessons in courtyard (nice but not for 1.5 hours) and no insulation between floors so lots of noise from 2nd floor
4) No blanket and upon request, they bring a down comforter suitable for dead of winter
5) Stark and prison-like inside - no rug or anything cozy

Great stay, spacious apartment.

Nice, spacious, comfortable and great location. We stayed four nights in the Chianti Apartment. It was a great stay. We appreciated the spaciousness of the apartment, and very comfortable sleeping. It is also conveniently located a short (very short) walk to the escalator that takes you up the hill to the center of this beautiful historic city (a plus given the heat that hit Italy while we were there). The staff was also very responsive, which we appreciated. Would recommend this for anyone staying in Siena.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was perfectly clean and well appointed. The location was fabulous, across from the fountain and at the base of the escalators taking you up the hill to the cathedral. Finding the hotel is difficult. Make sure you come in from below or you will find yourself driving down tiny alleys like I did. There is no sign outside but the the hotel is directly across from the three arched grotto containing the spring/fountain. Our hostess was so kind and met us outside and helped us in with our luggage. There is parking behind the hotel but it is hard to find from the street. Highly recommend.

Very disappointing. Not luxury. We met someone to give us the key but we seemed rushed as she just wanted us to pay. The radiator and air con wasn’t working. No outside space. Property in a car park. Goid parking though. Bad instructions to find the property.

El apartamento es bastante grande y cómoco. La cocina súper bien equipada e incluso teníamos una máquina para hacer espresso y unas galletitas.
Todo sumamente limpio y nos arreglaron la habitación y cambiaron toallas.
El parqueo queda a la vuelta y hasta teníamos gradas eléctricas a la vuelta del apartamento para llegar fácilmente a la parte más alta de la ciudad.

Overage great experience Breakfast, location and privacy. However on the negative side the checking process and parking which were long, complicated and stressful. Nobody there at checkin to great us after 8pm and impossible to get cell phone signal in area to communicate with the hotel. Waited one hour before having to walk a distance to get cell phone service and getting in contact with property management to access hotel WIFI. Parking, unloading and ZTL zone management was very stressful and complicated. Once over ordeal of checkin the rest was very good.

We chose this apartment specifically for its location and the advertised availability of parking. To our dismay, we discovered upon arrival that parking costs 15 euros. The staff insisted on payment in cash. When we explained that we couldn't withdraw cash, they imposed an additional 10 euro fee for using a credit card. Given our urgent need to leave, we were compelled to pay this outrageous total of 25 euros per one night stay. Additionally, there was no noise isolation, and even the slightest noise from other rooms could be heard as if it were in our own room.

Lovely spacious room and great location. A couple of improvements could be made for comfort though. Curtains were too sheer to block out morning light thus precluding sleeping in. Adding a laundry service or providing more information would be great. We used google maps that directed us to a coin laundry quite far away but later noticed a closer laundromat.

Excellent location just a short (uphill) walk to the center of town and the Duomo area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting with our late check-in and helping us find taxis both to and from the train station. We had no issues with communication, and the staff even went out of the way to provide gluten free breakfast options.

Our only complaints – there was a big city celebration happening the 3 nights we were there, directly across the street from the B&B, so every night there was loud music and festivities til around midnight, sometimes later. Having a 4-year old with us, this made it difficult to sleep for all.

I also think that the place could use a thorough deep-cleaning, particularly in the bathroom.

Otherwise, we were happy to stay here and would visit again. Thank you!

The room was very nice.
This place was horrible at giving correct info to us about how to arrive.
The streets were blocked and the GPS brought us through town no cars allowed!! They had a massive festive that night with thousands. They boomed below our window two nights. It took us two hours circling to find parking then only met the housekeeper who spoke little English.
We read another couple gave up and left asking for money back.

The property was large, clean, comfortable and private. A bit of a distance from the centre of historic Siena bur not far, a pleasant walk day & night. A bonus, it's right next to the escalators that bring you up to the historic part of town which would otherwise be steep climb on many cobbled streets. Only complaint about this accommodation is lack of breakfast offerings at the advertised BnB, such as some jams, butter, crackers, sugar for the tea/coffee. Completely empty fridge & pantry except for a few cookies. Also we wonder about security. An item was taken from our room in the afternoon after the maid came in so not by the maid during her shift. Management refused to believe us but we are sure.

Bad experience.

We couldn't even find the hotel from the street, because we had to get out of the car, take 5 escalators into the building, and then walk back down about 100 meters. We left all our luggage in the car. Some people's had an event with 1200 people in front of the hotel until 2am, and it was bright outside all night, so we couldn't sleep. Our trip was ruined. We are not satisfied and we left 7: 30 am . So we want money back.

A hidden gem, great location and even the up hill walk to the city centre can be avoided with an escalator. Having to plan a time for breakfast the only slight drawback but otherwise a perfect b and b. Would highly recommend.

The property staff and rooms are very nice and accommodating. The location and proximity to the escalator that takes you up to city center was be convenient and a welcome reprive to all the hills in Siena. My only complaint, which is not the owners fault at all was the 2 nights we were there......Fri and Sat. there were private outdoor events directly in front of our bed and breakfast building-with concerts going VERY late into the night. Almost 1:30 AM on Sat night. Even though the rooms have updated windows, the loud music was at a very loud level, and kept us awake.
I would imagine this might be only in the weekend, and otherwise would definately recommend Siena VIP.

What a great location, and friendly and helpful staff. The room was in excellent condition. Our only complain t was that we did not receive the pass for the private parking, which we were told would be available, until late on our second day in town, which meant we had to pay the full price of parking for the first two days. We loved this place. Elena was welcoming and responsive, especially with instructions on driving and parking. Having parking was really great. The location was wonderful - right at the bottom of (6!) escalators into the city center. So it was easily walkable. We (two parents, two teenagers) had the two bedroom apartment without breakfast, and it was worth the one drawback, which is that the bedrooms do not have solid doors. We’d recommend this to anyone!

ATTENTION! Please do not book this property! You cannot check in if you arrive after 11PM! Owner asked me to call expedia for a refund, when expedia called the owner she refused the refund! Tried to txt her directly and she never responded! We were left with no hotel in the middle of Siena! If you have flights, trains or any delays and arrive after 11PM the owner will not let you in! Reasonable choice within walking distance of duomo

Our room at Siena Vip was large and light-filled with a great view across the street of the Fontebranda and San Domenico cathedral. The room definitely met our needs, though it could have been better designed - e.g. the furniture was uncomfortably low and the only mirror in the room was placed in an awkward corner that made it virtually unusable. Breakfast is delivered to your room at your pre-chosen time each morning, which is lovely though it denies you the opportunity to get up and start your day spontaneously, which is how I prefer to travel. The location is great - close to the center of Siena but far enough away to be out of the tourist scrum. It IS a steep uphill trek to get to the duomo, but there is also a very helpful series of escalators that get you most of the way there - especially helpful on rainy days. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Siena Vip, but it could easily be made better with just some minor alterations.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the shower was lovely and hot! The area is fairly quiet for being in the city, and close to an escalator that can take you right up to the Duomo. We were able to rent a parking space for a few days while we stayed at a reasonable rate, and the city is completely walkable, although VERY hilly (as one would expect from a hilltop city)! They even offered a nice list of places as dinner options and helped us find a local laundry service since it was the middle part of a long vacation. Staff was very helpful and the included breakfast was as large or small as you request, delivered to your room. I would absolutely stay again.
