The place stunk of bo and I couldn’t air it out. Just a really old apartment not even remotely close to the Meriton across the road for basically the same price. The windows are paper thin and it’s so close to the road u just get woken up constantly. Would never stay here again.

This view is worth a Million.

We booked this apartment because we were doing some cruises with Seaworld cruises. The view from the living area, and bedroom is stunning. There is just a street and then the beach.
The king size bed was very comfortable. The view from the bed is stunning and you can hear the ocean all night.
It's very close to a lot of restaurants and food delivery is easily organised.
I am older and the couch was quite low and I simply couldn't get out of it unless I bolstered it with cushions.
The kitchen was well supplied, although we didn't cook there, we were on holidays.
The lift made staying higher in the building quite agreeable. We could leave the blind open over night and each time I awoke I'd be lulled back to sleep watching the waves roll in.
The kitchen is dated but works fine.
All in all this was a lovely apartment that made our stay enjoyable.

Excellent location but property a little dated and in need of modernisation in some areas. Our room had new kitchen and floor tiles appeared to be new although extremely slippy when wet. The sliding door onto balcony let in water when it rained. No air con in bedroom.

Beachfront!

Situated across from the beach, balcony, living room and bedrooms all had beach views! Great location only a short stroll to Cavill ave. Apartment was stylishly decorated and very clean. Kitchen had all utensils needed and more... you could even bake a cake! Was nice to be footsteps away to golden sands and the beach. My only advice would be if you are like me and need a good pillow to sleep, then bring your own as pillows provided were extremely soft and an inch thick.

Good: good location great views reasonable price. everything nearby. Nice staff.

Bad: Bathroom is tiny and has nowhere to hang towels Place could have been cleaner and is quite aged. Kitchen bin was tiny also.

TV had loads of wifi connectivity issues and trouble using screen cast.

Pool area was fine, pool has a very weird steep angle that runs across the pool. No spa/sauna.

Overall would give the place a C

Five star every day of the week

Stayed at Olympus a few times and always pleasant, convenient and on point. Nothing beats waking up to the sound of the waves and the sun poking its head up at sunrise over the horizon.

This property is nothing like the advert. It has not been maintained and still remains in the 70s. Nothing like i booked. Location was fantastic and Manager was helpful when i complained. curtains didnt fit over the windows, some in the lounge just not even hung correctly. Bathroom filter disgusting , stains on the beds, dirty quilt cover. I would not return and it is false advertising

This place is in a brilliant location: across the road from the beach and a couple of blocks north from Cavill Ave and central Surfers. It was clean and good value. It is a bit dated but the kitchen and apartment had everything I needed.
My only complaint would be that the shower never got hot, and sometimes was only just warm.

We booked a 1 bedroom ocean view apartment for elderly parents. The check in process was easy and the staff assisted us with access to parking.
The view in the room was phenomenal (level 5).

The parents enjoyed having cups of coffee and lunch on the balcony enjoying the panoramic view of the beach directly across the street and listening to the crashing waves.

As elderly guests, the only thing that was a challenge for them was the steps at the front of the building (approx 12-15) which was a little much for them, although there is a banister in the middle. We weren't aware of this when we booked. It wouldn't be an issue for most people though.

Great location, near all the surfers shops and right across the road from the beach. Parking was included, although some of te spots are a little narrow. The room had a balcony overlooking the beach, basically a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen and laundry (shower only, no bath). The condition is a little tired, but no problems. It is self contained, not serviced, so if you want your bed made and clean towels everyday, might not be for you. If you prefer to not have cleaners in your room every day, and the ability to cook your own food, then it is a decent place.

The view was amazing!!! The apartment is very comfortable and the furniture is good. Bathroom and kitchen need to be upgraded. The kitchen tap is broken and the handwash doesn't drain. We have to fix it but it needs a proper plumber The shower needs a deep cleaning, it was very dirty and the shower door was greasy and horribly dirty.

The location of this property is so great, right across the road from the beach, with great views, and a very short walk to restaurants and shops. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit dated but perfectly functional. Shower pressure was great. The apartment has air conditioning, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We did not cook there but it has an oven. Good to have a washing machine and dryer too. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing view from the apartments! A front row seat to the esplanade
Friends we travelled with stayed on a lower level and their apartment had been updated but with everything you need close by, think we just found our new No.1 spot to stay on the Gold Coast;-)

Our room flooded due to the floor waste in the bathroom being blocked.
The entire apartment flooded within 10 mins of the shower running.
After informing the the reception it took hours before a plumber / maintenance person arrived.
We were told it was fixed but continued to flood everytime someone hadca shower.
Carpets we're soaked and nothing was done to dry or clean them during our one week stay.
We were told there was no other room options and by the end of our stay the room stunk of damp carpets .
Terrible customer service and the hotel manager is arrogant, rude and un helpful....will never go back

Hotel was in a great spot with free parking and nice view.

However, the apartment was dated and in bad condition. During our stay i noticed rust on the fans and one fan didn’t even work. The floor grout had turned black and looked like it had never been cleaned. There was a burn in the kitchen table and one of the cupboard doors were broken.

The apartment was also unclean. I noticed many short, black hairs around - my hair is blonde. I found a few bugs coming out of a drain as well as the bed base cover having quite large, evident stains on it.

One event that topped it all off was when i began using the 1960s stove that looked like it has never been cleaned or serviced. When i had turned it n it started smoking so i turned on the exhaust fan. It stove element then shot up a spark which flipped the fuse switch. This was highly dangerous as it could have hit me in the head.

I talked to the man in the reception about all these issues and he mentioned he would call the owner and get back to me which never happened.

Not recommend this property to anyone. I am unsatisfied with the apartment. There was no amenities in the bathroom, kitchen was so unhygienic and fridge, microwave and oven wasn’t in working condition. Bedsheet and blanket in the bedroom wasn’t clean. Dusty things in the apartment such as table, table lamp and fan.
No apartment service, Staff was very rude, unfriendly behaviour. We booked a one bedroom apartment and have a terrible experience with this apartment.

Great views

The view from the third floor was spectacular. There was ocean views from most rooms. The place however was old and run down. Much of the equipment was not properly functioning but you tend to overlook much of that because of the views.

This is the most disgustingly filthy accomodation alive ever seen in Australia. I have photos I couldn’t sit down in my room it was so filthy. I went to Hamish & respectability said ai could not stay in such filthy as I would get sick he said would refund my move twice & none has come. I’ve posted the filthy to social media. I loved the location so close to everything you don't need to use your car
The view of the beach is great there are no building in front of this place just the ocean

The thing I didn't like was the shower the shower hot water only lasts for a minute then the shower is cold
The blankets needed a wash they were a bit smelly

Location can't be beat, right across the beach is fabulous. It is only a few minutes walk from Cavill Ave and restaurants. Ocean breeze makes it a cool and relaxing place to be.

Location and view were perfect. The apartment was old and in desperate need of a bathroom and kitchen renovation. The floors looked clean but I had to wear shoes all the time to stop my feet turning black. The kitchen was missing some basics, i.e. dish cloth to wipe benches, pot mitt to remove hot tray from the oven, lids for the two pots. The furniture was modern and comfortable.

The shower pipe needed cĺeaning out as water wasn't flowing it was overflowing onto floor. Sink water was also blocked. Kitchen sink plug needed changing water kept disappearing while washing up. Fan in bedroom was way too fast on the low setting.

I loved to the location and the views over the beach. Everything worked ok, loved the foxtel.
Room was a bit dated, but given the inexpensive price compared to other hotels/apartment complexes I certainly wouldn't complain about that.
The manager is excellent, couldn't do enough for his customers.
