Lovely stay here for three nights, and would return and recommend to family and friends. Made very welcome. Very clean hotel. Room was lovely and overlooking garden and sea view. Shower in bath that could do with a foot grip as quite slippy once water was under foot, as nearly fell getting out.

Pleased that kettle, beverages and biscuits were in the room for early morning cuppa. Breakfast was excellent and each night completed menu for the next day. Allocated same table each day. Had dinner upon arrival evening and that too was excellent. Complements to the chef! Quiet property so very peaceful.

There are enough car spaces for parking and we were pleased there was an EV charging station, but unfortunately it was in ‘error’ mode. Though we tried a few times and called helpline it couldn’t be rebooted. This was outside of the hotel’s means and they said it had worked for others. As we were travelling round Cornwall we found an alternative at the local McDonald’s (not that we ate there!) but overall EV chargers are scarce in Cornwall.

Expedia handled our reservation. Fees advertised were very reasonable and accompanying photos secured our decision to not bother wasting time with \"comparison shopping\" in the area. The description of a King Bed with Seaview was accurately provided by Trelawne.
Our room was a comfortable size with ensuite tub and shower combo. Excellent Cleanliness. Top Quality Linens & Mattress. Garden & Seaview, including Cows Grazing was Idyllic! My husband and I ate dinner and breakfast at Trelawne and agreed the food preparation, as well as plate presentation, was of high caliber! The Dining Staff was very professional in attending us throughout the courses. The many large windows in the Dining Room gave every table in the room opportunity to enjoy views. The location of this hotel was perfect for our Cornwall exploration. We would definitely use Trelawne again if revisiting this area. Thank you for making a Lovely Memory!

This was a lovely place to stay. The hotel was set in a very peaceful location with stunning views out across the ocean. Our room was very well equipped with a lovely well supplied bathroom. The view from our room was amazing as too from the gardens and restaurant. The staff were extremely professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also amazing with cereals, toast, juices, tea and coffee all served with an English breakfast. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to any of my friends or family and I would definitely be staying there again. Many thanks to all the staff that made the stay so pleasant

A little gem

Booked an over night stay so that we could drop our daughter at uni. Very helpfully they take coupons (converted from TESCO rewards). A little further out from Falmouth than we anticipated but well worth the extra 10 minutes. The décor, cleanliness and friendliness were outstanding. The breakfast fabulous. It's a quiet hotel and you had to ring the bell for service (it's a family run concern and everything appears to be \"in house\" as they were doing various jobs around the hotel) but we never waited long to be attended to. In the morning (we arrived quite late) we realised what a fabulous location it is in. We will be back and cannot recommend this little gem of a place highly enough.

This property is positioned brilliantly for access to Maenporth, Bream Cove, Famouth and Mawnan Smith. The rooms felt like bedrooms rather than a hotel, and the space was clean, tidy and quiet. Breakfast orders are taken the night before and the buffet elements were ready and waiting for us on the table at our chosen time, with the hot food and drinks delivered afterwards. A perfect stay with a laid back family feel and incredibly polite staff. Will definitely be back again for our next visit to the area. X

Nice enough hotel, cosy room, very small bathroom. 9-30 on a Saturday night the bar is completely closed no staff to get a bottle of water. We were asked at breakfast about housekeeping for that day, we asked for more t-bags and milk and they were tied in a plastic bag to the door handle of our room! No clean mugs provided and the dish left for used t-bags was still there leaving us no option but to throw them in the bin. We didn’t realise that we would have to ask for everything to be done in housekeeping

We loved this little spot up the hill from a National Heritage trail overlooking the English Channel. Wonderfully friendly staff and great food. Be aware that the roads are very narrow and you are better off walking down to the beach via the footpath that we didn’t find until the way back up.

So enjoyed our stay at Trelawne!! Beautiful property with lovely views out to the ocean and the delightful farm next door. Well appointed and comfortable room. Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Comes highly recommended!!

Wonderful short stay

Although it was a short stay we had a lovely time in this gorgeous hotel. The rooms were immaculate and the staff so helpful. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and we had both an evening meal and breakfast, would highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Stayed here for 1 night and the room was clean with crisp white linen. Staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as it should be.various choices, timely and delicious.
Would definitely stay here again. It is a 7 min drive out of Falmouth but very easy and straightforward to get to.

You can always judge a place by breakfast

We stayed here for a single night - we were cooking birthday meals for someone else (very locally) so it was really a working trip. However, we felt very relaxed from the word go because of the very warm welcome from the lady on reception (Sharon? - apologies if wrong). Next day's breakfast was superb (friendly staff, again) and although we were cautious about the idea of pre-booking the contents, found that having it freshly cooked worked much better than eating the intermittently renewed flaccid bacon and congealed eggs concept that you often get in buffets at other hotels. The quantities were generous, the room and view lovely. We'll definitely book to come back again...and no, we're not related in any way to the hotel (I'm always dubious about rave reviews!!) and would strongly recommend it.

A little gem.

This is a family owned and family run hotel. They understand that happy guests mean more business.
The hotel throughout is spotless. Our room was amply big enough for 2 wrinklies and our grandson. Big plus, a power shower, which while over the bath had separate control.
We all enjoyed our breakfasts served in a lovely dining room with views across the bay. The position and setting is great.
Can't find anything that we would change. Thank you.

Good place to stay but not eat.

Hotel was very clean and tidy bathroom although dated was clean with decent water pressure on shower,

Couple of points you have to choose your breakfast the night before I did this however wasn’t given what was ticked while the breakfast that I received was good the evening meal was bland and awful I sent the first steak back as it was pure gristle in fairness they replaced it but we’re in able on both accounts to produce a rare or pink steak.
Seating in the dining room felt like a class system as you had to sit in the number that corresponds to your room, it was empty and I would’ve liked a window seat but wasn’t allowed. I had a Diet Coke which was served in the smallest glass I’ve ever seen I may be mistaken but it certainly didn’t seem like the standard serving you get in other restaurants as a result I wouldn’t recommend eating or drinking here but everything else was great

Perfect for dog owners

I would really recommend this hotel if you are a dog owner wanting to bring them with you, or if you are looking for a hotel in a lovely location just away from the main bustle of Falmouth. Our room was lovely and spacious, there is an enclosed garden for dogs to run around with, dogs are welcome at mealtimes - perfect. There is also an access point to the SW coastal path about a 10 minute walk away, and two dog friendly beaches (no restrictions) within either 10-15 minute walk / 5 minute drive and walk. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Falmouth.

The staff at this hotel couldn't have been more attentive and professional. We visited during the covid pandemic and they took extremely good measures to make sure that everyone was safe. The quality of the food was fantastic, from porridge at breakfast to fish for tea. I am sure we will return.

The Trelawne Hotel is located in a magnificent part of Cornwall, and is very quiet and hidden away – we slept very peacefully indeed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and their procedures for managing Covid transmission risks seem very thorough (safety screens in place, food service is done at a distance, tables are very widely spaced).

Gorgeous Boutique Hotel

This is an absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel off the beaten path. It is simultaneously cozy, homey, and elegant. The room was large with a spectacular view and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was modern and elegant. Even the toiletries were high quality. The bed was an American queen size (not sure what they call them here) so a step up from the usual doubles in UK hotels. There's also a large, comfortable, family room with multiple sofas and a huge picture window facing the view. I could easily and happily spend a week here. Or live here:)
